Abstract: Some embodiments relate to a method for use in connection with governance of a plurality of data assets managed by a data processing system, the method comprising: using at least one computer hardware processor to perform: accessing a data governance policy comprising a first data standard (e.g., by obtaining information about the first standard stored in a database system); generating a first data asset collection at least in part by automatically selecting, from among the plurality of data assets managed by the data processing system and using at least one data asset criterion, one or more data assets that meet the at least one data asset criterion; associating the first data asset collection with the first data standard; and verifying whether at least one of the one or more data assets in the first data asset collection complies with the first data standard.

Abstract: Wireless offloading provides tools to a service provider to encourage or direct a subscriber to offload from a first network, e.g., a cellular network, to a second network, e.g., a Wi-Fi network. The cellular service provider can use network data to determine wireless offloading priorities for cellular subscribers on an individual or group basis. The cellular service provider may use wireless network data it has and/or wireless network data it learns about networks from the wireless devices (which may obtain Wi-Fi network data from beacon frames of Wi-Fi networks or active scanning and which may report to the cellular service provider). Each wireless device can be given scanning assignments to ensure that the reporting task is shared among subscribers or adjusted to fill in gaps in data. With the network data, the cellular service provider is capable of generating useful prioritized network lists for wireless devices, either individually or as a group.

Abstract: A molded seat cushion is adapted for receiving a seat cover by providing an adhesive on either or both of a flexible fastener sheet and a selected area of a molded foam cushion surface, positioning the flexible fastener sheet to cover the selected area, and allowing the adhesive to set to permanently bond the flexible fastener sheet over the selected area of the molded foam cushion surface. The selected area features a three-dimensional contour that the flexible fastener sheet follows as bonded. A related flexible fastener product has a non-woven textile sheet and a resin layer secured to the textile sheet and carrying an array of discrete male touch fastener elements. The resin layer includes multiple parallel strips of resin, each resin strip carrying respective touch fastener elements, with each pair of adjacent strips separated by an exposed lane of the non-woven textile sheet.
Abstract: Described are methods for processing microelectronic device substrates by a lapping step, e.g., a final lapping step, wherein the step includes the use of an elastomeric pressure-sensitive adhesive to secure the microelectronic device substrate to a carrier that holds the substrate to a surface of the carrier during the lapping step, and wherein the pressure-sensitive adhesive can be a non-polysilicone based adhesive having mechanical properties that include a tan delta that is below about 0.2.

Abstract: A mower system that includes a stand-on rider platform system that includes a folding rider platform pivotally coupled to the mower frame and a folding rider platform suspension system that includes a resilient member adapted to be compressed between the folding rider platform and a member of the mower system.
Abstract: A partition assembly configured to be mounted in a tire cavity defined between a wheel and a tire to divide the tire cavity into a plurality of segments, the partition assembly including at least one air line and a plurality of baffles. Each one of the plurality of baffles including: a base configured to be mounted to the wheel, the base defining an air passageway in fluid communication with the at least one air line; and an expandable body connected to the base and in fluid communication with the air passageway of the base, the expandable body configured to be filled with air from the at least one air line. Each one of the plurality of baffles is configured to receive air from the at least one air line to expand the plurality of baffles from a deflated configuration to an inflated configuration in which the plurality of baffles are configured to contact an inner wall of the tire coupled to the wheel to divide the tire cavity into the plurality of segments.
Abstract: Disclosed herein is a PRocess Orchestration and Repository Origination Code (‘PROC’) for simultaneously configuring a data repository, preferably in the form of a structured data container, and encoding a workflow for populating the data container with items of information from designated decentralized sources of disparate type and format. PROC provides a general-purpose method for compiling, transforming and presenting items of information in a data container according to a preset standard governing structure and content. PROC encodes both the structure of the data container as well as the process for procuring and distributing the intended content. Accordingly, PROC provides a method for the real-time integration of primary data from disparate decentralized sources, including sources dynamically created during Script execution, and items of information derived from primary data, into a persistent or temporary structured container.
Abstract: A neuro-stimulation system having: a controller; a user interface arranged for, under control of the controller, providing a user with a series of information elements to be learned by the user; a non-invasive brain stimulator arranged for, under the control of the controller, tagging each information element of said series of information elements by stimulating a brain of the user with a different, unique, associated brain stimulus when the user is provided said information element by said user interface; and a non-invasive brain sensor arranged for sending to the controller data indicating a slow-wave sleep period of the user; wherein the controller is further arranged for cueing each information element of said series of information elements by causing the stimulator to stimulate the brain of the user with the brain stimuli associated with said series of information elements during said slow-wave sleep period of the user.
Abstract: A method of producing (Z)-1,1,1,4,4,4-hexafluoro-2-butene (Z-1336mzz) is described. The method utilizes readily available halogenated starting materials, including 1,1,1-trichloro-2,2,2-trifluoroethane (CFC-113a) and carbon tetrachloride.
Abstract: A utility wall is provided for a multi-story building having load bearing walls that are able to withstand vertical loads and lateral loads. The building may be a low-rise building or a mid-rise building. The utility wall, as well as the load bearing walls, floor-ceiling panels, corridor panels, and other parts of the building, are pre-manufactured off-site and then installed on-site at the site of the building. The utility walls are hung from the load bearing walls and provide utilities to the various stories of the building.
