  • Patent number: 12287096
Abstract: The present application relates to a BBQ oven, comprising an oven, a loading container and a mixing unit. The loading container is arranged on the oven, having a loading inlet on the top and a discharge outlet at the bottom; the mixing unit includes a mixing driver positioned on the side wall of the loading container and a mixer connected to the mixing driver. The BBQ oven requires no manual turning to prevent fuel arching as the mixing unit consisting of the mixing driver and the mixer connected to the mixing driver can mix and split fuel being arched by turning of the mixer driven by the mixing driver, and thereby reduces the labor work intensity.

  • Patent number: 12287781
Abstract: Solutions for enforcing both syntactic and semantic correctness of domain-specific data queries include: receiving a data query; constraining an operation of the data query to enforce semantic correctness, wherein enforcing semantic correctness comprises: determining semantic information associated with each of a plurality of data entities; based on at least the semantic information, determining whether combining the two data entities of the plurality of data entities is allowed or is not allowed; based on at least determining that combining the two data entities is allowed, permitting combining the two data entities in the data query; and based on at least determining that combining the two data entities is not allowed, preventing combining the two data entities in the data query; and executing the data query. Some examples further include basing the permission on (at least) an ontology between the semantic information of the two data entities and a set of axioms.

  • Patent number: 12286157
Abstract: A drive unit includes mounts coupled to an existing structure (e.g., steering rack) in a vehicle. The steering rack may provide mass damping to the drive unit during operation, thus providing NVH performance. The mounts may include an isolator designed to provide isolation for a component from vibration generated by the drive unit. Alternatively, a steering rack housing may carry isolators, and the mounts may couple to the isolators in the steering rack housing. Using an existing structure in the vehicle, the number of components and manufacturing complexity may be reduced.

  • Patent number: 12285177
Abstract: A method and device for reducing the damaging effects of a blast or concussive event includes applying pressure to at least one jugular vein to reduce the egress of blood from the cranial cavity during the incidence of the concussive event. Reducing blood out flow from the cranial cavity increases intracranial pressure of the cerebrospinal fluid to reduce the risk of traumatic brain injury and injuries to the spinal column. Reducing blood out flow further increases the intracranial pressure, and thereby increases the pressure of the cochlear fluid, the vitreous humor and the cerebrospinal fluid to thereby reduce the risk of injury to the inner ear, internal structure of the eye and of the spinal column. In addition, increasing intracranial pressure reduces the likelihood of brain injury and any associated loss of olfactory function.

  • Patent number: 12285199
Abstract: A bone rivet is provided that may be used as an alternative to a bone screw for bone fixation. The bone rivet includes a head and a threaded shaft that can be expanded upon installing the bone rivet into bone. A channel extends through the bone rivet and is shaped corresponding to a bulb of a mandrel used for installing the bone rivet. A first section of the channel has a smaller width than the mandrel's bulb to enable the bulb to expand the threaded shaft and a second section is sized to have a greater width. The installation process eliminates the task of rotating a typical bone screw during its installation. The threaded shaft also includes a cutting flute, which cuts a thread path for the threaded shaft into the bone thereby reducing the amount of torque needed to rotate and remove the bone rivet from bone.

  • Patent number: 12288118
Abstract: A method for manufacturing an antenna for an RFID device includes providing a conductive material on a substrate and performing a first cutting process on the conductive material to define an initial antenna. Additional cutting processes are performed on the initial antenna to define a final antenna, with the first and any subsequent cutting processes being different. The subsequent cutting processes are capable of more finely defining regions of the antenna, such as in some embodiments when the first cutting process is a die cutting process and a second cutting process is a laser cutting process. While the subsequent cutting processes are capable of more finely defining regions of the antenna than the first cutting process. By combining multiple cutting processes, a final antenna equivalent to one made using only one or more of the subsequent cutting processes may be created at a lower cost.
