Abstract: An equipment rack for use with a vehicle is described having a sliding member translatably attached to a lower cross member of the rack. The sliding member translates outwardly from the rack to a loading and unloading position. In the loading and unloading position, sports equipment may be placed on or removed from the sliding member. When the sports equipment has been loaded the sliding member may be translated back toward the rack into a stowed position. In the stowed position an upper cross member may be clamped to the lower cross member to secure the sports equipment on the rack.

Abstract: In a combine harvester, the header (1) is lifted up by the feeder (8) and secured thereto by a mechanism including a pair of securing pins (23) on the feeder's carrier structure (20,21). The securing pins are provided with stops (35) protruding towards the header and which include a sloped surface, configured to interact with positioning aids (39) on the header. The lateral outward or inward movement of the securing pins (23) is driven by a centrally placed actuator (24). As the actuator is extended, the positioning aids (39) roll or glide down the sloped surfaces, enabling a gradual approach of the header towards the feeder, up to a point where the securing pins (23) become aligned with slots (50) on the header. Continued actuation of the pin motion then establishes the securing of the header to the feeder.

Abstract: A tool storage system has a universal mounting bracket coupled to a support surface formed with a plurality of apertures that align with differently sized support arms that support a tool therefrom. The apertures are aligned along a common horizontal plane and the support arms have different heights that allow tools to be hung therefrom in a nesting relationship so that more tools can occupy less space or area relative to the support surface. The nesting relationship of the tools provides for a first tool supported by the first arm to fit within a space defined by the second tool supported by the second arm. In some instance, the first and second arms may be part of a pair of support arms, respectively.

Abstract: A server rack with a plurality of compute nodes is positioned in a facility that includes a spine and the server rack includes a middle of rack (MOR) switch located near the middle of the server rack, vertically speaking. The MOR switch includes a plurality of ports that are connected via passive cables to the compute nodes provided in the server rack. In an embodiment the passive cables are configured to function at 56 Gbps using non-return to zero (NRZ) encoding and each cable may be about or less than 1.5 meters long. An electrical to optical panel (EOP) can be positioned adjacent a top of the server rack and the EOP includes connections to the MOR switch and to the spine, thus the EOP helps connect the MOR switch to the spine. Connections between adjacent server racks can provide for additional compute bandwidth when needed.
