Abstract: The present design is directed to a cognitive system including a receiver configured to receive a set of actors and associated actor information and receive assets and their associated asset information, a creation apparatus configured to create data dictionary entries for a taxonomy based on the set of actors and the assets and create a cognitive model using the data dictionary entries for a time period, and a computing apparatus configured to compute trust of the cognitive model as a fuzzy number and activate the cognitive model if trust of the cognitive model is above a cognitive model trust threshold. When the cognitive model is activated, the cognitive modeling system is configured to schedule a collection of tasks to run that perform regular extraction of actions from an original data source and perform at least one anomaly analysis associated with the cognitive model.

Abstract: Secondary gaming functionality is implemented relative to a casino gaming machine by a secondary controller which is associated with the gaming machine. In this manner, primary gaming functionality, such as primary wagering games and the award of primary awards and/or player reward points, may be implemented by the main game controller of the gaming machine. In addition, however, secondary gaming functionality may also be implemented at the gaming machine, such as secondary wagering games, secondary awards such as bonus and progressive awards and/or player reward points, via the secondary controller. An example unmanned aerial vehicle disclosed herein includes a radio receiver to receive a radio broadcast from at least one radio station, a watermark detector to detect a watermark in the received radio broadcast, and a communication transceiver to report at least one of a detected watermark or information associated with the detected watermark to a remote receiver.

Abstract: The system may be a device that allows for mixture of an additive to a substance in a line of flow. The system may include a hydration pack with a reservoir that may contain a first substance, such as water. The system may include a cartridge with an additive that is mixed to the line of flow through a Venturi which may include a rolling seal that is manipulated with a dial a user manipulates to adjust the amount of additive added to the line of flow. The mixed liquid may then be accessed through a hose from the system to a mouth piece. The system may be modular to allow a user to replace the cartridge by disengaging a first component and a second component of the system through a buckling mechanism and replacing the cartridge within the second component. The cartridges may be reusable, recyclable or disposable.

Abstract: A method of performing backup for a group of virtual machines (VMs) is provided. Abstract: A seatbelt system for automatically detecting damage to a seatbelt webbing includes a strip of seatbelt webbing, a sensor, and processing circuitry. The strip of seatbelt webbing includes an embedded conductive material that extends through the strip of seatbelt webbing. The sensor is connected to the seatbelt webbing and is configured to measure electrical flow through the embedded conductive material. The processing circuitry is configured to receive the measurement of electrical flow from the sensor and to generate an alert based on the measurement.
Abstract: A method of making an aircraft acoustic structural panel (10) begins with preforming a core honeycomb laminate (12) having preformed foam (3) bonded inside cells (14) thereof by a distinct adhesive (2). The preformed honeycomb laminate (12) is then stacked between opposite top and bottom structural outer laminates (16,18). The stacked honeycomb laminate (12) and outer structural laminates (16,18) are then compressed together under heat and pressure into a unitary structural panel (10) having the core honeycomb laminate (12) integrally bonded between outer skins (20,22). The outer laminates (16,18) may include imperforate acoustic septums (4) bounding the core honeycomb laminate (12) followed by an outer honeycomb (5) and structural fiber layers (6,7,8) defining the outer skins (20,22).
