Abstract: A system and method for the centralized access and management of multiple IoT systems is provided via a networked media hub. The media hub functions as a nexus for multiple IoT systems, providing a familiar, single-point user interface enabling the aggregation of information from, and the transmission of user commands to various, disparate IoT systems. The hub also enables interaction between the connected IoT systems, providing a point of connection and management for previously isolated IoT systems.

Abstract: This document describes techniques and systems that enable a base-station-initiated grant revoke. The techniques and systems allow a base station to generate and send a grant-revocation message (GRM) to a user equipment (UE) to revoke a scheduled uplink (UL) or downlink (DL) grant from the base station. The base station can transmit the GRM to the UE using a variety of techniques. For example, based on a trigger event, the base station may assign a UE identifier, such as a specific radio network temporary identifier (RNTI), to the UE and transmit the GRM to the UE using a revoke-physical-downlink-control-channel (R PDCCH) transmission that is associated with the UE identifier. These techniques allow the base station to revoke a scheduled UL or DL grant, which can enable the UE to quickly address timing-critical resource allocation issues and mitigate the effects of adverse operating conditions.

Abstract: Sugar substitute compositions comprise natural ingredients that provide added human health benefits and properties and characteristics of sugar, without the caloric content and glycemic index of sugar. Unlike artificial sweeteners, the sugar substitute compositions contain no chemicals or synthetic additives and taste and function like sugar. Specifically, the sugar substitute compositions comprise digestion resistant soluble fiber comprising an oligosaccharide matrix of glucose and/or fructose oligomers, which yield the sugar substitute digestion resistant property and allow it to simultaneously enhance the growth of beneficial bacteria in the human gut. In one particular embodiment, the sugar substitute comprises a digestion resistant soluble fiber, Luo Han Guo extract, and a flavor masking agent comprising Oryza sativa (rice) extract.

Abstract: A monitoring system for an aircraft has sensors configured to sense objects around the aircraft and provide data indicative of the sensed objects. A sense and avoid system is designed in a plurality of software layers, each layer functioning in an independent manner. An evasion software layer is made up of fixed, non-modifiable code that meets an applicable regulatory standard. The remainder of the software layers may be made up of modifiable or non-modifiable code configured so as not to adversely impact the functioning of an evasion software layer, even when modified. Each of the software layers of the sense and avoid system may use information from the sensors and information about the aircraft to generate a recommendation which is ultimately used to determine a possible route that the aircraft can follow to avoid colliding with the sensed object. The aircraft may then be controlled, in accordance with the recommendation, to avoid collision with the object.

Abstract: A solar energy system for use with tufted geosynthetics on sloping ground without the use of a traditional racking system. A frame attaches to the tufted geosynthetic cover to provide a flap and a solar panel secures to the flap directly or through a polymeric layer that attaches to the frame positioned between the flap and the tufted geosynthetic land cover with the solar panel adhesively attached to the polymeric layer. The solar panel being attached to the tufted geosynthetic land cover generates energy upon exposure to light. A method of securing a solar panel to a tufted geosynthetic land cover system for generation of energy is disclosed.

Abstract: A wireless device receives configuration parameters of a secondary physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) group. The secondary PUCCH group comprises: a PUCCH secondary cell; and a secondary cell. The wireless device receives, during a first time interval, a command activating the secondary cell. The wireless device starts transmission of channel state information for the secondary cell from a second time interval that is a positive number plus a pre-determined number of time intervals after the first time interval. In response to activation of the PUCCH secondary cell being completed in or after the pre-determined number of time intervals after the first time interval, the positive number is based on when activation of the PUCCH secondary cell is completed.

The minimum scheduling offset value may be a minimum value of one or more possible scheduling offset values, in the time domain, between downlink control information (DCI) and a downlink data channel schedulable by the DCI. The wireless device may receive a first DCI comprising a BWP index of the BWP and a field indicating to apply the minimum scheduling offset value. The wireless device may receive a second DCI indicating a scheduling offset value between the second DCI and a downlink data channel scheduled by the second DCI. The scheduling offset value may be greater than, or equal to, the minimum scheduling offset value based on the field.

Abstract: A satellite used in a multi-satellite LEO/VLEO constellation is configured to reduce drag and increase satellite life in orbit by virtue of its streamlined casing. The satellite has a longitudinal axis defining the y-axis of a right-handed x, y, z coordinate system and contains a plurality of antennas for receiving and transmitting radio signals, rechargeable batteries, and solar panels. Control circuitry in the satellite actuates attitude stabilizing and controlling mechanisms by selectively connecting the batteries to the stabilizing mechanism for urging the satellite into an operational attitude with the y-axis of the casing substantially aligned with earth's magnetic field. The controlling mechanism sets a tilt angle denoting the amount of rotation of the satellite about its y-axis to point the solar panels and/or the antennas in desired directions.

Valves of the present invention include a housing having an upper body and a lower body that may be coupled together to form an inner chamber, the lower body having an inlet in communication with a source of fluid under pressure, the upper body having an outlet in communication with a fluid emission device. A hollow movable fluid transmission piston is provided in the chamber for communicating between the inlet and outlet.

The method includes switching on the current injection switch to start a current injection flowing from a controlled voltage source, through the unidirectional current injection switch and further through the current injection winding. An embodiment of an EERS, for example, includes an inlet duct that is configured to divert exhaust gas from an exhaust duct of the engine into the recovery system and an outlet duct configured to return the exhaust gas to the exhaust duct downstream of the inlet duct. The recovery system is configured to heat components or fluids associated with engine to operating temperatures. The recovery system may be part of a mobile power system that is mounted to a single trailer and includes an engine and a power unit such as a high pressure pump or generator mounted to the trailer. Methods of operating and purging recovery systems are also disclosed.
