Abstract: An ADV includes a vehicle frame housing the ADV, a first LIDAR, a second LIDAR, a third LIDAR devices, and an autonomous driving system responsible for autonomously driving the ADV. The first LIDAR device is mounted on a frontend of the vehicle frame. The second LIDAR device is mounted on a first side (e.g., left side) of the vehicle frame and the third LIDAR device is mounted on a second side (e.g., right side) of the vehicle frame. The autonomous driving system includes a perception module and a planning module. The perception module is configured to perceive a driving environment surrounding the ADV at least based on LIDAR data obtained from the first, second, and third LIDAR devices. The planning module is configured to plan a path to drive the ADV based on perception data from the perception module representing the driving environment. The ADV may be an autonomous driving bus.
Abstract: An impeller for a pump is disclosed herein. The impeller can include a hub having a fixed end and a free end. The impeller can also have a plurality of blades supported by the hub. Each blade can have a fixed end coupled to the hub and a free end. The impeller can have a stored configuration and a deployed configuration, the blades in the deployed configuration extending away from the hub, and the blades in the stored configuration being compressed against the hub.

Abstract: An audio-video correspondence system performs a correspondence analysis between audio and video content. The system obtains video content that includes audio content, the video content comprising a plurality of frames. The system identifies a first set of pixels within the video content associated with changes in pixel values over a first set of frames of the video content. The system subsequently identifies, from the audio content, first audio associated with the first set of frames corresponding to changes in pixel values of the first set of pixels. The system finally assigns the first audio over the first set of frames to the first set of pixels.

Abstract: The technology relates to determining an establishment's presence at a geolocation. A computing device may receive a first image including location data associated with the first image's capture. A set of images, which include location information and one or more identification marks associated with one or more establishments may also be received. The computing device may compare the first image to the set of images to determine whether the first image contains one of the one or more identification marks, and determine that one of the one or more establishments, associated with the one of the one or more identification marks contained in the first image, is currently located within a set proximity of the first image location. The computing device may also update a location database by associating the one of the one or more establishments with a location within a set proximity of the first image location.
Abstract: A feedwater sparger repair assembly includes a cover plate having a partial cylindrical shape and having a nozzle opening and a pair of bolt openings extending through the cover plate. A nozzle is attached to the cover plate and surrounds the nozzle opening. A pair of T-bolts extend through a respective one of the pair of bolt openings and each include a shank having a threaded portion extending from an exterior side of the cover plate and a partial cylindrical head portion disposed at an end of the shank on an interior side of the cover plate. A pair of nuts are engaged with the threaded portion of the pair of T-bolts. The feedwater sparger repair assembly is adapted to be mounted to an opening that is cut into a core spray pipe in order to repair/replace a sparger that becomes cracked.
