  • Patent number: 11232119
Abstract: Content items may be selected and served with a resource such that each content item is displayed in a corresponding content item slot based on a determined order. The determined order may be based on content of the resource and a referral query. A referral query location of the resource may be based on the referral query and data indicative of content of the resource. In some implementations, the determined order may be based on a predictive model and the referral query location. The predictive model may be based on aggregate historical data of interactions. In some implementations, the determined order may be based on a proximity of a content item slot relative to the referral query location.

  • Patent number: 11233798
Abstract: Disclosed are systems, methods, and non-transitory computer-readable media for independently configurable sub-profiles that can be used to express intent within a user profile. A sub-profile is a portion of the user profile that can be assigned an independent set of visibility settings from the other portions of the user profile. A user may add profile data to a sub-profile and select visibility settings for the sub-profile that define access to the profile data included in the sub-profile. Accordingly, access to the profile data included in the sub-profile is managed according to a different set of visibility settings that the profile data included in other portions of the user profile (e.g., profile data not included in the sub-profile). This allows user to make certain profile data available to a different audience of users, either through accessing the user profile and/or through search.

  • Patent number: 11234118
Abstract: A wireless access node controls Multiple Input Multiple Output (MIMO) layers for a User Equipment (UE). A radio wirelessly exchanges user data with other UEs and exchanges the user data with baseband circuitry. The baseband circuitry exchanges the user data with network elements over backhaul links. The baseband circuitry determines a status of the backhaul links. The baseband circuitry identifies the radio band status for the UE. The baseband circuitry receives user data for the UE from the network elements over the backhaul links. The baseband circuitry selects a number of MIMO layers for the UE based on the radio band status and the backhaul status. The baseband circuitry precodes the user data into precoded data for the selected number of MIMO layers and transfers the precoded data to the radio. The radio wirelessly transmits the precoded data to the UE over the selected number of MIMO layers.

  • Patent number: 11233631
Abstract: Key management for encrypted data includes establishing a cache of key decryption keys and periodically evicting the keys from the cache. A pool of key encryption keys also is created and periodically, selected key encryption keys are removed from service. Notably, the rate of removal of the encryption keys differs from the rate of cache eviction for the decryption keys. Thereafter, clear data is encrypted with a cipher to produce cipher text, and the cipher is encrypted with a selected key encryption key from the pool. Finally, in response to an access request for the clear data, an attempt to locate in the cache a key decryption key for the encrypted cipher is made. If attempt fails, the key decryption key is retrieved from remote memory. Finally, the encrypted cipher is decrypted with the located key, and the cipher text decrypted to produce the clear data.

  • Patent number: 11234201
Abstract: A broadcasting method has been developed that no longer uses the point-to-point measurements that causes the bottlenecks due to the number of measurements that need to be taken increasing non-linearly with the number of nodes. In addition, not all nodes need to emit. This results in significantly less expensive devices that can be paired with emitting nodes in the infrastructure. The energy emitted by the group is lowered and there is significantly less bandwidth that is used compared to current systems. This system is designed to synchronize remote clocks and localize a group of nodes and comprises at least 4 ranging nodes equipped with a clock, the capability to send and receive messages, the capability to time-tag messages, the capability for the nodes to compute the two sheeted hyperboloids from the emissions of other nodes, and the capability of combining multiple hyperboloids to solve the localization equations.

  • Patent number: 11231215
Abstract: An injection device (10) injects a dispensable fluid material (32), for example, a liquid sealant, into refrigerant lines of an air conditioning or refrigeration pressurized system, by utilizing the pressure difference between high and low pressure zones of the pressurized system. The device comprises a tube (12) which contains the dispensable fluid material (32) and is closed by an outlet valve (26). A movable member (34) houses a spring-loaded check valve (38) and is disposed downstream of and spaced from the outlet valve (26). The movable member (34) is movable within a passageway (24e) formed in an outlet tube connector (24). Upon being connected to a service port (17) of a pressurized system by an installation nut (28), movable member (34) is forced into engagement with the outlet valve (26) to open it to dispense fluid material (32) into service port (17).

  • Patent number: 11232036
Abstract: Writes to one or more physical storage devices may be blocked after a certain storage consumption threshold (WBT) for each physical storage device. A WBT for certain designated physical storage devices may be applied in addition to, or as an alternative to, determining and applying a user-defined background task mode threshold (UBTT) for certain designated physical storage devices. In some embodiments, the WBT and UBTT for a physical storage device designated for spontaneous de-staging may be a same threshold value. Write blocking management may include, for each designated physical storage device, blocking any writes to the designated physical storage device after a WBT for the designated physical storage device has been reached, and restoring (e.g., unblocking) writes to the designated physical storage device after storage consumption on the physical storage device has been reduced to a storage consumption threshold (WRT) lower than the WBT.
