Abstract: Chemoproteomic methods for detecting and profiling electrophilic post-translational modifications (PTMs) and oxidative PTMs in proteins are described. The methods including contacting a proteomic mixture with a probe having hydrazine and alkyne moieties or oxyamine and alkyne moieties to form a covalent linkage between the hydrazine or oxyamine moiety of the probe and the electrophilic PTM or oxidative PTM of the protein. The resulting alkyne-derivatized proteins are labelled with an azide modified tag via a click chemistry reaction. The labelled proteins can then be detected or profiled using techniques such as, for example, fluorescence imaging or mass spectrometry. Also described are protein conjugates having a covalent linkage formed by reaction of a hydrazine or oxyamine moiety of a probe with an electrophilic or oxidative PTM of a protein.
Abstract: Methods, systems, and apparatuses for a high availability (HA) storage cluster comprising a switch, a set of storage resources, and a set of nodes. Each node includes an HA module. The HA module maintains a real storage object representing a storage resource that provides an interface for accessing the storage resource. The HA module maintains a ghost storage object corresponding to the real storage object. The ghost storage object is configured to return an error in response to a call to the interface when the command is an I/O command and return a valid path when the command is a discovery command, connect command, or namespace ID command. When the node owns the storage resource, the interface of the real storage object is called to execute the command. Otherwise, the interface of the ghost storage object is called to respond to the command.

Abstract: The technology relates to determining whether a vehicle operating in an autonomous driving mode is experiencing an anomalous condition, for instance due to a loss of tire pressure, a mechanical failure, or a shift or loss of cargo. The actual current pose of the vehicle is compared to an expected pose of the vehicle, where the expected pose is based on a model of the vehicle. If a pose discrepancy is identified, the anomalous condition is determined from information associated with the pose discrepancy. The vehicle is then able to take corrective action based on the nature of the anomalous condition. The corrective action may include making a real-time driving change, modifying a planned route, alerting a remote operations center, or communicating with one or more other vehicles.
Abstract: An apparatus may include a first layer that includes a plurality of inlets and a surface feature; a second layer, where the surface feature opposes the second layer; an outlet, and a pattern defined on at least one of the first layer and the second layer, where the pattern defines a suction path from each inlet of the plurality of inlets to the outlet.
