Abstract: This system is for the management of warranty information comprising: a kiosk disposed at a construction site; retrieving a set of warranty requirements representing requirements for maintaining a valid warranty for the construction project from the distributed ledger, creating a warranty record including the set of warranty requirements, determining if a set of construction materials retrieved from a distributed ledger representing construction materials physically delivered to the construction site are in compliance with the set of warranty requirements, determining if an installation action detected by the kiosk is in compliance with the set of warranty requirements, detecting an environmental condition at a date and a time that the installation action is performed, determining if the installation action is in compliance with an environmental condition requirement included in the set of warranty requirements, creating or appending a warranty record and storing the warranty record on the distributed ledger.

Abstract: Disclosed herein are various embodiments for a customer callback system. An embodiment operates by determining a call action indicating a customer to whom a representative is to speak. Data corresponding to an identifier associated with a computing device of the customer and an ad history indicating when a plurality of ads were presented to an application on the computing device of the customer over a defined period of time are retrieved. Based on the data, a pattern associated with when the customer is using the computing device is generated. The pattern is based on a comparison of a first period of time a second period of time during when ads were presented to the computing device. Based on the pattern, a target time indicating when to perform the call action is produced.

Abstract: A method is used in validating data in a storage system. The method writes host data to the storage system during processing of a host I/O operation, where the host is in communication with the storage system. The storage system writes host data and test data associated with the host data to a storage device of the storage system. The method reads the host data and the test data from the storage device for validating the host data, and evaluates the test data to determine whether the host data has been written correctly by the storage system to the storage device. Upon determining that the host data has not been written correctly by the storage system to the storage device due to a failure, the method evaluates the test data to determine a cause of the failure.

Abstract: A method for providing augmented reality contents to a wearer using a head-mounted display device that includes an eye tracking sensor, a light projector, a beam steerer, and a combiner includes determining, with the eye tracking sensor, a position of a pupil of an eye of the wearer. The method also includes projecting, with the light projector, light for rendering images based at least on the augmented reality contents, and changing, with the beam steerer, a direction of the light from the light projector based on the position of the pupil. The light from the beam steerer is directed toward the combiner and the light from the beam steerer and light from an outside of the head-mounted display device are combined, by the combiner, to provide an overlap of a rendered image and a real image that corresponds to the light from the outside of the head-mounted display device.

The first database is configured to store eligibility data for individuals associated a group healthcare plan, a set of user identifiers, one or more demographic information from the specific user, and one or more eligibility data. The second database is configured to store a plurality of rules for a claim submission associated with each group healthcare plan, originating payors associated with the claim submission, each originating payors having at least one data submission requirement associated with the claim submission, and a rule for a processed claim submission associated with each of the plurality of originating payors. The originating payors transmit the eligibility data for the individuals associated with the group healthcare plan such that the data submission requirement for each of the originating payors is mapped to the database.

Abstract: A water flow deflection device to enhance a watercraft's wake. An elongated base with two ends is aligned along the side of the watercraft. The base has a deflector interface with concentrically arranged teeth. A deflector assembly is operably attached to the base between the two ends, with a face that deflects water. The deflector's leading end is closer to the watercraft than the trailing end. The deflector assembly has a base interface with concentrically arranged teeth. Two or more suction cup assemblies attach to the elongated base to provide removable attachment, with one attached between a first end and the deflector interface and another attached between a second end and the deflector interface. The concentrically arranged teeth of the deflector interface and the base interface operably interlock, allowing rotational adjustment of the deflector relative to the base.

Abstract: An avatar personalization engine can generate personalized avatars for a user by creating a 3D user model based on one or more images of the user. The avatar personalization engine can compute a delta between the 3D user model and an average person model, which is a model created based on the average measurements from multiple people. The avatar personalization engine can then apply the delta to a generic avatar model by changing measurements of particular features of the generic avatar model by amounts specified for corresponding features identified in the delta. This personalizes the generic avatar model to resemble the user. Additional features matching characteristics of the user can be added to further personalize the avatar model, such as a hairstyle, eyebrow geometry, facial hair, glasses, etc.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a dummy load circuit for a single live wire switch. This includes: a switch circuit—at least a first resistor and a switch are connected in the switch circuit, wherein the first resistor is connected to the switch, such that the first resistor is connected to the dummy load circuit through the switch; and a switch control circuit—the switch control circuit at least includes a switch control device, wherein the switch control device is connected to the switch to facilitate power-on/off control. Abstract: An open compiler system for the construction of safe and correct computational systems. This system allows a user to define multiple computational resources, each of which containing multiple computations, which, together, provide some desired functionality. This system generates the artifacts required to create such computational resources, may verify logical properties of such a system, may integrate user-defined programs in the process of compiling such artifacts, and may allow for the deployment, debugging, and monitoring of such computational resources.

Abstract: Prosthetic heart valves described herein can be deployed using a transcatheter delivery system and technique to interface and anchor in cooperation with the anatomical structures of a native heart valve. Deployment systems and methods for using the deployment systems described herein facilitate implanting a two-part prosthetic heart valve that is arranged in a nested configuration during the transcatheter delivery and deployment processes.

Abstract: According to one configuration, a system includes a mobile communication device in communication with a wireless base station. During operation, the mobile communication device detects one or more conditions associated with the wireless network environment. Based on the one or more detected conditions, the mobile communication device selects amongst multiple channel access procedures to communicate with the wireless base station and establish a wireless communication link. The mobile communication device can be configured to include supplemental data in a message to the wireless base station to indicate a reason for the mobile communication device selecting a particular channel access procedure of the multiple channel access procedures.
