Abstract: An golf tournament simulation method may include generating predicted hole scores for each hole of each round of a golf tournament. Historical shot data corresponding to a historical occurrence of one or more hole events may be utilized as weight to generate predicted outcomes of hole events for each hole. A score probability distribution may be assigned to the predicted outcomes to generate predicted hole scores. Simulations may be analyzed for predicted outcome probabilities such as win probability, cutline, or Top-10 finish probability. The simulations may be updated during actual play by replacing predicted scores with actual scores. Predicted outcome probabilities may be updated based on the updated simulations updated to include the actual scores.

Abstract: In certain embodiments, speech is converted to text for theme identification by natural language processing. Notification data is generated based on detected themes and the notification data may include rules for notification presentation on a client device. The notification data may include parameters for processing image data captured by an augmented reality device to detect one or more objects. The objects may be associated with the theme and detection thereof within captured image data, and in accordance with other rules, may cause the augmented reality device to present a notification with contextual relevance to a current environment of a user utilizing the augmented reality device.

Abstract: The present invention provides an analyte detection system for detecting target analytes in a sample. In particular, the invention provides a detection system in a rotor or disc format that utilizes a centrifugal force to move the sample through the detection system. Methods of using the rotor detection system to detect analytes in samples, particularly biological samples, and kits comprising the rotor detection system are also disclosed.
Abstract: A system and method for providing small animal veterinary care is provided. The system and method includes providing an enclosed garage adjacent to a veterinary exam room and the garage includes entry and exit garage doors at opposite ends of the garage. A vehicle holding a small animal is received into the garage through the entry garage door. Without going outside the small animal receives veterinary care, such as outpatient veterinary care, which may occur in the adjacent exam room. Following the provision of care, the vehicle exits the garage through the exit garage door. The garage and the veterinary exam room are located under a common roof, such that the small animal is able to be moved from the vehicle directly into the exam room without going outside.
Abstract: Described herein are compounds of Formula I: or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, wherein A, R1, R2, R3, W, X, Y, Z, m, n and p are as defined herein. The compounds of Formula I act as RIPK1 inhibitors and can be useful in preventing, treating or acting as a remedial agent for RIPK1-related diseases.

Abstract: Methods, tools, and systems for determining CO2 saturation in a porous formation using pulsed neutron logging are described. Embodiments of a pulsed neutron logging tool feature a pulsed neutron generator configured to emit pulsed neutrons into the formation and at least two detectors configured to receive emitted photons. The first detector is located closer to the neutron generator than the second detector. Embodiments of the method involve determining first detector formation capture counts indicative of neutron capture photons originating from the formation and detected at the first detector, determining second detector borehole capture counts indicative of neutron capture photons originating from the borehole and detected at the second detector, using the first detector formation capture counts and the second detector borehole capture counts to estimate the saturation of CO2 in the formation.
Abstract: A test capsule for measuring at least one property of a material exposed to nuclear radiation comprises a lattice structure configured to exhibit a change in at least one property responsive to exposure to nuclear radiation. The lattice structure comprises a first strut and a second strut connected to the first strut at a node. Related test capsules and methods are also described.

Abstract: An electronic device holder for controlling a temperature of an electronic device includes a shell body having a bottom wall, a top portion, and a dividing wall between the bottom wall and top portion. A shell cap is detachably coupled to the shell body and configured to move between an open position and a closed position. A removable temperature controlling insert is disposed in the shell body, and a card aperture is disposed on the top portion of the shell body. The card aperture is configured to receive a card to be processed by a card reader. When the shell cap is in the closed position, the shell cap is coupled to the shell body and forms a cavity at the top portion of the shell body and forms a chamber adjacent the cavity. The chamber is configured to enclose the removable temperature controlling insert.
Abstract: Systems and methods are described for transmitting information optically. For instance, a system may include an optical source configured to generate a beam of light. The system may include at least one modulator configured to encode data on the beam of light to produce an encoded beam of light/encoded plurality of pulses. The system may include a spectrally-equalizing amplifier configured to receive the encoded beam of light/encoded plurality of pulses from the at least one modulator and both amplify and filter the encoded beam of light/encoded plurality of pulses to produce a filtered beam of light/filtered plurality of pulses, thereby spectrally equalizing a gain applied to the encoded beam of light. In some cases, the system may slice the beam of slight, to ensure a detector has impulsive detection. In some cases, the system may include a temperature controller to shift a distribution curve of wavelengths of the optical source.
Abstract: A system and method for automated cybersecurity defensive strategy analysis that predicts the evolution of new cybersecurity attack strategies and makes recommendations for cybersecurity improvements to networked systems based on a cost/benefit analysis. The system and method use machine learning algorithms to run simulated attack and defense strategies against a model of the networked system created using a directed graph. Recommendations are generated based on an analysis of the simulation results against a variety of cost/benefit indicators.
