Patent number: 11190589Abstract: A data loss prevention mechanism for a cloud-based security analytics system is provided that utilizes a compact repository that improves the ratio of false positives over traditional methods, maintains a small data size, permits distribution of compact repository files to a large number of analyzing nodes, and provides metadata for matched events. A compressed bitmap of information found in a compact repository is used, thereby improving the utilization of storage space for a repository containing information associated with a significant number of data fingerprints. Compression further allows for a larger entry size in the compact repository, thereby providing a lower false positive rate. A mechanism for distributing updates to compact repositories residing on cloud servers is provided by updating a central server and propagating the updates to remote servers.Type: GrantFiled: October 27, 2020Date of Patent: November 30, 2021Assignee: Forcepoint, LLCInventors: Ayval Ron, Fodi Medhat, Yan Lerman

Patent number: 11188916Abstract: The subject matter disclosed herein provides methods for detecting and mitigating fraudulent transactions conducted over a network. This method can access one or more data values associated with an online transaction between a first party and a second party. The first party can initiate the online transaction. The data values can characterize an identity of the first party and the second party. A score representing a likelihood that the online transaction is fraudulent can be generated. The generation of the score can be based on one or more models for detecting fraud using the data values. The score can be compared to one or more threshold scores. Patent number: 11190948Abstract: Methods and apparatus for providing quasi-licensed spectrum allocation among two or more entities within a prescribed coverage or operational area. In one embodiment, the quasi-licensed spectrum utilizes 3.5 GHz CBRS (Citizens Broadband Radio Service) spectrum allocated between two or more Federal or commercial SASs (Spectrum Access Systems), for use by various service provider entities such as a managed content delivery network that includes one or more wireless access nodes (e.g., CBSDs). In one variant, each of two or more SAS entities generate both proposed allocations for themselves and other participating SAS entities with respect to available GAA spectrum, and differences between the proposed allocations are reconciled and condensed using a dynamic, iterative process to converge on a final allocation which fits the available GAA spectrum and which equitably distributes the spectrum between the participating SAS entities.Type: GrantFiled: August 30, 2019Date of Patent: November 30, 2021Assignee: Charter Communications Operating, LLCInventors: Umamaheswar A.
