Patent number: 11189928Abstract: A technique is provided for tuning the resonance frequency of an electric-based antenna formed by a radiator element coupled to an antenna ground plane. The disclosed method comprises providing a plurality of parasitic capacitive elements extending in an electric field direction of the electric-based antenna so as to lower the resonance frequency of the electric-based antenna below a desired resonance frequency. The electric-based antenna is then integrated within a deployment environment of interest, and thereafter an indication of an actual frequency response of the electric-based antenna within the deployment environment is obtained. One or more of the parasitic capacitive elements may then be removed so as to adjust the actual resonance frequency towards the desired resonance frequency. By such an approach, a significant degree of adjustment in the resonance frequency of the antenna can be made after the antenna has been integrated within the deployment environment.Type: GrantFiled: April 3, 2019Date of Patent: November 30, 2021Assignee: AIRSPAN IP HOLDCO LLCInventor: Hassanein Daniel Rabah

Patent number: 11186944Abstract: This invention relates to a method for making polyester fabric treated with a CBD powder to provide a novel CBD finish on the polyester fabric. The polyester fabric is treated with a CBD powder to provide a novel finish. The treatment process includes a washing step, wherein the treating CBD water is added to a water channel before the finishing step. Then, the polyester fabric is passed through the water channel having the treating CBD water in the ratio of 1:1000, which is one gram of CBD powder to each 1000 grams of water. The flow rate of the treating CBD water has a ratio of 5:1000, which adds 5 grams of CBD powder to each 1000 grams of water in order to apply the correct treatment of CBD water. In addition, the polyester fabric moves at a speed of approximately 20 meters per minute through the water channel, and the bathing treatment has a normal temperature of 30-35° C. The maximum temperature of the drying machine is 220° C., but has a preferred range of 170-220° C.Type: GrantFiled: October 23, 2019Date of Patent: November 30, 2021Assignee: Sam Salem and Son, LLCInventor: Jesse Salem

Patent number: 11188711Abstract: The technology described herein enables users to enrich their vocabulary by annotating and/or automatically translating specific words, which are predicted to be unknown to the specific user. The user experiences the original content enriched with adaptive, smart in-line annotations of unknown words. The technology is tailored to individual users by understanding an individual user's vocabulary in a particular language. As a user consumes content or performs document authoring/editing activities, the system captures language usage patterns, maintained in a private Vocabulary Analytics Store (VAS) for the particular user. Information in the VAS is used as input to a machine classifier that determines whether a word is likely to be known or unknown to a user.Type: GrantFiled: August 8, 2019Date of Patent: November 30, 2021Assignee: MICROSOFT TECHNOLOGY LICENSING, LLCInventor: Georgios Krasadakis
