Abstract: Providing mobile electric power comprising a power generation transport configured to convert hydrocarbon fuel to electricity and an inlet and exhaust transport configured to: couple to at least one side of the power generation transport such that the inlet and exhaust transport is not connected to a top side of the power generation transport, provide ventilation air and combustion air to the power generation transport, collect exhaust air from the power generation transport, and filter the exhaust air.

Abstract: Certain splice arrangements include first and second laminate structures bonded around a splice location at which two or more optical fibers are spliced (e.g., fusion spliced) together. The first and second laminate structures each include a flexible polymeric sheet and a heat activated adhesive layer carried by the flexible polymeric sheet. Other splice arrangements include a protective barrier disposed about an optical splice. The protective barrier includes first and second protective layers bonded around the optical splice. Each protective layer include a film carrying an adhesive. The protective barrier may be sufficiently flexible to not restrict flexing the optical fibers at the splice location. Example splice arrangements have thicknesses of less than or equal to 1000 microns, or 900 microns, or 800 microns, or 700 microns, or 600 microns or 500 microns.

Abstract: A Method of decoding an encoded video bitstream using at least one processor includes: obtaining an encoded video bitstream, the encoded video bitstream including encoded color components; entropy parsing the encoded color components; dequantizing the color components and obtaining transform coefficients of the color components; applying a joint components secondary transform (JCST) on the transform coefficients of the color components, thereby generating JCST outputs; performing a backward transform on the JCST outputs, thereby obtaining residual components of the color components; and decoding the encoded video bitstream based on the residual components of the color components.

Abstract: A method, computer program, and computer system is provided for encoding or decoding video data. Video data including a chroma component and a luma component is received. A first coding tree structure associated with the luma component and a second coding tree structure associated with the chroma component are determined, wherein the first coding tree structure and the second coding tree structure share a same top level coding tree structure. The video data is decoded based on the first coding tree structure and the second coding tree structure.

Also disclosed is a method of facilitating water filtration using a regenerative media filter vessel. The method includes providing a regenerative media filter vessel of this disclosure. Abstract: A system and method for sanitizing currency is provided. The system generally comprises a container, control board, switch, power supply, heating elements, temperature probe, and charging ports. Currency is inserted into the system via an entrance, and the control board provides power to the heating elements from the power supply to increase the temperature within the internal cavity of the container. The temperature probe assists the control board and heating element to maintain a desired temperature for a desired length of time in order to kill pathogens that may be living on the currency. A switch on the container may be used to complete a circuit of control board and initiate a cleaning cycle when the entrance is closed by a user.

The method comprises acquiring an image of a voxel of the storage medium, applying a first low-pass filter with a first cutoff frequency to the image of the voxel to obtain a first background image, applying a second low-pass filter with a second cutoff frequency to the image of the voxel to obtain a second background image, the second cutoff frequency being different than the first cutoff frequency, determining an enhanced background image from the first background image and the second background image, determining birefringence values for the enhanced background image, determining birefringence values for the image of the voxel, and correcting the birefringence values for the image of the voxel based upon the birefringence values for the enhanced background image.

Each sensor is assigned a randomly generated number value, and a sequenced drawing of the numbered sensors is called upon a triggering event resultant from a captured piece of data of a target entering each of the numbered sensors' ZOI. The assigned value corresponding to its numbered sensor along with the sensory data captured is stored, and thereafter the stored sensory data is analyzed to determine which of the stored sensory data passes a criteria for a desired outcome of a game at play. For those game players associated with a numbered sensor whose satisfies the criteria for the game at play, they are conveyed an award or bonus.

Abstract: A case for a portable electronic device that includes a device stand attached to a back surface of the case housing is disclosed herein. The device stand is formed by an inner stand and an outer stand connected by releasable hinged connections that are connected to the back surface of the case housing. One or more tracks are formed on an inner surface of the outer stand. The inner stand slides along the one or more tracks. A locking portion such as a cavity or channel on the outer stand locks the inner stand into an open position with respect to the outer stand. At least a portion of the outer stand is flexible such that applying a threshold pressure to the case causes the portion of the outer stand to flex, releasing the inner stand from the locking portion to allow the inner and outer stands to be closed.

The face shield assembly includes a transparent shield panel coupled with a front strap and back strap. The front strap contacts the forehead and spaces the transparent shield panel away from the face. The back strap extends around the head and holds the transparent shield panel on the head. Each of the straps are adjustable for different type head sizes.
