Publication number: 20210348399Abstract: A stabilization and anti-rotation system provides for secure interconnection between a scaffolding work platform and two primary platforms, each of which is attached to a ladder, and prevents relative movement between the primary platforms and the scaffolding platform. A locating block is attached to a plate of each primary platform 402. A pair of spaced apart and vertically oriented guide blocks are attached to a facing plate on each end of the work platform and positioned so that a guide slot is defined between the blocks. When assembled, the locating block is closely captured between the guide blocks and the structure provides stability and prevents rotation of the work platform relative to the primary platforms.Type: ApplicationFiled: July 19, 2021Publication date: November 11, 2021Applicant: Blue Moon Designs, LLCInventor: Dale Martin Neubauer

Publication number: 20210349756Abstract: A scheduler for a storage node uses multi-dimensional weighted resource cost matrices to schedule processing of IOs. A separate matrix is created for each computing node of the storage node via machine learning or regression analysis. Each matrix includes distinct dimensions for each emulation of the computing node for which the matrix is created. Each dimension includes modeled costs in terms of amounts of resources of various types required to process an IO of various IO types. An IO received from a host by a computing node is not scheduled for processing by that computing node unless enough resources are available at each emulation of that computing node. If enough resources are unavailable at an emulation, then the IO is forwarded to a different computing node that has enough resources at each of its emulations. A weighted resource cost for processing the IO is calculated and used to determine scheduling priority.Type: ApplicationFiled: July 20, 2021Publication date: November 11, 2021Applicant: EMC IP HOLDING COMPANY LLCInventor: Ramesh Doddaiah

Publication number: 20210351986Abstract: A wireless device may receive a first configuration parameter, a second configuration parameter and a third configuration parameter. The first configuration parameter may be of a first SPS configuration and may indicate a first HARQ codebook identifier. The second configuration parameter may be of a second SPS configuration and may indicate a second HARQ codebook identifier. The third configuration parameter may indicate a state that is mapped to the first SPS configuration and the second SPS configuration. The wireless device may receive a DCI. Publication number: 20210350960Abstract: An instrumented electric power voltage arrester includes a temperature sensor, wireless transmitter, and a visual over-temperature indicator. A disk shaped module, a replacement varister block, or a dummy block containing the sensor/transmitter is placed between varister blocks inside the arrester housing. A strap-on module is attached to the outside of the arrester housing. The sensor/transmitter utilizes a harvesting power supply that draws electric power for the electronics from the power line protected by the arrester. An ambient temperature sensor may be utilized to enhance accuracy. The temperature sensor/transmitter typically sends arrester monitoring data wirelessly to an RTU or handheld unit located outside the arrester, which relays the monitoring data to an operations control center that scheduled replacement of the arrester based on the monitoring data. A surge counter keeps track of the number of equipment and lightning related temperature surges experienced by the arrester.Type: ApplicationFiled: July 22, 2021Publication date: November 11, 2021Applicant: Southern States, LLCInventors: Joseph R Rostron, Josh Keister, Raj Anand

Publication number: 20210352553Abstract: A connection between two UEs is identified by a single connection identifier. Different streams are transmitted over different wireless links with potential redundancy between streams. Initially a first WiFi link is used to communicate with the second UE. After the first UE decides it will handoff to a second WiFi AP it establishes a connection with a cellular AP and then communicates a second stream corresponding to the same connection. The first and second streams initially communicate the same content. The first WiFi link is terminated, but the second stream continues to communicate content. The first UE then establishes a second WiFi connection with a second WiFi AP and communicates a third content stream of the first connection to second UE via second WiFi link. The third stream initially communicates information also communicated over second stream. The cellular link is terminated. The second WiFi link is used to communicate content.Type: ApplicationFiled: May 22, 2021Publication date: November 11, 2021Applicant: Charter Communications Operating, LLCInventor: Jody Beck

Publication number: 20210349970Abstract: A method and system provide the ability to enforce application protection in the cloud. A request to register an application is received in a registration tool executing within a cloud computing environment. The registration tool collects application information data and protection policy settings, and registers the application by returning, to a build-time environment, a secure protection authorization (SPA) certificate that authorizes the application to be built. A build registration tool executing in the cloud computing environment receives, from a cloud protection toolchain executing in the build-time environment, signed build-data that includes the SPA and build information for a build of the application. After determining, in the cloud, that the SPA is authenticate, developer credentials are authorized, and the build information is valid, the build registration tool responds to the cloud protection toolchain that the build for the application is authorized.Type: ApplicationFiled: May 5, 2021Publication date: November 11, 2021Applicant: ARRIS Enterprises LLCInventors: Rafie Shamsaasef, Lex A.
