Abstract: A method, computer program product, and system identifying a probability of a medical condition in a patient. The method includes a processor obtaining data set(s) related to a patient population diagnosed with a medical condition and based on a frequency of features in the data set(s), identifying common features. The processor generates pattern(s) including a portion of the common features to generate a machine learning algorithm(s). The processor compiles a training set of data to use to tune the machine learning algorithm(s). The processor dynamically adjusts common features in the pattern(s) such that the machine learning algorithm(s) can distinguish patient data indicating the medical condition from patient data not indicating the medical condition. The processor applies the machine learning algorithm(s) to data related to the undiagnosed patient, to determine the probability.

Abstract: The present disclosure is generally directed to the generation of voice-activated data flows in interconnected network. The voice-activated data flows can include input audio signals that include a request and are detected at a client device. The client device can transmit the input audio signal to a data processing system, where the input audio signal can be parsed and passed to the data processing system of a service provider to fulfill the request in the input audio signal. The present solution is configured to conserve network resources by reducing the number of network transmissions needed to fulfill a request.
Abstract: Techniques for an application interaction platform are described. In at least some implementations, an instance of a first application can initiate a launch of an instance of a second application. In a scenario where the second application is a multiuser application, the second application can be launched as either a multiuser instance or a single user instance depending on a launch context. Implementations also enable communication among applications, such as to enable applications to exchange state information and modify their execution based on the information.

Abstract: This disclosure describes an artificial reality system that presents artificial reality content in the context of a physical environment that includes a mirror or other reflective surface. In one example, this disclosure describes a method that includes capturing capture data representative of a physical environment, wherein the physical environment includes a reflective surface and a plurality of objects, determining a pose of the HMD, determining a map of the physical environment, wherein the map includes position information about the reflective surface and position information about each of the plurality of physical objects in the physical environment, identifying a visible object from among the plurality of physical objects, and generating artificial reality content associated with the visible object.

Abstract: A “dual” gaming unit or machine is configured to implement both one or more traditional casino-style wagering games, such as games having outcomes determined primarily by chance and not skill, and one or more games which are traditionally not casino style games, such as amusement-type games or games having amusement-type game components, such as games where the outcome is determined substantially by skill. The wagering game portion of the gaming machine may award monetary awards to the player for winning wagering game outcomes, and the amusement portion of the gaming machine may be used to award promotional prizes to the player. A player rewards system may include such dual gaming units or other award dispensing mechanisms.
Abstract: A virtual machine host may provide IPv4 connections to IPv4 virtual machine guests and map the connections to IPv6 networks. The IPv6 addressed exposed by the virtual machine host may be used in an IPv6 environment to communicate with the virtual machine guests, enabling various IPv6 connected scenarios for the IPv4 virtual machines. The virtual machine host may receive IPv6 communications, and translate those communications to IPv4 to communicate with the virtual machine guests. Similarly, the outbound IPv4 communications may be translated into IPv6 for communications to the IPv6 network.

Abstract: A system and method of adaptive video interface switching between a mobile electronic communications device and a wearable device entail determining during an ongoing video session via a first one of the devices that an audio or video input or output mechanism on the first device is compromised. It is determined that the audio and video input and output mechanisms on a second of the devices are uncompromised. The video session is then continued using at least one of the audio and video input and output mechanisms on the second device.

Abstract: Techniques are provided for managing storage device errors during processing of inflight input/output (I/O) operations. A storage control system (e.g., a software-defined storage system) receives an I/O write request which includes data to be written to at least one storage device of a plurality of storage devices managed by the storage control system, and commences a write operation to write the data to the at least one storage device. In response to a storage device I/O error resulting from a failure of the write operation associated with the at least one storage device, the storage control system accesses a logical storage device in a non-volatile system memory device, and writes the data to the logical storage device in the non-volatile system memory device to complete the failed write operation.

Abstract: Methods and systems are provided for adjusting noise, vibration, and harshness (NVH) limits for a vehicle based on an occupancy level of the vehicle. The occupancy level is inferred based on a number of occupants and their position within a vehicle, and further based on a degree of interaction of a primary occupant with vehicle controls. As the occupancy level decreases, NVH constraints for operating the vehicle are reduced and one or more vehicle operating parameters nay be based on the reduced NVH constraints.
Abstract: A device (e.g., an article of athletic gear) comprising a post-molded expandable component, which is a part of the device that is configured to be expanded or has been expanded after being molded. This may allow the post-molded expandable component to have enhanced characteristics (e.g., be more shock-absorbent, lighter, etc.), to be cost-effectively manufactured (e.g., by using less material and/or making it in various sizes), and/or to be customized for a user (e.g., by custom-fitting it to the user).

Abstract: Methods and systems for creating a memory recall composite for a face and name association image are described. A first image comprising at least a portion of a subject's face may be received. The first image may be analyzed to determine a set of facial features. A set of objects may be determined and displayed using a set of visual and auditory correspondence rules. An association between a graphical representation of the object and a facial feature may be received. A second image or a memory recall composite may be generated that displays at least a portion of the first image using the graphical representation of the object based in part on the association between the graphical representation of the object and the facial feature associated with the subject's face.
Abstract: Adaptable bracket assemblies may be used with a plurality of different slotted standards. The bracket assembly may include two tabs or teeth, three notches, and a fastening mechanism (such as a tightening screw). The depth and shape of the tabs or teeth may be provided to allow attachment of the bracket assembly to a plurality of different vertical slotted standards. Further, the dimensions of the bracket assembly may allow the bracket assembly to be used adaptably on any of a plurality of different vertical slotted standards (i.e., A line, B, line, C line) that may be installed in a retail environment. Thus, it is not necessary to procure different types of brackets depending on which slotted standard is being used within a retail environment.
Abstract: A wall brace system for providing an apparatus for supporting a wall in a building structure, which has been moved inward by pressure from the earth outside in order to return the wall to a desired position. The wall brace system has a structural member, a retainer, a mounting assembly, a load member, a jack, and/or a locking member. A jack and/or locking member are operatively coupled between the structural member and the mounting assembly. The jack functions to exert a force against the structural member, directly or through the load member, in order to force the structural member toward the wall for shifting the wall (e.g., outwardly). The locking member functions to lock the structural member in place with respect to the mounting assembly after the jack positions the structural member. Thereafter, the jack is removed from the mounting assembly.
