  • Patent number: 11142788
Abstract: The invention provides methods of isolating a target nucleic acid in a sample. A primer is hybridized to the target. A polymerase and modified nucleotide resistant to nuclease degradation are used to extend the primer to create a modified polynucleotide. The sample is exposed to a nuclease, thereby isolating the modified polynucleotide. Optionally, the target nucleic acid may be further protected by binding a protein in a sequence specific manner to one end of the target nucleic acid to create a protected target nucleic acid resistant to nuclease degradation. Thus, after exposing the sample to a nuclease, the modified polynucleotide and protected target nucleic acid are isolated.

  • Patent number: 11146327
Abstract: Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on a computer storage medium, for machine learning models for adjusting communication parameters. In some implementations, data for each terminal in a set of multiple satellite terminals is obtained. A machine learning model is trained based on the obtained data. The model can be trained to receive an indication of a geographic location and predict a satellite beam capable of providing at least a minimum level of efficiency for communication at the geographic location. After training the machine learning model, an indication of a predicted satellite beam for a particular location is generated for a particular geographic location. A determination is then made whether to change the current satellite beam for a terminal at the particular geographic location based on the predicted satellite beam.

  • Patent number: 11144377
Abstract: A computer program file or a sequence of processing steps from an authoring environment of a data processing system is used to generate a graph including nodes representing the processing steps is generated. Unique identifiers (tags) are assigned to the nodes. One or more processing steps are optionally modified while preserving the original identifiers. If an error occurs during execution, error information is saved including the processing step that failed and data records that triggered the failure. The identifier of the failed processing step is attached to the error information. The error information is collected and processed. The collected error information is used to correlate the error to the failed processing step and to data records triggering the error using the identifier of the failed processing step recorded with the error information. The correlated error information indicates cause and location of the error.

  • Patent number: 11144855
Abstract: A system and method for managing coverage of parking enforcement for a neighborhood with the aid of a digital computer is provided. A time-based active representational model of the city is created by fusing sensory data collected from various sources around a city with numerical data gleaned from historical and on-going activities, including parking regulation citation and warning numbers, resource allocations, and so on. The model can be used to form quantitative predictions of expected violations, revenue stream, and so forth, that can then be used as recommendations as to where to enforce and when, so as to maximize the utilization of the limited resources represented by the officers on the street. Moreover, the performance of the officers can be weighed against expectations of performance postulated from the quantitative predictions.
