  • Patent number: 11143513
Abstract: According to one embodiment, perception data describing a set of trajectories driven by a number of vehicles is received at a server from the vehicles or data collection agents over a network. The vehicles were driving through a road segment of a road over a period of time and their driving trajectories were captured. A trajectory analysis is the performed on the perception data using a set of rules to determine driving behaviors of the corresponding vehicles. A lane configuration of the road segment is then determined based on the driving behaviors. A map segment of a navigation map is then updated based on the lane configuration of one or more lanes within the road segment. A higher definition map can be generated based on the updates of the navigation map and the lane configuration, which can be utilized to autonomously drive an ADV subsequently.

  • Patent number: 11144675
Abstract: In particular embodiments, a sensitive data management system is configured to remove sensitive data after a period of non-use. Credentials used to access remote systems and/or third-party systems are stored with metadata that is updated with each use of the credentials. After a period of non-use, determined based on credential metadata, the credentials are deleted. Personal data retrieved to process a consumer request is stored with metadata that is updated with each use of the personal data. After a period of non-use, determined based on personal data metadata, the personal data is deleted. The personal data is also deleted if the system determines that the process or system that caused the personal data to be retrieved is no longer in use. An encrypted version of personal data may be stored for later use in verifying proper consumer request fulfillment.

  • Patent number: 11145299
Abstract: Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer-readable storage devices, for managing voice interface devices. In some implementations, messages are received from a plurality of devices, each of the messages indicating a respective voice input detected by the device that sent the message. Audio signatures are obtained for the voice inputs detected by the plurality of devices. The audio signatures for the voice inputs and times that the voice inputs were detected are evaluated. Based on the evaluation, at least some of the plurality of devices are grouped to form a group of multiple devices that detected a same user utterance. A device from the group is selected to respond to the user utterance, and the multiple devices in the group are managed so that only the selected device outputs a synthesized speech response to the user utterance.
