Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a thermal ablation probe device that integrates deployable sensors with a freezing probe or heating probe for use in ablating tissues. The ablation probe includes a longitudinal body including a thermal ablation energy source which may be, e.g., a cryosource or a heat source. The longitudinal body has a proximal end and a distal end terminating at a probe tip; and at least one deployable assembly disposed within the longitudinal body. The deployable assembly includes a flexible and substantially rigid deployment member, and at least one sensor affixed to a distal end of the deployment member. The ablation probe further includes a control mechanism for controlling deployment and retraction of the deployable assembly.
Abstract: The present invention relates to compositions comprising at least one fluoroolefin and an effective amount of stabilizer that may be an epoxide, fluorinated epoxide or oxetane, or a mixture thereof with other stabilizers. The stabilized compositions may be useful in cooling to apparatus, such as refrigeration, air-conditioning, chillers, and heat pumps, as well as in applications as foam blowing agents, solvents, aerosol propellants, fire extinguishants, and sterilants.

Abstract: A small cell base station includes a remote radio head that is configured for mounting on an aerial strand, a phased array antenna and a mechanical linkage. The phased array antenna is hung below the remote radio head via the mechanical linkage, and the mechanical linkage is configured to allow the phased array antenna to move relative to the remote radio head.
Abstract: A drilling machine is disclosed. The drilling machine may include a mast and a machine frame. The mast may include a mast frame, a movable drill head assembly, a first pivot aperture, and a plurality of first lock apertures each corresponding to a different drilling position of the mast. The machine frame may include an engine, a ground engaging assembly having an axle, and a mast coupling assembly having at least a pair of opposed legs, each leg including at least one plate. The at least one plate of each leg may include a second pivot aperture positioned to align with the first pivot aperture to pivotably couple the mast to each leg. The at least one plate may also include a second lock aperture positioned to align with each of the first lock apertures and receive a lock pin for locking the mast in a drilling position.
Abstract: Processors and methods for neural network processing are provided. A method in a processor including a pipeline having a matrix vector unit (MVU), a first multifunction unit connected to receive an input from the MVU, a second multifunction unit connected to receive an output from the first multifunction unit, and a third multifunction unit connected to receive an output from the second multifunction unit is provided. The method includes decoding instructions including a first type of instruction for processing by only the MVU and a second type of instruction for processing by only one of the multifunction units. The method includes mapping a first instruction for processing by the matrix vector unit or to any one of the first multifunction unit, the second multifunction unit, or the third multifunction unit depending on whether the first instruction is the first type of instruction or the second type of instruction.

Abstract: Paxos transactions are pipelined in a distributed database formed by a plurality of replica servers. A leader server is selected by consensus of the replicas, and receives a lock on leadership for an epoch. The leader gets Paxos log numbers for the current epoch, which are greater than the numbers allocated in previous epochs. The leader receives database write requests, and assigns a Paxos number to each request. The leader constructs a proposed transaction for each request, which includes the assigned Paxos number and incorporates the request. The leader transmits the proposed transactions to the replicas. Two or more write requests that access distinct objects in the database can proceed simultaneously. The leader commits a proposed transaction to the database after receiving a plurality of confirmations for the proposed transaction from the replicas. After all the Paxos numbers have been assigned, inter-epoch tasks are performed before beginning a subsequent epoch.
Abstract: A spray-on film forming composition is designed to work with another topical preparation, such as a conventional cosmetic foundation or skincare product. The film forming composition is in direct contact with the cosmetic or skincare product. The spray-on film forming composition may be applied underneath a topical preparation (as a primer), on top of a topical preparation (as a mask), or both, depending on the benefit conferred. The spray-on film forming compositions of the invention are able to improve wearability and removability, increase shine, and deliver active ingredients. They are very clear, flexible and comfortable.
Abstract: A method of arranging the transmission of packet data in a system comprising a mobile terminal, a wireless local network and a mobile network that includes end-to-end service related parameters that are signalled via a separate signalling element. A resource authorization identifier is transmitted to the mobile network via the local network. Authorization is requested from the signalling element on the basis of the resource authorization identifier. A tunnel between the mobile terminal and the mobile network is bound to the end-to-end data flow of the mobile terminal on the basis of an authorization from the signalling element and tunnel identification information identifying the tunnel.
