The sports towel system can be used by golfers and can be magnetically coupled to a golf cart or a golf club, for example. The universal coupler has a first and a second flap coupled to the pouch. The first flap has a first flap coupling element and the second flap has a second flap coupling element. The flap coupling elements are used to removably couple the universal coupler to the universal coupling device to attach the towel to the universal coupler.

Abstract: A gas separator for use in a wellbore. The separator has an annular, staged separator system, whereby a liquid-gas mixture is separated into its liquid and gas components. Gas components are allowed to escape up the annulus around the separator, while liquid components are captured on each stage and removed through an inner tube. The inner tube has limited entry ports. These ports may be sized such that ports at the top of the string have a smaller, more limited entry than those toward the bottom.

Abstract: Animal bedding, such as for a guinea pig, is disclosed. The animal bedding comprises a main section and a pocket. The main section includes a top layer, a middle layer, and a bottom layer. The top layer is hydrophobic, the middle layer is hydrophilic and at least a part of the bottom layer is hydrophobic. The top layer, the middle layer and the bottom layer are attached to one another, such as via stitching along a perimeter of the main section. Separately, the top layer and the middle layer are attached to one another, such as in an interior of the main section, to form quilting in the main section. The pocket, which is attached to the main section, allows the guinea pig to burrow therein.

Many members of a supply chain are entitled to accounts that are linked, each account being given limited access to other accounts, thereby allowing the customer to access the inspection information, and the grower, field, and packing information, by entering one of the trace codes into the web-based application. According to one exemplary embodiment, each of the purchase orders associated with the commodity lot is linked within the web-based application.

Abstract: A method includes detecting a read error during a first read operation by a read sensor on a first track on a data storage medium. The method also includes, after the read error is detected, performing a second read operation by the read sensor on the first track, carrying out bit error value (BEV) measurements for the second read operation, and determining, from the BEV measurements, whether the read sensor produces a marginal BEV, which is between first and second predetermined BEV thresholds. In response to determining that the read sensor produces the marginal BEV, a third read operation by the read sensor on the first track is carried out, and BEV measurements for the third read operation are performed. When the BEV measurements from the second and third read operations meet at least one predetermined read sensor instability criterion, it is concluded that the read sensor is unstable.

Abstract: System and method of dynamically balancing a rechargeable energy storage assembly having two or more respective units, a respective switch for each of the respective units and at least one sensor. The system includes a controller configured to control operation of the respective switch. The respective switch is configured to enable a respective circuit connection to the respective units when in an ON state and disable the respective circuit connection when in an OFF state. The respective units are characterized by a respective state of charge obtained based in part on the at least one sensor. A controller is configured to selectively employ at least one of a plurality of charging modes to charge one or more of the respective units, through operation of the respective switch. The plurality of charging modes includes a rest charging mode, a rapid initial charging mode and a rapid final charging mode.

Abstract: A moving target defense scheme for a serial communications system is disclosed herein. A bus controller generates and broadcasts a nonce to remote terminals over a bus. The bus controller and the remote terminals generate a randomized sequence based upon the nonce and a shared secret that is shared between the bus controller and the remote terminals. The bus controller broadcasts first messages over the bus on first addresses that are derived from first portions of the randomized sequence. The remote terminals listen for the first messages that are broadcast over the bus on the first addresses. The bus controller broadcasts a shift message that causes the remote terminals to listen for second messages that are broadcast over the bus on second addresses that are derived from second portions of the randomized sequence.
