Abstract: A memory-containing die includes a three-dimensional memory array, a memory dielectric material layer located on a first side of the three-dimensional memory array, and memory-side bonding pads. A logic die includes a peripheral circuitry configured to control operation of the three-dimensional memory array, logic dielectric material layers located on a first side of the peripheral circuitry, and logic-side bonding pads included in the logic dielectric material layers. The logic-side bonding pads includes a pad-level mesh structure electrically connected to a source power supply circuit within the peripheral circuitry and containing an array of discrete openings therethrough, and discrete logic-side bonding pads. The logic-side bonding pads are bonded to a respective one, or a respective subset, of the memory-side bonding pads. The pad-level mesh structure can be used as a component of a source power distribution network.

A visual indication for a current user target can move to a first target in response to a first input event at a first time, and the first target can be actuated in response to a second input event for actuation of the current user target at a second time. An obfuscation system is configured to present to a user, at approximately the second time, a discriminatory signal used to confirm actuation of a target. The discriminatory signal includes one of a haptic signal generated by a device in physical contact with the user, an audio signal, and a modified image.

Abstract: A computer implemented method for mining risks includes providing a set of risk-indicating patterns on a computing device; querying a corpus using the computing device to identify a set of potential risks by using a risk-identification-algorithm based, at least in part, on the set of risk-indicating patterns associated with the corpus; comparing the set of potential risks with the risk-indicating patterns to obtain a set of prerequisite risks; generating a signal representative of the set of prerequisite risks; and storing the signal representative of the set of prerequisite risks in an electronic memory. A computing device or system for mining risks includes an electronic memory; and a risk-identification-algorithm based, at least in part, on the set of risk-indicating patterns associated with a corpus stored in the electronic memory.

Abstract: A computer system includes a BMC and a host of the BMC. The BMC receives a first message from a first remote device on an existing out-of-band management network. The BMC determines whether the first message is directed to a storage service or fabric service running on the host, the host being a storage device. The storage service provides access to user data stored on one or more storage devices connected to the host via a storage network that is isolated from the management network. When the first message is directed to the storage service or fabric service: the BMC extracts a service command from the first message; the BMC sends, through a BMC communication channel to the host, a second message containing the service command to the host. The BMC communication channel has been established for communicating baseboard management commands between the BMC and the host.

Abstract: Methods and apparatus are provided for filtering dynamically loadable namespaces (DLNs). An exemplary method comprises, in response to a job submitted by an application, obtaining a DLN portion of a global single namespace of a file system, wherein the DLN is associated with the job and is maintained in a capacity tier of a storage system; obtaining filtering directives from a user; reducing the DLN using a filtering mechanism on a directory tree associated with the DLN, based on the filtering directives, by removing files in the directory tree of the DLN that do not satisfy requirements of the filtering directives to generate a filtered DLN; and dynamically loading the filtered DLN, including reduced metadata for the filtered DLN relative to the DLN, from the capacity tier into a performance tier of the storage system for processing by the application.

Abstract: A high resolution analog to digital converter (ADC) with improved bandwidth senses an analog signal (e.g., a load current) to generate a digital signal. The ADC operates based on a load voltage produced based on charging of an element (e.g., a capacitor) by a load current and a digital to analog converter (DAC) output current (e.g., from a N-bit DAC). The ADC generates a digital output signal representative of a difference between the load voltage and a reference voltage. This digital output signal is used directly, or after digital signal processing, to operate an N-bit DAC to generate a DAC output current that tracks the load current. In addition, quantization noise is subtracted from the digital output signal thereby extending the operational bandwidth of the ADC. In certain examples, the operational bandwidth of the ADC extends up to 100s of kHz (e.g., 200-300 kHz), or even higher.

Abstract: The primary objective of the present invention is to provide a composition solution for livestock water and feed which eliminates harmful bacteria and encourages consumption. In certain embodiments, this composition solution may also remove bacteria from produce, treat water flows, process oilfield wastewater, destroy taste and odor contaminants in potable and drinking water, remove destructive contaminants from a wide range of industries, and eliminate hazardous pollutants.

Abstract: Methods and apparatus are provided for determining an offset detection for a fuel level sensor fault. The method includes receiving an electrical resistance reading from a potentiometer of a fuel level sensor and generating an estimated fuel level based on an established fuel usage table that references the electrical resistance reading. The fuel level sensitivity is calculated based on the change in electrical resistance readings divided by the change in the estimated fuel levels (R/F). The fuel level sensitivity is compared to a predetermined sensitivity curve to determine any necessary offset to the electrical resistance reading. Finally, the fuel usage table is updated with the offset to the electrical resistance reading.

Abstract: A first data storage device and a second data storage device can be connected to a first remote host and a second remote host via a server as part of a distributed data network. The server may assign the first data storage device to administer a first virtualization for a first logical volume of the first remote host. A device controller of the data storage device can execute an operating system and then load at least one operating component in the first remote host as directed by the first device controller. The device controller can subsequently perform a first software application in the first remote host as part of the first virtualization.

The request is generated by the electric vehicle when a ratio of a remaining trip distance of the electric vehicle to a remaining expected range of the electric vehicle exceeds a threshold. The example method further includes identifying, via the processor, a location for the battery charge based on input from a user of the electric vehicle regarding a plurality of possible locations for the battery charge.
