Abstract: Performing patch reconciliation of storage nodes within a storage cluster is presented herein. A patch reconciliation component receives an upgrade patch request to upgrade a first version of an operating system (OS) on a data storage node of a data storage cluster to a second version of the OS that has been installed on another data storage node of the data storage cluster, the first version preceding the second version; and based on the upgrade patch request, determines a group of upgrade patches to apply to the first version of the OS to facilitate the upgrade, and applies the group of upgrade patches to the first version of the OS resulting in the upgrade of the first version of the OS to the second version of the OS, the group of upgrade patches comprising respective upgrade binary files for the first version of the OS.
Abstract: A first filter decision value is calculated for a block of pixels in a video frame based on pixel values of pixels in a first line of pixels in the block. A second filter decision value is also calculated for the block based on pixel values of pixels in a corresponding first line of pixels in a neighboring block in the video frame. The first filter decision value is used to determine how many pixels in a line of pixels in the block to filter relative to a block boundary between the block and the neighboring block. The second filter decision value is used to determine how many pixels in a corresponding line of pixels in the neighboring block to filter relative to the block boundary.
Abstract: A pressure jacket for use with a fluid injector includes a barrel having a distal end, a proximal end, and a sidewall extending between the distal end and the proximal end along a longitudinal axis. The pressure jacket includes at least one engagement member protruding from a terminal portion of the proximal end of the barrel in a proximal direction along the longitudinal axis. The at least one engagement member tapers axially in a direction from the distal end toward the proximal end of the barrel. The at least one engagement member engages with a locking mechanism on the fluid injector to releasably lock the pressure jacket with the fluid injector. A taper of the at least one engagement member rotationally guides the barrel into self-alignment with the locking mechanism and axially ejects the barrel upon rotation of the barrel about the longitudinal axis.

Abstract: An ophthalmic device includes an enclosure, an electromyography sensor, and a controller. The enclosure is configured to mount in or on an eye. The enclosure further includes a first material and a second material disposed within the first material. The electromyography sensor is adapted to measure electrical activity of a muscle of the eye proximate to a first annular region of the ophthalmic device when the ophthalmic device is mounted in or on the eye. The electromyography sensor includes a first electrode and a second electrode, each positioned within the first annular region between the first material and at least a portion of the second material. The controller, coupled to the electromyography sensor, stores instructions that when executed causes the ophthalmic device to perform operations including acquiring a first signal representative of the electrical activity of the muscle by measuring the electrical activity with the electromyography sensor.
Abstract: A frac plug system, downhole tool and method of securing a frac plug system in a wellbore in a formation. A mandrel includes a first end and a second end. A setting assembly is coupled to the mandrel at the first end, and an anchor is arranged at the second end of the mandrel and receptive to the setting assembly. The anchor is settable to engage the wellbore. A bottom sub is arranged at the second end of the mandrel and includes a first member movable relative to the mandrel. A gas generates a pressure to shift the first member along the mandrel to move the anchor against the setting assembly, securing the setting assembly in the wellbore via radial deployment of the anchor. The mandrel is separated from the bottom sub to leave the setting assembly and the anchor in the wellbore.

Abstract: A heart valve annulus repair device having a tissue engaging member and a plurality of anchors. The tissue engaging member includes a loop of wire. Each of the anchors has a pointy front end and a back end and a slot that runs in a front-to-back direction. The anchors are distributed about the loop of wire with the front ends of the plurality of anchors facing the heart valve annulus and with the loop of wire passing through the slots. The device further includes means for implanting the anchors into the heart valve annulus tissue so that the tissue engaging member becomes affixed to the heart valve annulus.

According to one embodiment, a mobile gaming system can concern gaming/betting opportunities that can be secured using a portable electronic device even when an individual is located in a location where betting or games of chance are not permitted. According to another embodiment, a mobile gaming system can concern an application program operating on a portable electronic device that supports multiple modes of operation depending upon whether the portable electronic device is in a location where betting or games of chance are permitted.
