Abstract: A valve body for a shower, a bathtub, or a shower-bathtub installations. The valve body includes nipples for direct connection to PEX water supply lines and the shower head outlet, a bathtub faucet tapered nipple which is a universal outlet with male NPT threads to which a copper line can either be threaded, soldered or a slip or friction fit with a hose retainer clip and hot and cold adjustable limiters and standoffs on the rear side for installation of the valve body to a backer board. The standoff lug spacer means provide for precise spacing of the plumbing connections within the wall with respect to the front surface of the wall board. The standoffs also provide clearance between the plumbing connections and the backer board. The valve body accepts various back to back functional type pressure balanced cartridges for control of water flow through the faucet.

Abstract: In certain embodiments, one or more images of an object may be received from a device associated with a first account on a communications network. Features of the object may be extracted based on the one or more images, and one or more content items related to the object may be determined based on the features. A hashtag associated with at least one of the features may be determined. A second account connected to the first account may be selected where the second account previously performed a search for the hashtag on the communications network, and at least one of the one or more content items may be provided to the second account.
Abstract: In some examples, a system identifies, for a given authentication event between a plurality of devices in a network, a context comprising a set of authentication events that are temporally related to the given authentication event. The set of authentication events occur at the devices. A classifier is applied on a collection of features associated with the set of authentication events, the collection of features comprising a number of machines or a number of users associated with the set of authentication events. The system determines, based on an output of the classifier, whether the given authentication event is an unauthorized authentication event.
Abstract: A method is described as implemented in a mobile device having a lock screen wallpaper, where the mobile device maintains a profile storing authentication data associated with both a primary user of a mobile device and one or more secondary users that are authorized to use the mobile device. When the mobile device is at a business location, the secondary user(s) are non-intrusively authenticated as authorized user(s) of the mobile device. Upon successful authentication a scanning code is displayed over a lock screen wallpaper of the mobile device, where power is conserved in the mobile device by providing the scanning code to the secondary user(s) without unlocking the mobile device.
Abstract: A device that comprises a plurality of distributed transceivers, a central processor and a network management engine may be configured to function as relay device, relaying an input data stream from a source device to at least one other device. The relaying may include configuring one or more of the plurality of distributed transceivers to particular mode of relay operation and receiving the input data stream from the source device via at least one of the configured one or more of the plurality of distributed transceivers. The relaying may also include transmitting at least one relay data stream corresponding to the input data stream to the at least one other device, via at least one of the configured one or more of the plurality of distributed transceivers.
Abstract: The present invention provides a color coded polymeric ammunition cartridge comprising: a polymeric bullet-end upper portion comprising a first polymer composition, connected to a polymeric middle body comprising a second polymer composition, wherein the first polymer composition, the second polymer composition or both comprise one or more pigments to provide an indicia.
Abstract: A backup storage includes a persistent storage and a backup manager. The persistent storage stores backups of entities and a global application data map. The backup manager obtains a restoration request for restoration of an application hosted by an entity of the entities; makes a determination to accelerate the restoration based, at least in part, on the application; in response to the determination: identifies a virtual disk level backup of the entity that is associated with the application using the global application data map; obtains the virtual disk level backup from the backups of the entities; and restores the application using the virtual disk level backup.
Abstract: A system, apparatus and method manages a product inventory of two or more vendors. A demand for each product at each vendor is determined based on a product utilization data stored in one or more databases. One or more product transfers are generated based on the demand for each product at each vendor and a product inventory data stored in the one or more databases. The one or more product transfers are bundled together by vendor-to-vendor pairings. Each transfer bundle is provided to the vendors identified in the transfer bundles. An approval, a modification or a denial is received for each transfer bundle from the vendors identified in the transfer bundles. One or more transfer orders are created for the transfer bundles that are approved and modified.

Abstract: A first method includes receiving a first reflected radar signal from a target in a first field of view and receiving a second reflected radar signal from a target in a second field of view offset from the first field of view by a predetermined distance; transforming the first and second reflected radar signals to obtain first and second sets of frequency coefficients, from which a frequency-dependent phase difference is obtained; and calculating a time-delay from the slope of the frequency dependence. A second method includes obtaining summed difference values between the first and second radar responses, where each of the summed difference values corresponds to different time shifts between the first and second radar response, and deriving from the summed difference values a time-delay associated with the target's motion from the first field of view to the second field of view. A third method combines the time-delays or associated speeds obtained from independent estimators.

Abstract: A medication dispensing system is provided with several cooperating components which help to accommodate the responsible handling of medications. These systems include a user interface to receive input from the user and to present appropriate information/notices/alarms. Further, physical controls and multiple sensors are provided to detect tampering, misuse, and attempts to inappropriately access medications contained within the dispensing system. This misuse can thus be detected, and appropriate notifications can be provided, where appropriate. Further, by adding network communications capabilities, notices can be widely communicated to others, and operation of the medication dispensing system can be controlled and/or monitored remotely.
Abstract: Using inductive currents to wirelessly charge a device via a device connected to a power source. This inductive charging may result when a first mobile device recognizes a second mobile device via a wireless connection (e.g., Bluetooth, Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE), Near-Field Communication (NFC), or the like). An application stored on the first mobile device may recognize a second mobile device by transmitting an advertising packet when the first mobile device is connected to a power source. An advertising packet may be received by the second mobile device and the second mobile device may transmit a response to the advertising packet in order to generate a connection between the first and second mobile devices. The response may include data such as, connection strength, response time, connection preferences, and the like. Upon detection and connection, the second mobile device may be wirelessly charged by the first device via inductive charging.

Abstract: A semiconductor material emitting device is positioned such that its output flux impinges on a substrate at a non-perpendicular angle, so as to grow a first epilayer which is linearly graded in the direction perpendicular to the growth direction. The linear grading can be arranged such that, for example, each row of pixels has a different cutoff wavelength, thereby making it possible to provide a spectroscopic FPA without the use of filters. The non-perpendicular angle and/or the flux intensity can be adjusted to achieve a desired compositional grading. A spectral ellipsometer may be used to monitor the composition of the epilayer during the fabrication process, and to control the intensity of the flux.
