  • Patent number: 11115894
Abstract: In aspects of managing FTM frames of WLAN RTT bursts, a device can receive a WLAN RTT burst, such as initiated by a device application, device firmware, or received as a RTT ranging request. The device implements a status module that interposes the routing of the ranging request in the device, and determines a device state of the device with a device state monitor of the status module. The status module is implemented to drop the ranging request if the device is an idle device state such that the ranging request is extraneous. Alternatively, the status module is implemented to reduce a number of FTM frames in the ranging request based on the device state indicating that multiple FTM frames of the ranging request are extraneous, and then route to perform the ranging request of the WLAN RTT burst with the reduced number of FTM frames in the ranging request.

  • Patent number: 11110007
Abstract: In an ophthalmic laser procedure, a lenticule is formed in the cornea and extracted from the cornea to accomplish vision correction. The ophthalmic laser system is used to form top and bottom lenticule incisions which intersect each other to form an isolated volume of corneal tissue in between. The volume of tissue includes a lenticular portion having a circular or oval shape and a side tab that protrudes from the peripheral of the lenticular portion. The side tab has a radial dimension between 0.5 and 5 mm and a width between 0.5 and 3 mm in. An entry cut is further formed from the anterior corneal surface to the top or bottom lenticule incisions to provide access to the lenticule. • Patent number: 11113773
Abstract: Implementations of systems and methods according to present principles provide new ways to share digital objects in computing environments, improving the user experience and also enhancing communication and relationships among people. The “sharings” can occur as a transfer of an object from one user to another or the transfer of the object into an environment (or vice versa). In one example, a user in a game designs and builds a digital object for a tower and then sells the tower in the game. The tower becomes popular and is used by many other players of the game, including as a part of their own constructions, and also begins to appear in system-generated structures. The creator of the original tower, as well as creators of components constituting the tower, may be provided with compensation for their efforts from such sales of subsequent towers or constructions using such towers.

  • Patent number: 11113906
Abstract: Predictive maintenance and diagnostics for an electronic module of an autonomous vehicle using modular condition monitoring is described herein. A computing system receives a signal from a data logger which monitors a condition of the electronic module of the autonomous vehicle, wherein the signal is indicative of damage accumulation information thereof. The computing system identifies a type of the electronic module and a damage accumulation threshold for the type of the electronic module to generate a predicted maintenance schedule for the electronic module of the autonomous vehicle. The damage accumulation information can be stored in a data store to define the damage accumulation threshold for the type of the electronic module.

  • Patent number: 11115423
Abstract: Techniques described herein provide multi-factor authentication based on positioning data. Generally described, configurations disclosed herein enable a system to authorize a particular action using positioning data, and possibly other data, associated with an identity. For example, when a user wishes to change a password or access a secured account, the system can authenticate a user if a device associated with the user is located in the secure area. The system can authenticate a user if a requested operation and/or a predetermined pattern of movement associated with the user is detected. For instance, the system allows the user to change the password when the user's computer has followed a predetermined pattern of movement, and when one or more verification procedures meets one or more criteria while the location of the computing device is within the predetermined area.

  • Patent number: 11116010
Abstract: Disclosed herein are systems and methods for enhancing wireless message throughput at high traffic density and high interference rates, by use of a managed message transmission protocol in which the base station instructs each node to transmit or retransmit a DAT message. For example, the base station may determine which node has experienced the most delays and may grant that node permission to transmit immediately, while instructing other nodes to wait their turn. Protocols can provide, under control of the base station, prompt mitigation and message completion after messages are corrupted by interference. The average delays, collision rate, and failure rate may be substantially reduced while the success rate and uniformity of access may be substantially improved. The managed transmission protocols can be incorporated in current and planned systems by software updates at low cost, while retaining the ability to receive and process messages from legacy nodes transparently, according to some embodiments.
