  • Patent number: 11113309
Abstract: A device may receive information for an attribute to include in a shared attribute library. The information may include an attribute identifier, data variables needed to compute a value of the attribute, and source code for computing the value of the attribute. The source code may be written in a first programming language. The device may receive a first request to compute the value of the attribute based on a first set of data variables from a first type of data application and a second request to compute the value of the attribute based on a second set of data variables from a second type of data application that is different than the first type of data application. The device may select a computing server, which may execute the first programming language, to compute the value of the attribute based on the first and second sets of data variables.

Abstract: A multi-layer pre-drape apparatus is applied to a patient before the patient is moved into the operating room. The multi-layer pre-drape apparatus includes a lower layer with a center aperture and an upper layer that covers the aperture. The multi-layer pre-drape apparatus can be placed on a sterilized area of the patient to maintain the cleanliness of the incision area. Alternatively, the multi-layer pre-drape apparatus can be placed on the patient and sterilization fluid can be applied to the skin of the patient through the aperture. The patient can then be moved into the operating room and the upper layer of the multi-layer pre-drape can be removed to expose the sterilized area of the patient in the aperture. Additional drapes can be added to the pre-drape apparatus.

  • Patent number: 11112449
Abstract: A flexible monitoring system and corresponding methods of use are provided. The system can include a base containing backplane, and one or more circuits communicatively coupled to the backplane. The circuits can be designed with a common architecture that is programmable to perform different predetermined functions, such as input, output, and processing. By separating functions of the flexible monitoring system into different circuits, new implementations of the flexible monitoring system can be rapidly developed by arranging already created components in different combinations. Multiple bases can also be communicatively coupled in a manner that establishes a common backplane between respective bases. Accordingly, implementations of the flexible monitoring system distribute combinations of circuits across different bases, providing flexible deployment options.

  • Patent number: 11115106
Abstract: Monitoring a MIMO pairing efficiency of a sector to determine whether or not to enable/disable inter-band carrier aggregation. If the pairing efficiency (whether predicted or actual) is high, inter-band carrier aggregation is disabled, and if the pairing efficiency is low, then inter-band carrier aggregation is enabled. The inter-band carrier aggregation utilizes a low-frequency carrier as a primary component carrier and a high-frequency carrier as a secondary component carrier. The MIMO mode of operation utilizes the high-frequency carrier for control transmissions.

  • Patent number: 11111610
Abstract: Methods for forming composite articles include providing a non-crimp fabric (NCF) comprising a plurality of fiber plies maintained in a layup by stitching, wherein the stitching exhibits a lower structural tolerance to heat and/or UV light relative to the fiber plies, selectively degrading the stitching in one or more areas using heat or UV light, draping the NCF on a contoured article, applying a polymer matrix material to the draped NCF, and curing the polymer matrix material to form a contoured composite article. The stitching can be degraded in regions of the NCF which, when draped on the contoured article, correspond to topological features of the contoured article. Degrading the stitching can comprise breaking the stitching. The fiber plies can comprise carbon fibers, glass fibers, and/or basalt fibers. The contoured article can be tooling and/or an automotive component. The NCF can be a bi-axial NCF.
