Abstract: Apparatus and methods are disclosed for implementing incremental schedulers for out-of-order block-based processors, including field programmable gate array implementations. In one example of the disclosed technology, a processor includes an instruction scheduler formed by configuring one or more look up table RAMs to store ready state data for a plurality of instructions in an instruction block. The instruction scheduler further includes a plurality of queues that store ready state data for the processor and sends dependency information to ready determination logic on a first in/first out basis. The instruction scheduler selects one or more of the ready instructions to be issued and executed by the block-based processor.
Abstract: Metal compound chemically anchored colloidal particles wherein the metal compound is in molecular form are disclosed. A facile and fast process to chemically anchor metal compounds uniformly onto colloidal particle surfaces via chemical bonding has been developed. Metal compounds are chemically anchored to the surface of colloidal particles via an organic linking agent. Uniformly distributed metal compounds remain in molecular form after the process. The metal compound chemically anchored colloidal particles can be used as solid catalyst in metal chemical-mechanical planarization process.

The base includes at least one sidewall having an outer surface, an inner surface, and an edge defining an open end of a cavity within the base. The base also includes a plurality of ribs extending from the inner surface of the at least one sidewall toward the open end of the cavity. The ribs of the plurality of ribs are separated from one another along the first direction. The base further includes at least one tube extending from the inner surface of the at least one sidewall toward the open end of the cavity. Abstract: A method for execution by a query processing system includes determining a first set of query rules for first data received from a first data provider and to determine a second set of query rules for second data received from a second data provider. A query received from a requesting entity is determined to involve at least one query function that accesses a subset of the first data. Compliance data is generated by determining whether the query complies with the first set of query rules. When the compliance data indicates the query complies with the first set of query rules, a query result is for the query based on execution of the query, and the query result is transmitted to the requesting entity. The query result is not transmitted to the requesting entity when the compliance data indicates the query does not comply with the first set of query rules.

Abstract: A method and apparatus for testing blowout preventers for leaks involves maintaining a constant pressure in the portion of the blowout preventer to be tested. A sensor is connected to a controller for maintaining a constant pressure within the blowout preventer. Any amount of fluid introduced into or removed from the blowout preventer in order to maintain constant pressure is measured and is an indication of the leak rate in the blowout preventer. Additionally vibration instrumentation may be used to detect the location and amplitude of vibrations emitted by the test fluid passing from a high pressure regime to the low pressure regime across a leak path.

Abstract: Systems, apparatuses, and methods are described for routing messages in a network. Gateways may be selectively chosen to forward messages from a user device to a network server. Gateways may forward messages based on forwarding priorities for the user device. The forwarding priorities may, for example, indicate a repeat count threshold for a quantity of times the gateway may receive a message from a particular user device before the gateway forwards the message.

Abstract: An agent application executing on a client device retrieves an execute command from a command queue managed by a server and retrieves certificates and configuration settings for establishing a virtual private network (VPN) connection. An enrollment application resident on the client device executes in response to the execute command to modify a network setting of a network interface card (NIC) of the client device and establish a VPN connection with a domain controller located within the corporate domain using the certificate and configuration settings. The enrollment application further transmits a request over the VPN connection to the domain controller to join the corporate domain, wherein a corporate account in a directory service is established for the client device; reverts back to the prior network setting of the NIC and terminates the VPN connection and reboots the client device.
Abstract: Head-worn computers with eye-imaging systems include a camera system positioned in a head-worn computer, wherein the camera system is further positioned to capture eye-image light that originates as reflections from a user's eye, wherein the camera system is further positioned to capture eye-image light as a reflection from a partially reflective surface that is positioned in front of an image display in the head-worn computer, wherein image light, from the image display, is transmitted through the partially reflective surface. A processor is adapted to cause the camera system to capture the eye-image light. The processor is further adapted to cause a comparison of the captured eye-image light with a pre-stored eye image of a known user of the head-worn computer. In the event the comparison confirms the identity of the known user, the user is granted permission to view content to be presented in a display of the head-worn computer.
