Abstract: Examples described herein generally relate to indicating resource utilization by a graphics processing unit (GPU). Data indicating a hierarchy of architectural units for executing processing threads on a GPU can be obtained. An indication of a slot assigned to a collection of threads for executing on the GPU can be received, where the slot is associated with a single instruction multiple data (SIMD) module capable of concurrently executing multiple collections of threads. An architectural unit to which the slot is assigned can be determined based on the data indicating the hierarchy of architectural units. An indication of the architectural unit as executing the collection of threads can be outputted.

Abstract: A 3D printable feedstock ink is disclosed for use in a 3D printing process where the ink is flowed through a printing nozzle. The ink may be made up of a non-conductive flowable material and a plurality of chiplets contained in the non-conductive flowable material in random orientations. The chiplets may form a plurality of percolating chiplet networks within the non-conductive flowable material as ones of the chiplets contact one another. Each one of the chiplets has a predetermined circuit characteristic which is responsive to a predetermined electrical signal, and which becomes electrically conductive when the predetermined electrical signal is applied to the ink, to thus form at least one conductive signal path through the ink.

Abstract: Described herein are methods and kits for detecting the presence or absence of gene dysregulations such as those arising from gene fusions and/or chromosomal abnormalities, e.g. translocations, insertions, inversions and deletions. The methods, compositions and kits are useful for detecting mutations that cause the differential expression of a 5? portion of a target gene relative to the 3? region of the target gene. The average expression of the 5? portion of the target gene is compared with the average expression of the 3? portion of the target gene to determine an intragenic differential expression (IDE). The IDE can then be used to determine if a dysregulation or a particular disease (or susceptibility to a disease) is present or absent in a subject or sample.
Abstract: The present invention is directed to methods of producing THC from CBD utilizing non-harsh methodology and resulting in substantially increased yields, as well as devices built upon these novel methods. The methods and devices are material efficient, and in certain embodiments, solvent-free. In particular, in certain embodiments, these methods and related devices are suitable for commercial production of THC from CBD. Furthermore, in certain embodiments, the present invention provides methods of producing THC from CBD in manner that affords tunability to select the ratio of THC-8 to THC-9.
Abstract: An electronic device and corresponding method includes capturing, with one or more sensors, at least one authentication input from a person in the environment of the electronic device. One or more processors of the electronic device can then compare the captured authentication input with one or more authentication references to determine whether the person is an authorized user of the electronic device. Where the person is, the one or more processors can grant limited operational access to the electronic device. Thereafter, when additional authentication inputs are captured and sufficiently match additional authentication references, additional operation access can be granted.

Abstract: Described herein is a system and method for sharing an AR game within a shared coordinate space created between devices with initially disjoint relative coordinate spaces. Once the shared coordinate space is created, an AR video game can provide a first mode in which the users engage in game play action that have consequences according to pre-established game rules. The AR video game can provide a second mode (“sandbox mode”) in which users engage in non-destructive game play actions that do not have consequences once the second mode has been terminated. Further described herein is a system and method of using geolocation information within an AR session in which a virtual action can be initiated by a user that causes a corresponding virtual action to be displayed on a map of a virtual environment that parallels a physical environment displayed on a user gaming device of another user.

Abstract: Disclosed herein are methods, systems, and processes to improve application performance in replication environments. In one embodiment, first application input/output (I/O) throughput and second application I/O throughput are associated with a data volume and are both sampled, with the first application I/O throughput being sampled while the data volume is set to an asynchronous write acknowledgement mode and the second application I/O throughput being sampled while the data volume is set to a synchronous write acknowledgement mode. A determination is made as to whether the asynchronous write acknowledgement mode or the synchronous write acknowledgement mode provides a higher application I/O throughput for the data volume. The data volume is then set to a preferred write acknowledgement mode that is selected, based on a result of the determining, from the asynchronous write acknowledgement mode and the synchronous write acknowledgement mode, and in certain embodiments, a mixed write acknowledgement mode.
Abstract: Systems, apparatuses, and methods are described for determining a notification based on device properties. A device identification database may associate device identifications with device properties. A device identification associated with a device may be received, and corresponding device properties may be determined. Based on the device properties, a notification may be determined and sent.
Abstract: Systems, methods and devices relating to a network-accessible data storage device comprising a network interface in data communication with a network, the network interface for receiving and sending data units, the data units being assigned to at least one of a plurality of network data queues depending on at least one data unit characteristic; a data storage component communicatively coupled with the network interface, the data storage component comprising a plurality of data storage resources for receiving and responding to data transactions communicated in data units; and a queue mapping component for mapping each network data queues to at least one data storage resource for processing of data transactions.
Abstract: Techniques for modelling a radio network in a geographic region utilizing shared spectra are disclosed. Population data is obtained for the geographic region. A number of radios per channel in the geographic region, N?, is determined. Candidate geographic location for radios in the geographic region are determined. For every channel in the shared spectra, at least one of a static dataset and a dynamic dataset is determined. At least one set of output data, that is a statistical characterization of the radio network, is generated using at least one of the static dataset and the dynamic dataset, to aid in design of the radio network.
