Abstract: In some implementations, methods and apparatuses herein relate to generating shared memory spaces that can share files or applications between users and between user devices. For example, a processor can allocate a first portion of a memory of a client device to serve as a shared memory space for at least one dynamic application object, and instantiating a user interface on a display associated with the client device. The user interface can be based on a content of the shared memory space and representing the at least one dynamic application object. A processor can define access rights for a user of a second electronic device for receiving a copy of the instantiated user interface. The processor can define user rights for the user for use of the at least one dynamic application object with the second electronic device. The at least one dynamic application object can be a data file or a live user experience.

Abstract: Aspects of the subject disclosure may include, for example, a device that facilitates sharing, by a mobile phone user, content that the user has viewed on a television coupled to a media processor. A message is initiated via a messaging client of the mobile phone, and a video clip is obtained by the mobile phone from the media processor. Additional video content provided at the mobile phone is attached to the video clip. The format of the video clip is converted to enable presentation of the converted video clip at a recipient device; the converted video clip is transmitted to the recipient device via the messaging client. The media processor and the mobile phone form a natively integrated device, so that a video clip of the content can be produced and transmitted without installation of an application on the mobile phone.

Abstract: A projection screen including a capacitive touch panel, such as a projected capacitive touch panel. The touch panel includes first and second glass substrates, one of which is patterned (e.g., etched with acid or the like) to form a diffuser. A conductive coating is formed on the patterned surface of the diffuser glass substrate, and is patterned into a plurality of electrodes for the touch panel. The system, including an optional projector, may be used as an interactive transparent display for augmented reality applications such as storefronts. Information is geolocated based upon the respective positions of the disparate Nodes. A user interface may provide a pictorial view of positions of all or some Nodes in an array, as well as associated information.

In some embodiments, a network node in a first network might receive, via a first network access device in a second network, a request from a user device to establish roaming network access, and might authenticate a user associated with the user device, the user being unassociated with the first network access device. Based on a determination that the user is authorized to access data, content, profiles, and/or software applications that are accessible via a second network access device, the network node might establish a secure private connection through a hypervisor or container communicatively coupled to the first network access device to provide the user with access to her data, content, profiles, and/or software applications.

Abstract: A method for transferring digital content items in a peer-to-peer network in which a plurality of nodes participate includes receiving requests for receipt of one or more digital content items from a plurality of requesting nodes belonging to the peer-to-peer network. A capacity of the requesting nodes to upload data is assessed. Network resources available to the peer-to-peer network for delivering the digital content items or chunks thereof to the receiving nodes are allocated based at least in part on the capacity of the requesting nodes to upload data. The digital content items or chunks thereof are sent to the requesting nodes over the peer-to-peer network in accordance with the network resources that are allocated to each of the requesting nodes.

Abstract: A configuration is implemented by which, in a case where delivery time periods of transmission contents through different channels overlap with each other, a reception apparatus can select an acquisition target on the basis of priority information. A transmission apparatus sets, for each of transmission contents, service selection priority information (Service Selection Priority) capable of being utilized as a cache process priority criterion in the reception apparatus, and transmits the service selection priority information to the reception apparatus. An example apparatus disclosed herein monitor wireless traffic includes an example traffic monitor to identify a connection of a WI-FI client to a primary access point and capture a management frame transmitted from the primary access point to the WI-FI client. The example apparatus further includes an example frame generator to insert a change channel announcement into the captured management frame and a router to cause a wireless interface to transmit the beacon frame to the WI-FI client.

Abstract: Endophytic microbial strains as biocatalysts isolated from fresh plant samples, compositions, and methods of use thereof to enhance the growth and/or yield of a plant in the presence of reduced synthetic phosphate fertilizers are provided. Endophytic microbial strains serve as biocatalysts to solubilize mineral-P and mineralize organic-P otherwise unavailable to plants for their nutritional phosphate needs. Thus defined, biocatalysts, will serve to replace synthetic phosphate fertilizers. Also provided are materials and methods for inoculating plants with these biocatalysts at carefully selected inoculum densities to reliably reduce the amount of synthetic phosphate fertilizer by 50% thus accomplishing obtaining optimal yields in technically and cost-effective manner.
