  • Patent number: 11091922
Abstract: Composite precast concrete panels are described herein having have an anchor that distributes forces imposed on the anchor through concrete wythes of the panels. Specifically, pins can be embedded in at least one concrete wythe, and then the anchor is secured to the wythe as described herein. The anchor extends through another Wythe to selectively connect to a hoist system that moves and places the composite precast concrete panel. The forces imposed on the anchor are distributed through the pins and into multiple concrete wythes to prevent failure of the composite precast concrete panels and improve safety.

  • Patent number: 11095572
Abstract: Systems and methods which facilitate access to computing resources by cloud-based applications are described. Embodiments enable cloud-based applications to provide output to and/or obtain input from computing resources, such as printers, scales, scanners, and storage devices, for performing various functions. In operation according to embodiments, a user agent client application is executed by computing equipment in communication with a computing resource to which access is to be provided to one or more cloud-based applications. Although embodiments implement a user interface client application which is separate from a user agent client application, tight integration between a user interface client application and user agent client application may be provided. Embodiments not only facilitate operation whereby a cloud-based application is enabled to provide output to and/or obtain input from computing resources, but also facilitate remote and/or shared client interaction with such computing resources.

  • Patent number: 11092671
Abstract: A lidar system includes a laser diode to provide a frequency modulated continuous wave (FMCW) signal, and a current source to provide a drive signal that modulates the laser diode. The current source is controlled to pre-distort the drive signal to provide a linear FMCW signal. The lidar system also includes a splitter to split the FMCW signal into an output signal and a local oscillator (LO) signal, a transmit coupler to transmit the output signal, a receive coupler to obtain a received signal based on reflection of the output signal by a target, and a combiner to combine the received signal with the LO signal into first and second combined signals. A first and second photodetector respectively receive the first and second combined signals and output first and second electrical signals from which a beat signal that indicates the pre-distortion needed for the drive signal is obtained.

  • Patent number: 11093378
Abstract: Techniques for monitoring operating statuses of an application and its dependencies are provided. A monitoring application may collect and report the operating status of the monitored application and each dependency. Through use of existing monitoring interfaces, the monitoring application can collect operating status without requiring modification of the underlying monitored application or dependencies. The monitoring application may determine a problem service that is a root cause of an unhealthy state of the monitored application. Dependency analyzer and discovery crawler techniques may automatically configure and update the monitoring application. Machine learning techniques may be used to determine patterns of performance based on system state information associated with performance events and provide health reports relative to a baseline status of the monitored application. Also provided are techniques for testing a response of the monitored application through modifications to API calls.

  • Patent number: 11093510
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to processing operations configured to identify and present productivity features that are contextually relevant for user access to an electronic document. In doing so, signal data is evaluated to determine a context associated with user access to an electronic document and insights, from the determined context, are utilized to rank productivity features for relevance to a user workflow. As an example, an intelligent learning model is trained and implemented to identify what productivity features are most relevant to a current task of a user. Productivity features are identified and ranked for contextual relevance. A notification comprising one or more ranked productivity features is presented to a user. In one example, the notification is presented through a user interface of an application/service. For instance, a user interface pane is surfaced to present suggestions.

  • Patent number: 11091055
Abstract: Presented are vehicle charging systems and control logic for provisioning vehicle grid integration (VGI) activities, methods for making/using such charging systems, and electric-drive vehicles with intelligent vehicle charging and VGI capabilities. A method of controlling charging operations of electric-drive vehicles includes a vehicle controller detecting if a vehicle is coupled to an electric vehicle supply equipment (EVSE), and determining if the vehicle's current mileage exceeds a calibrated mileage threshold. Responsive to the vehicle being connected to the EVSE and the vehicle's current mileage exceeding the calibrated mileage threshold, the controller determines the current remaining life of the vehicle's traction battery pack and the current time in service of the vehicle. The vehicle controller determines if the current remaining battery life exceeds a predicted remaining battery life corresponding to the current time in service.

  • Patent number: 11092382
Abstract: A dual fluid heat exchange system is presented that provides a stable output temperature for a heated fluid while minimizing the output temperature of a cooled fluid. The heated and cooled fluids are brought into thermal contact with each other within a tank. The output temperature of the warmed fluid is maintained at a stable temperature by a re-circulation loop that connects directly to the mid portion of the tank such that the re-circulated fluid flow primarily warms only a re-circulation section of the tank. The other, lower flow rate, section of the tank may be positioned so that it has a cooler temperature and thus serves to increase the efficiency of the heat exchange by extracting extra heat energy out of the cooled fluid before it leaves the tank. Alternatively, the low flow rate section of the tank may be warmer than the re-circulated section, and thus allow the re-circulated section to be cooler than the output temperature of the warmed fluid.
