  • Patent number: 11070874
Abstract: Example methods and apparatus to verify presentation of media content are disclosed. A disclosed example apparatus for generating media presentation information includes a comparator to periodically output a value indicative of whether media selected via a set-top box is presented at a media presentation location by comparing a first audio signal associated with the media to ambient audio received in the media presentation location via an audio system associated with a media presentation device. The example apparatus also includes a privacy protector to facilitate operation of the comparator by periodically preventing the comparator from receiving of the ambient audio. The example apparatus also includes a metering module to record presentation of the media based on the output.

  • Patent number: 11065992
Abstract: An armrest for a motor vehicle has a housing body and an arm support fitted pivotably on the housing body. A rotatably mounted bolt is provided on the arm support with a bolt tongue which, in a locking position, interacts with a striker plate on the housing body, as a result of which a pivoting of the arm support away from the housing body is blocked. A U-shaped support bracket is fitted on the arm support and has, upon application of a force for pivoting of the arm support away from the housing body in the locking position of the bolt, contact with the bolt tongue on the side which faces away from the arm support. A support force is thus exerted in the direction of the arm support on the bolt. The support bracket in the locking position of the bolt, engages around at least the bolt tongue.

  • Patent number: 11066014
Abstract: Systems and methods for receiving a video feed from a trailer control module disposed in a vehicle trailer are described. One method includes aggregating a trailer front view, a trailer rear view, a trailer left view, and a trailer right view into an aggregated birds-eye view at a first control module disposed on the trailer, and sending the aggregated view to a vehicle towing the trailer via a single auxiliary video channel integrated into a trailer hitch wiring harness. The method further includes receiving the feed of the birds-eye view at the second control module disposed in the vehicle via the single auxiliary camera input channel, and displaying the trailer birds-eye view video feed at an output display disposed in a cabin of the towing vehicle. The birds-eye view may be output on a split screen in conjunction with a rear-view of the trailer, obtained from a vehicle camera system.

  • Patent number: 11068304
Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed for intelligent scheduling of calls to sales leads, leveraging machine learning (ML) to optimize expected results. One exemplary method includes determining, using a connectivity prediction model, call connectivity rate predictions; determining timeslot resources; allocating, based at least on the call connectivity rate predictions and timeslot resources, leads to timeslots in a first time period; determining, within a timeslot and using a lead scoring model, lead prioritization among leads within the timeslot; configuring, based at least on the lead prioritization, the telephone unit with lead information for placing a phone call; and applying a contextual bandit (ML) process to update the connectivity prediction model, the lead scoring model, or both. During subsequent time periods, the updated connectivity prediction and lead scoring models are used, thereby improving expected results over time.

  • Patent number: 11066186
Abstract: A landing pad receives and stores packages delivered from an aerial vehicle and awaiting pickup from an aerial vehicle. The landing pad can be placed outside of a window and can contain a transmitter for sending out an identification signal via radio frequency to aid aerial vehicles in finding the landing pad. The landing pad contains a landing platform with a trapdoor that leads to a storage compartment. The trapdoor can be configured to only open when it receives a signal from an authorized aerial vehicle. The storage compartment can be accessed via a storage compartment door which can contain a locking mechanism. The storage compartment can be climate controlled. The landing pad can also have a transmitter that emits sounds to discourage animals from nesting on or near the landing pad. The landing pad can also include a solar power generator as a source of electrical energy.

  • Patent number: 11067335
Abstract: Devices, systems, and methods for liquefied natural gas production facilities are disclosed herein. A liquefied natural gas (LNG) production facility includes a liquefaction unit that condenses natural gas vapor into liquefied natural gas; an electric-driven compression system for the refrigerant(s) in power to the liquefaction unit; and a sequestration compression unit configured to compress and convey at least one CO2-rich stream towards a sequestration site, thereby reducing the overall emissions from the LNG facility.

  • Patent number: 11065166
Abstract: A motion-based push activation power assist system for manual wheelchairs. The system uses motion-based measurements to determine when the user applies a push to the wheelchair handrims and brakes with the handrims. The push recognition activates a drive system that provides an assistive driving force-pulse to the wheelchair to reduce the demand on the user during propulsion. The brake recognition deactivates the power assist. The provided power assist is proportional to the sensed push and can be modulated to different proportional settings.

  • Patent number: 11070062
Abstract: Different systems to achieve solar power conversion are provided in at least three different general aspects, with circuitry that can be used to harvest maximum power from a solar source or strings of panels for DC or AC use, perhaps for transfer to a power grid three aspects can exist perhaps independently and relate to: 1) electrical power conversion in a multimodal manner, 2) alternating between differing processes such as by an alternative mode photovoltaic power converter functionality control, and 3) systems that can achieve efficiencies in conversion that are extraordinarily high compared to traditional through substantially power isomorphic photovoltaic DC-DC power conversion capability that can achieve 99.2% efficiency or even only wire transmission losses. Switchmode impedance conversion circuits may have pairs of photovoltaic power series switch elements and pairs of photovoltaic power shunt switch elements.

  • Patent number: 11070508
Abstract: Methods and apparatus related to determining an effect on dissemination of information related to an event based on a dynamic confidence level associated with the event. For example, an event and an event confidence level of the event may be determined based on a message of a user. An effect on dissemination of information related to the event may be determined based on the confidence level. A new confidence level may be determined based on additional data associated with the event and the effect on dissemination of information may be adjusted based on the new confidence level. In some implementations, the additional data may be based on a new message that is related to the message, such as a reply to the message.

  • Patent number: 11068482
Abstract: Described herein is a system and method for detecting and reusing overlapping computations. Overlapping subgraphs of the query are determined using a normalized signature for a particular subgraph that identifies a particular subgraph across recurring instances of data. A normalized signature for each overlapping subgraph for the determined overlapping subgraphs of the query is provided. For each overlapping subgraph determined to be materialized: whether or not the particular subgraph has been materialized is determined using a precise signature corresponding to a normalized signature of the particular overlapping subgraph. The precise signature identifies a particular subgraph corresponding to the normalized signature within a particular recurring instance of data. When the particular subgraph has not been materialized, the subgraph is materialized and used to respond to the query. When the particular subgraph has been materialized, the materialized subgraph is used to respond to the query.
