Abstract: A navigation device is provided that includes one or more input devices configured to receive starting and ending locations for route navigation, and a processor configured to retrieve user route preferences. The user route preferences may indicate one or more preferred route characteristics. The processor further may be configured to receive a request for a route from a starting location to an ending location via the one or more input devices, to read stored map information including a plurality of route segments. Each route segment may include route segment data indicating one or more route characteristics of that route segment. The processor may further be configured to generate a personalized route that includes at least one route segment having route segment data indicating at least one of the one or more preferred route characteristics of the user, and to display the personalized route to the user.

Abstract: One example device for overcurrent protection for wireless power receivers includes a wireless power antenna comprising a wire coil; a conditioning circuit electrically coupled to the wireless power antenna to receive an electric power signal from the wireless power antenna; a temperature-sensitive fuse electrically coupled between the wireless power antenna and the conditioning circuit and configured to electrically decouple the wireless power antenna from the conditioning circuit in response to being blown; and a thermal energy source configured to generate thermal energy based on an electrical signal from an output of the conditioning circuit, the thermal energy source positioned proximate the temperature-sensitive fuse.
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a building structure having a convertible roof with at least one moveable roof section. The moveable roof section can include an integrated overhang. The moveable roof section can also include a roller that rides on a track formed by an angle member. The convertible roof can further have a configuration that reduces rafter visibility.
Abstract: A computing device detects a trigger or context associated with exchanging, using a body area network (BAN), body area network services with another device. The BAN services can include a discovery service to allow the computing device to connect to a network. Responsive to detecting the trigger or context, one or more body area networks are discovered and the other device is discovered. If the computing device and the other device are new to each other, the computing device is authenticated to the body area network one or more body area network services can be exchanged. If the devices are not new to each other, body area network services can be exchanged using the other device.

Abstract: Systems, methods, and computer-readable media for communications between applications in a mobile operating system. A first application may receive a request for data from a second application. The first application may generate a first URL to the second application, a parameter of the first URL comprising an identifier of the first application. A mobile operating system may access the first URL to open the second application. The second application may validate credentials for an account and initiate a server on a port. The second application may generate a second URL to the first application, a parameter of the second URL comprising the port. The operating system may access the second URL to open the first application. The first application may establish a connection with the server using the port specified in the second URL and receive data from the second application via the connection with the server.
Abstract: Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on a computer storage medium, for parameterization of physical dimensions of discrete circuit components for component definitions that define discrete circuit components. The component definitions may be selected for use in a device design. When a parametrization of a particular version of a discrete circuit component definition is changed, the version level of the device design is also changed and the circuit layout for the device design is physically verified for the new version level.
Abstract: A method of making a modified hyaluronate composition including providing an aqueous solution of uncrosslinked hyaluronic acid or sodium hyaluronate in unbuffered 135 to 200 mM NaCl, crosslinking the uncrosslinked hyaluronic acid or sodium hyaluronate in the aqueous solution with a dialdehyde or disulfide crosslinking agent to provide crude modified hyaluronate having a soluble fraction and a crosslinked fraction with a 10% to 98% degree of crosslinking, centrifuging the crude modified hyaluronate and removing at least a portion of the soluble fraction, and optionally repeating the centrifuging and removing until the modified hyaluronate has less than 10% by weight of the soluble fraction based on the total weight of hyaluronate, with a soluble fraction polydispersity (Mw/Mn) of 1 to 1.6, an Rh of the crosslinked fraction of 150 nm to 2000 nm, and an Rz of the crosslinked fraction of 50 nm to 700 nm, wherein Rh>Rz.
Abstract: Systems and methods including one or more processing modules and one or more non-transitory storage modules storing computing instructions configured to run on the one or more processing modules and perform acts of determining an accuracy score for existing product information using a first set of rules that compares the existing product information for the product with product information of other internal or external sources, determining if the accuracy score exceeds a predetermined accuracy threshold, automatically replacing incorrect product information in the existing product information with correct product information from the other sources if the accuracy score does not exceed the predetermined accuracy threshold, coordinating displaying of the existing product information with the correct product information replacing the incorrect product information on a webpage for the product on a website of the online retailer.

Abstract: A drill bit comprises a bit body having a longitudinal axis and a blade extending radially outward from the longitudinal axis along a face region and axially along a gauge region. A gauge region includes a gauge feature and first and second recessed regions extending axially above and below the gauge feature, respectively. The gauge feature comprises an outermost surface extending radially beyond outer surfaces of the blade in the recessed regions. A method of drilling a borehole comprises rotating the bit about the longitudinal axis, engaging a formation with cutting elements mounted to the face region, and increasing a lateral force applied substantially perpendicular to the longitudinal axis such that radially outer surfaces in the gauge region engage the formation and such that side cutting exhibited by the bit is initially minimal and substantially constant and subsequently increases in a substantially linear manner with increasing lateral force.

Abstract: Storage management techniques involve, in response to a request to write data to a redundant array of independent disks (RAID), determining whether there is an offline disk in a plurality of storage disks constituting the RAID, the RAID comprising a plurality of stripes, each of the plurality of stripes comprising a plurality of storage blocks divided from the plurality of storage disks; in response to determining that there is an offline disk in the plurality of storage disks, selecting a target stripe from the plurality of stripes, the target stripe having a storage block allocated from the offline disk for storing parity information; and writing the data to the target stripe. In this way, the performance of data write can be improved in presence of an offline disk. In addition, the performance of subsequent data read can also be improved potentially.
