  • Patent number: 11063696
Abstract: Disclosed in some examples are methods, systems, devices, and machine-readable mediums which optimize one or more metrics of a communication system by intentionally changing symbols in a bitstream after encoding by, an error correction coder, but prior to transmission. The symbols may be changed to meet a communication metric optimization goal, such as decreasing a high PAPR, reducing an error rate, reducing an average power level (to save battery), or altering some other communication metric. The symbol that is intentionally changed is then detected by the receiver as an error and corrected by the receiver utilizing the error correction coding.

  • Patent number: 11063565
Abstract: An amplifier having one or more channels where each channel includes a two half bridges (a master and slave sub-channel). The sub-channels can be connected either in parallel or in a full-bridge configuration via internal switches that route signals to a pair of speaker jacks. One switch in the amplifier has a first position that selectively connects the outputs of the master and slave sub-channel to the same input of the speaker load so that the two sub-channels will drive the speaker load in parallel and a second position where the output of the slave sub-channel is connected to another input of the speaker load so that the master sub-channel and the slave sub-channel will drive the speaker load in a Full-bridge configuration.

  • Patent number: 11064102
Abstract: Methods, devices, computer readable medium, and systems are described for capturing images at venues. Venues are organized around one or more shotspots. Shotspots are geographic locations which may have one or more subspots and one or more venue operated camera devices. Subspots identify positions to be occupied by subjects within a shotspot. Shotspots are installed, registered, and operated by venue operators. Images are captured based on triggers which may include one or more conditions under which images will be stored. Conditions may also include negative limitations. Users wishing to use a shotspot do so through a mobile device. Interacting through the mobile device, a user may discover, receive directions to, navigate to, and arrange sessions during which they may use a shotspot. Users may also receive sample images, define triggers, initiate triggers, preview framing, and receive images through the mobile application.

  • Patent number: 11061599
Abstract: An aspect of volume migration includes establishing a connection between hosts and a non-volatile memory over fabric (NVMeoF) controller for appliances, and creating and exposing a volume as a namespace to hosts. The namespace forms part of an asymmetric namespace access (ANA) group in which optimized paths are exposed to the hosts. Upon receiving a request to migrate the volume from a source appliance to a destination appliance, an aspect further includes creating a namespace on the destination, and configuring the ANA group of the namespace as inaccessible. Through the connection, an aspect includes initiating an asynchronous event notification (AEN) to the host to connect ports on the destination and, upon connecting to the ports, discovering by the hosts on the destination, the namespace created, verifying the hosts have connected to the ports and have discovered the namespace, and migrating data to the destination and performing input/output cutover.

  • Patent number: 11059869
Abstract: Described herein is the finding that increasing the frequency of Zscan4 activation in mouse ES cells not only enhances, but also maintains their developmental potency in long-term cell culture. Particularly disclosed herein is the finding that the constitutive presence of Zscan4-ERT2, even in the absence of its usual activator tamoxifen, can increase the frequency of endogenous Zscan4 activation in ES cells, resulting in the increase of developmental potency of the ES cells. Accordingly, provided herein are Zscan4-ERT2 fusion proteins and nucleic acid molecules and vectors encoding Zscan4-ERT2 fusion proteins. Further provided are methods of prolonging and/or enhancing stem cell plmipotency using the disclosed Zscan4-ERT2 nucleic acid molecules and fusion proteins.
