Abstract: Exposing a leap second to a plurality of applications includes identifying that a positive leap second should be added to the end of a chosen date. Based on the occurrence of the positive leap second, a first conversion component is exposed to a first application. The first conversion component presents, over a period of two seconds of actual time, a last second of the chosen date as if it is one second of system time. Based on the occurrence of the positive leap second, and based on a second application opting in to leap seconds, a second conversion component is exposed to the second application. The second conversion component presents an extra 61st second of system time at the end of a last minute of the chosen date.

The process includes combining particles of a phosphor of formula I: Ax [MFy]:Mn4+ with a first solution including a compound of formula II: Ax[MFy] to form a suspension, where A is Li, Na, K, Rb, Cs, or a combination thereof; M is Si, Ge, Sn, Ti, Zr, Al, Ga, In, Sc, Hf, Y, La, Nb, Ta, Bi, Gd, or a combination thereof; x is an absolute value of a charge of the [MFy] ion; and y is 5, 6 or 7. The process further includes combining a second solution including a source A+ ions with the suspension.

Abstract: This disclosure details systems and methods for supporting and isolating vehicle body mounted battery packs from various vehicle loads. An exemplary electrified vehicle may include a frame, a battery support structure mounted to the frame, a battery pack, and one or more isolators. The battery pack is supported by the battery support structure but is not mechanically coupled to the frame. The isolator is mounted between the battery pack and the battery pack support structure for isolating the battery pack from loads that may be imparted on the frame and/or the battery support structure.

Abstract: A trap system is presented for deployment of a reserve parachute. The trap system includes a trap line with a first end coupled to a main parachute and a trap attached to a surface of the container. The trap includes an outer perimeter to removably hold the trap line and an interior to removably hold the reserve bridle. A kit is also presented for converting a parachute container into an improved parachute container to deploy a reserve parachute. The kit includes an attachment to be secured to a surface of the parachute container. The attachment includes a trap line with a first end configured to be coupled to the first end of the RSL lanyard, and a trap secured to a region of the attachment, with an outer perimeter to removably hold a second end of the trap line and an interior to removably hold the reserve bridle.

Abstract: A multi-core audio processor includes an audio fabric block configured to organize data received from a plurality of audio interfaces into streams for processing by a plurality of digital signal processing cores. The plurality of digital signal processing cores include a single sample processing core and a frame processing core. The multi-core audio processor also includes a pool of undedicated random access memory (RAM) and a main controller configured to dynamically allocate memory resources from the pool of undedicated RAM amongst one or more of the plurality of digital signal processing cores.

Abstract: The present invention is directed to novel nucleotide and amino acid sequences of Porcine Epidemic Diarrhea Virus (“PEDV”), including novel genotypes thereof, all of which are useful in the preparation of vaccines for treating and preventing diseases in swine and other animals. Vaccines provided according to the practice of the invention are effective against multiple swine PEDV genotypes and isolates. Diagnostic and therapeutic polyclonal and monoclonal antibodies are also a feature of the present invention, as are infectious clones useful in the propagation of the virus and in the preparation of vaccines. Particularly important aspects of the invention include polynucleotide constructs that replicate in tissue culture and in host swine. The invention also provides for novel full length PEDV genomes that can replicate efficiently in host animals and tissue culture.

The RIC can support microservices that can be centralized at an edge cloud or distributed such that service aware and mobility state aware dual connectivity (DC) can be utilized. This service aware and mobility state aware DC can allow a mobile device to take advantage of DC features for the services requiring high bandwidth, while reducing the signaling and reducing power consumption of the mobile device. The service aware and mobility state aware DC microservices can also be hosted at central location to generate processing efficiencies.

Abstract: A method for processing a chemical stream includes contacting a feed stream with a catalyst in an upstream reactor section of a reactor having the upstream reactor section and a downstream reactor section, passing an intermediate product stream to the downstream reactor section, and introducing a riser quench fluid into the downstream reactor section, upstream reactor section, or transition section and into contact with the intermediate product stream and the catalyst to slow or stop the reaction. The method includes separating at least a portion of the catalyst from the product stream, passing the product stream to a product processing section, cooling the product stream, and separating a portion of the riser quench fluid from the product stream. The riser quench fluid separated from the product stream may be recycled back to the downstream reactor section, upstream reactor section, or transition section as the riser quench fluid.
