Abstract: A method for processing a fluid that includes receiving the fluid into a testing skid as an inlet flow, the fluid comprising a multi-phase fluid produced from a well. The method includes controlling the inlet flow in a manner whereby an at least a portion of the inlet flow is transferred as a diverted stream to a separation component associated with the testing skid, and using the separation component to restructure an at least a portion of the diverted stream into stratified flow regimes. The stratified flow regimes entail a gas phase and a liquid phase. The method includes using the water cut meter to determine a water:oil ratio present in the liquid phase; and discharging the liquid phase from the testing skid.

Abstract: A method for determining a concentration of an analyte in a fluidic sample is described. A sample is applied to a biosensor including an electrochemical cell having electrodes. A predetermined voltage waveform is applied during at least first and second time intervals. At least first and second current values are measured during the first and second time intervals, respectively. A turning point time is determined during the first time interval at which the measured first current values transition from a first to a second profile. The concentration of analyte in the sample is calculated based on determined turning point time and at least one measured current value. In another example, a physical characteristic of the sample is estimated based on measured current values. The concentration is calculated using a first or second model if the estimated physical characteristic of the sample is in a first or second range, respectively.

Abstract: A computer-implemented method for clustering data to improve data analytics may include (1) extracting a social graph from a data set of messages, the social graph indicating messages as edges such that nodes of the edges indicate corresponding senders and recipients in sender-recipient relationships, (2) detecting communities of collaborators by identifying clusters of nodes within the social graph, (3) applying the identified clusters of nodes within the social graph to a grouping calculation to group the messages of the data set into groups of messages, and (4) providing, through a computing interface, results of a data analytics operation to an end user based at least in part on applying the identified clusters of nodes within the social graph to the grouping calculation. Abstract: Embodiments of this invention generally relate to systems and methods for optical treatment and more particularly to non-invasive refractive treatment method based on sub wavelength particle implantation. In an embodiment, a method for optical treatment identifies an optical aberration of an eye, determines a dopant delivery device configuration in response to the optical aberration of the eye, wherein the determined dopant delivery device is configured to impose a desired correction to the eye to mitigate the identified optical aberration of the eye by applying a doping pattern to the eye so as to locally change a refractive index of the eye.

Abstract: The present invention is for a slip resistant shoelace comprising a shoelace tube and one or more friction inducing features such as a plurality of bumps made of rubber or silicone disposed over at least a portion of the length of the shoelace tube. The bumps can also be disposed over a rope in any desired manner to make it a slippage resistant rope. The plurality of bumps, when come in contact with each other or with any other surfaces in a tied knot, offer higher co-efficient of friction and thus resist slipping of the knot. A knot tied with the slip-resistant shoelace or the slip-resistant rope prevents slipping and prevents from getting loosened and untied inadvertently.

A system receives a document request over a network from a first computer system, the document comprising a plurality of fields configured to receive input data. The document is transmitted to the first computer system. Context data and the document, including field input data, are received from the first computer system. An encryption key is generated and used to encrypt the document field input data and the context data. A payload is generated including the encrypted document field input data, the encrypted context data, and a non-encrypted identifier linked to the key. The payload and an image of the document are provided to a second computer system. The document image is viewable using a portable document format viewer. A decryption key request including the identifier linked to the key is received. The decryption key is provided to the second computer system to decrypt the encrypted field input data and the encrypted context data.

Abstract: User authentication techniques that use a companion device associated with a mobile computing device are described. The companion device receives a user authentication request from a user authentication service via the mobile computing device, displays information related to the user authentication request, receives an approval of the user authentication request, and transmits the approval of the user authentication request to the service via the mobile computing device. In one embodiment, after transmitting the approval, the companion device receives a token from the mobile computing device that includes a value obtained from the service, signs the token with a private key of a securely-stored signing key pair and provides the signed token to the service via the mobile computing device. In another embodiment, after the companion device transmits the approval to the mobile computing device, the mobile computing device provides a personal identification code from secure storage to the service.

Abstract: A data transfer analysis system is disclosed that analyzes data transfer log entries to determine whether a data transfer is authorized. The system determines information about the data assets involved in the data transfer (e.g., network address, geographical location, etc.) and uses a data map to determine if data transfers are authorized between the two data assets. If not, the system may take one or more actions, such as generating a notification, terminating the data transfer, restricting the access of the user that initiated the transfer, modifying network communications capabilities between the assets to prevent future transfers, and storing metadata that can be used to prevent future such transfers.

An anomaly detection technique is selected from a plurality of detection techniques, and is applied to a first time-series data set (having a first set of dimensions).
