Abstract: Methods, systems, apparatuses, and computer program products are described herein that enable detecting anomalies in time series. An anomaly detection technique is selected from a plurality of detection techniques, and is applied to a first time-series data set (having a first set of dimensions). In response to detecting an anomaly in the time-series data set, the anomaly detection technique is applied to a second time-series data set that is a subset of the first time-series data set. The first time-series data set includes the first set of dimensions plus one or more additional dimensions.

Abstract: Disclosed is a system and method for identifying an organism. At least one database includes electronic organism profile information representing at least one respective physical characteristic associated with a plurality of respective organisms, at least one respective corresponding attribute of the respective organisms, and an identity of at least one of the plurality of organisms, as well as owner information representing at least one person respectively associated with at least one of the organisms. Profile information that includes information representing physical characteristic(s) associated with the first organism associated with a first organism is received. In accordance with at least some electronic organism profile information and at least some of the first electronic profile information, an identity is identified.

Abstract: A digital twin may be configured to perform blockchain transactions on behalf of a device with limited memory, limited compute power, and/or limited internet connectivity. A method for performing such a blockchain transaction includes hosting a digital twin for the capability limited device that has a unique identifier matching a unique identifier of the digital twin such that actions performed by the digital twin are attributable to the capability limited device. The method further includes receiving input for a set of blockchain operations at the system capable of performing the blockchain operations, from the capability limited device. The method further includes performing the set of blockchain operations at the system capable of performing the blockchain operations using the digital twin and the unique device identifier, such that performance of the set of blockchain operations is attributed to the capability limited device.

Abstract: Disclosed herein are example embodiments of protocols to distill magic states for T-gates. Particular examples have low space overhead and use an asymptotically optimal number of input magic states to achieve a given target error. The space overhead, defined as the ratio between the physical qubits to the number of output magic states, is asymptotically constant, while both the number of input magic states used per output state and the T-gate depth of the circuit scale linearly in the logarithm of the target error. Unlike other distillation protocols, examples of the disclosed protocol achieve this performance without concatenation and the input magic states are injected at various steps in the circuit rather than all at the start of the circuit. Embodiments of the protocol can be modified to distill magic states for other gates at the third level of the Clifford hierarchy, with the same asymptotic performance.

Abstract: A wireless power reception device and a wireless communication method thereby are provided. The wireless communication method by the wireless power reception device may comprise the steps of: receiving a wireless power signal from a wireless power transmission device; measuring the strength of the wireless power signal; modulating the amplitude of the wireless power signal according to the measured strength of the wireless power signal; and performing communication with the wireless power transmission device by using the signal having the amplitude modulated.

Abstract: In particular embodiments, a data processing data inventory generation system is configured to: (1) generate a data model (e.g., a data inventory) for one or more data assets utilized by a particular organization; (2) generate a respective data inventory for each of the one or more data assets; and (3) map one or more relationships between one or more aspects of the data inventory, the one or more data assets, etc. within the data model. In particular embodiments, a data asset (e.g., data system, software application, etc.) may include, for example, any entity that collects, processes, contains, and/or transfers personal data (e.g., such as a software application, “internet of things” computerized device, database, website, data-center, server, etc.). For example, a first data asset may include any software or device (e.g., server or servers) utilized by a particular entity for such data collection, processing, transfer, storage, etc.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and computer programs are presented for selecting features for a machine-learning model configured to detect anomalies in the evolution of data over time. One method includes an operation for identifying one or more key fields and value fields from the fields in a relational database. The method also includes grouping data of the value fields based on values of the one or more key fields and calculating one or more statistical values for each group of data of the value fields. The method further includes operations for monitoring an evolution of the one or more statistical values over time, and for selecting, based on the evolution of the one or more statistical values over time, features to be used by a machine-learning model to detect anomalies in content of the relational database over time. The method also includes executing the machine-learning model to detect the anomalies.

Abstract: A system and method for providing financial account messages to customers while accessing web sites is disclosed. Methods, systems and articles of manufacture consistent with the present invention enable a financial account issuer to provide an application to customer's computer system over a network. The application may be configured to provide various messages associated with the customer's financial account provided by the financial account issuer while the customer browses web sites. The financial account messages may be configured to provide interactive and dynamically changing account status information based on attempted purchases of goods and/or services by the customer at merchants' web sites. The application may also be configured to provide rating information associated with web sites accessed by the customer.

Abstract: Epoxy adhesives include a latent curing agent, a reactive toughener having capped isocyanate groups, and certain urea compounds. The toughener is made by chain extending and capping a mixture of isocyanate-terminated prepolymers. The prepolymers include an isocyanate-terminated polyether and an isocyanate-terminated diene polymer. The adhesives have excellent wash-off resistance and excellent ability to adhere to oily substrates.

Abstract: An electronic system such as an imaging system may include processing circuitry and memory circuitry. The memory circuitry may include one-time-programmable memory having error correction code functionalities (e.g., SECDED functionalities). The one-time-programmable memory may have a first set of previously programmed bits and a second set of unprogrammed and unused bits. The processing circuitry may process instructions to update a bit in the second set of bits. To preserve the ECC functionalities (e.g., the ECC check bits associated with the first and second sets of bits, the processing circuitry may also update additional bits in the second set of bits.

A closure panel is pivotable between an open position and a closed position with respect to the cargo bay. The vehicle also includes a collapsible storage container comprising a plurality of wall panels. Each respective wall panel of the plurality of wall panels is pivotably coupled to at least one other respective wall panel of the plurality of wall panels. The plurality of wall panels are selectively repositionable between a stowed position and a deployed position. A respective wall panel of the plurality of wall panels is pivotably coupled to the interior side of the closure panel. In the stowed position each respective wall panel is disposed parallel to the closure panel and in the deployed position a storage volume is defined between the plurality of wall panels.

Abstract: Some embodiments of the present invention relate to processes to recover rhodium from a hydroformylation process. In some embodiments, the process to recover rhodium from the hydroformylation process comprises (a) treating a catalyst-containing stream from the hydroformylation process with 2.5 to 20 weight percent, based on the total weight of the stream, of a water-soluble organic amine of the following structure: wherein R32, R33, and R34 are each independently alkyls and ethoxylates, and wherein no more than one of R32, R33, and R34 is alkyl; (b) heating the resulting solution in the presence of syngas to a temperature of at least 65° C. to generate a rhodium-rich phase and a supernatant; and (c) removing the supernatant to recover the rhodium-rich phase.

Beverage availability information for the user can be determined. The beverage availability information can specify categories of beverages that the user is authorized to dispense. Valves can be selected that correspond to the authorized beverage categories. The valves can be enabled to allow the user to dispense beverages from the authorized beverage categories. The quantity of beverages dispensed can be tracked.

Abstract: A mounting device or bracket for paneled building surfaces is disclosed. The mounting bracket includes an upper wall in the form of a flat surface for supporting various types of attachments. An elongated mounting slot extends through the upper wall, and the mounting bracket includes an elongated nut receptacle that is positioned below this elongated mounting slot. With an attachment being positioned on the upper wall, an attachment fastener may be directed through the attachment, then through the elongated mounting slot, and then may be threadably engaged with a nut that is positioned within and movable along the nut receptacle in its elongated dimension. The elongated configuration of the mounting slot and nut receptacle provides adjustability for the position of the attachment fastener relative to the mounting bracket, including after the mounting bracket has already been installed on the building surface.

The pressure regulating system includes a pressure sensor configured to sense pressure of water flowing through the meter; an actuator coupled to the pressure sensor; an electronics module configured to receive pressure information related sensed pressure from the actuator and process the received pressure information; and a radio module coupled to the meter and configured to receive the processed sensor information from the electronics module, communicate the processed sensor information to a remote location and receive pressure adjustment information from the remote location. The received pressure adjustment information is used to adjust water pressure in the meter from the remote location.
