  • Patent number: 11037567
Abstract: A method to transcribe communications may include obtaining, during a communication session, audio that includes a voice of a user participating in the communication session. The communication session may be configured for verbal communication. The method may further include establishing a network connection with a transcription system and sending the audio to the transcription system. In some embodiments, the transcription system may be configured to generate a transcript of the audio. The method may also include obtaining the transcript of the audio from the transcription system during the communication session and monitoring the audio to determine when the voice is inactive. In some embodiments, in response to the voice being inactive, the method may include stopping the sending of the audio to the transcription system while maintaining the communication session.

  • Patent number: 11038812
Abstract: Various aspects for scaling an availability of information are disclosed. In one aspect, a response performance associated with responding to data consumption requests is monitored. A characterization of the response performance is ascertained, and a scaling of resources is facilitated based on the characterization. In another aspect, a data consumption status indicative of data consumed is ascertained. Here, a scalability interface is provided, which displays aspects of the status, and receives an input from a content provider. An allocation of resources is then modified in response to the input. In yet another aspect, a response performance associated with responding to data consumption requests is monitored. An application programming interface (API) call is generated based on a characterization of the response performance, and transmitted to a content provider. An API response is then received from the content provider indicating whether a scaling of resources for hosting the data was performed.

  • Patent number: 11039010
Abstract: A system for ring suppression facilitates notification and handling of unwanted calls as desired by a recipient, and in particular without disturbing the recipient. A new social dimension of call presentation logic is now available to callers. A telephony device is configured to receive an incoming call. The incoming call includes a calling line identity (CLI). On the telephony device, individual contacts in an address book are searched for a match to the CLI. If a match is found, a first phone action is activated (such as ringing the phone). If a match is not found in the address book for the incoming CLI, a second phone action is activated (such as not ringing the phone, and displaying the CLI). In other words, a call that is not in the address book of the recipient (B party) is silenced.

  • Patent number: 11033066
Abstract: An orthotic insole comprising top, middle, and bottom layers. The top layer is in contact with a wearer's foot or a wrap of material, the bottom layer is adjacent to an outsole of the shoe, and the middle layer is positioned therebetween. The top layer has substantially the same width and length of the entire insole. The middle layer is a generally j-shaped strip which provides a rearfoot posting within the insole and a cupping effect to a wearer's heel. The middle layer may have a similar overall width as the top layer but may include a shorter length than the top layer such that the middle layer only extends from the heel to approximately the joint of the fifth metatarsal bone. The bottom layer may be more rigid than the other two layers, and may further include a rigid plate. The insole may further include an arch support integrally formed within one or more of the layers or a cushioning layer with one or more cushioning segments on top of the top layer.

  • Patent number: 11037873
Abstract: A barrier or “crackstop” that is configured to conduct electrical signals. These configurations may form a wall around integrated, active circuitry of a semiconductor die. This wall may include a conductor that follows a three-dimensional pathway from one side to the other side of the wall. This pathway may have sections that overlap, or double-back, so that portions of the conductor overlap along their individual length. These sections prevent crack propagation internal to the wall.

  • Patent number: 11035580
Abstract: A method for controlling a fan of a dehumidifier includes performing a first step of obtaining an ambient temperature, an exhaust temperature, and a delta temperature that is a difference between the ambient temperature and the exhaust temperature. The method further include determining, after performing the first step, whether the delta temperature is within a delta temperature range. If the delta temperature is within the delta temperature range, the method proceeds back to the first step. If the delta temperature is not within the delta temperature range, the method performs a second step of determining an adjusted fan speed using the delta temperature. The method further includes performing, after performing the second step, a third step of setting the fan speed to the determined adjusted fan speed.

  • Patent number: 11037060
Abstract: Sequence data, such as time series data is analyzed using neural networks, for example, recurrent neural networks. The sequence data is obtained from a source. For example, a sequence data may represent time series data obtained from a sensor. As another example, the sequence of data may represent a sequence of user interactions performed by a user with an online system. The sequences of data are provided as input to a neural network. A feature vector representation of each input sequence data is extracted from the neural network. The feature vector representation is used for clustering the sequence data. Salient features of clusters of sequence data are determined. The salient features of clusters of sequence data are provided for display via a user interface.

  • Patent number: 11036270
Abstract: Systems and methods for providing power to a home entertainment integrated circuit chip are disclosed. The home entertainment integrated circuit chip can operate in at least two power control modes: “power on” mode and “standby” mode. In power on mode, power is supplied to IC core module from a main power supply. The power supplied to the IC core module is isolated from power supplied to a standby island. Accordingly, during the second mode power is applied only to the standby power island through a regulator internal to the integrated circuit chip. The regulator is coupled to an external peripheral input/output (I/O) power supply that is independent of the main power supply.
