Abstract: Systems, methods, and apparatus are disclosed for generating and processing natural language requests. A request processing system processes a received natural language request to identify an intent of the natural language request and a confidence level of the identified intent. In response to the confidence level of the identified intent not satisfying a threshold level, the request processing system sends the natural language request to the fulfillment computing device for further processing by a person associated with the fulfillment computing device. In response to the confidence level satisfying the threshold level, the request processing system proceeds with fulfilling the request per the identified intent.

Abstract: In one example embodiment, a computer-implemented method includes receiving data representing a motion plan of the autonomous vehicle via a plurality of control lanes configured to implement the motion plan to control a motion of the autonomous vehicle, the plurality of control lanes including at least a first control lane and a second control lane, and controlling the first control lane to implement the motion plan. The method includes detecting one or more faults associated with implementation of the motion plan by the first control lane or the second control lane, or in generation of the motion plan, and in response to one or more faults, controlling the first control lane or the second control lane to adjust the motion of the autonomous vehicle based at least in part on one or more fault reaction parameters associated with the one or more faults.

Abstract: A method for transmitting uplink signals, which include ACK/NACK signals, control signals other than the ACK/NACK signals, and data signals, is disclosed. The method comprises serially multiplexing the control signals and the data signals; sequentially mapping the multiplexed signals within a specific resource region in accordance with a time-first mapping method, the specific resource region including a plurality of symbols and a plurality of virtual subcarriers; and arranging the ACK/NACK signals at both symbols near symbols to which a reference signal of the plurality of symbols is transmitted. Thus, the uplink signals can be transmitted to improve receiving reliability of signals having high priority.

Abstract: A system for converting solar energy to electric power and a glass for a layer of solar cells in the system. A solar panel installation comprises a solar panel with at least one solar cell formed with a stack of plural layers of photovoltaic wafer material. Each layer of wafer material has an edge direction from a recipient edge to a back edge, and the solar cell is retained within the solar panel installation with the photovoltaic wafer material disposed with the edge direction aligned with incident solar direction. Reflective material applied to facing surfaces of the photovoltaic wafer material facilitates internal reflection of photons. A glass layer has plural sheets of Graphene layered to form a Graphene Cube constructed to exhibit Multiple Excitation Generation (MEG). A method for assembling the glass fixes a top glass above a bottom glass with photovoltaic wafer material establishing a fixed distance therebetween.
Abstract: An automated storage and retrieval system includes a storage array of storage locations for case units. An in-out case conveyor is capable of bi-directionally transporting case units to and from the storage array, and an in-out loaded pallet conveyor is capable of bi-directionally transporting loaded pallets towards and away from the storage array. A palletizer-depalletizer cell includes a bi-directional pallet transport system with more than one independently driven pallet transports, each with a different pallet holder independently movable relative to a cell frame. Placement of case units commissioning a pallet layer loading a pallet, and removal of case units decommissioning a pallet layer unloading another pallet are both effected at the common pallet layer interface at a predetermined level of the cell frame. The pallet transports independently index a first and a second of the different pallet holders, each independently holding the pallet loading at the common pallet layer interface.

Abstract: A testing system for testing a missile component having a sense axis includes a centrifuge, a support arm, an orientation assembly, and a controller. The centrifuge rotates the orientation assembly about a vertical axis in a substantially horizontal plane. The orientation assembly includes a first motor, a first gimbal, and a gimballed support. The first motor has a first rotatable shaft defining a first gimbal axis. The first gimbal is coupled with the first rotatable shaft to rotate about the first gimbal axis while the centrifuge rotates the orientation assembly about the vertical axis such that missile component is simultaneously rotated about both the vertical axis and the first gimbal axis to simulate a missile launch of the missile component. The gimballed support is coupled with the first gimbal for supporting the missile component such that the sense axis of the missile component is not parallel to the substantially horizontal plane.

Abstract: A request for an operation on a directory is received that requires a hydration of one or more files within the directory. A process is initiated to hydrate dehydrated descendent files of the folder. During the hydration process, attempts to introduce new dehydrated files in the folder are blocked. The request is processed when the hydration is complete.

Abstract: A system and method for synchronized video logging and playback of auction activity is disclosed. A particular embodiment includes: establishing, by use of a data processor and a data network, a data connection with at least one auction site; gathering auction data and video streams from the auction site; synchronizing the video streams with corresponding auction data; presenting a user interface to a user, the user interface enabling the user to select a desired portion of the auction data; and rendering the selected portion of the auction data along with a corresponding synchronized video clip from a video stream from the auction site.
Abstract: This invention is a new and distinct grapevine variety denominated ‘IFG Forty-four’. The new grapevine is characterized by producing small naturally seedless reddish black berries having an ellipsoid shape with a Concord like labrusca flavor. Fruits normally ripen early-season, about mid to late July near Delano Calif. Fruits are fairly low in acidity, with a soft to slightly firm texture. Berries color readily even in hot climatic conditions and produce completely colored dark reddish black berries. Vines are very productive and can be pruned to short spurs.
