  • Patent number: 11002511
Abstract: A holster for receiving and withdrawing a handgun has a proximal wall portion with a handgun retention mechanism thereon. The mechanism having a first lever with a tab portion for actuation and release of a trigger guard, the lever having a snap fit into a lever region without a separate pin. A belt engaging member covers the lever region capturing the first lever therein. If a second retention mechanism is used, another lever with a tab portion is positioned so the tabs are stacked, depressing one also depresses the tab behind it, such that both mechanisms are released. Overmolded polymer layers in the holster body provides a softer interior handgun engagement surfaces. The holster body is split forwardly with a threaded fastener for clamping onto the handgun. No holster body is beneath or rearward of the tab portion, configured as a thumb button, allowing smooth transition to gripping the handgun.

  • Patent number: 11006136
Abstract: The signalization of the inter-layer dependencies between layers of a multi-layered data stream is described. A good compromise between a too intensive restriction of the potential diversity of inter-layer dependencies on the one hand and a too complex signaling of the inter-layer dependencies on the other hand has been found by describing the inter-layer dependencies by way of a first inter-dependency syntax structure indicating inter-dependencies between pairs of different values representable by a base layer-ID and a second inter-dependency syntax structure indicating inter-dependencies between pairs of different values representable by an extension layer-ID, the base layer ID and extension layer ID indexing the layers the portions of the multi-layer data stream are associated with.

  • Patent number: 11005710
Abstract: Disclosed herein are systems, methods, computer media, and apparatuses for providing resource tracking, such as in a data center environment. A control and monitoring node receives updates indicating instantiation of resources in the computing system network. The control and monitoring node determines that there are duplicate resources in the network, and then determines which of the duplicate resources to provide connectivity to. The control and monitoring node provides network configuration updates to various networking resources in the network to provide network connectivity to the one of the duplicate resources in the network.

  • Patent number: 11003982
Abstract: Computer-based systems and methods guide the learning of features in middle layers of a deep neural network. The guidance can be provided by aligning sets of nodes or entire layers in a network being trained with sets of nodes in a reference system. This guidance facilitates the trained network to more efficiently learn features learned by the reference system using fewer parameters and with faster training. The guidance also enables training of a new system with a deeper network, i.e., more layers, which tend to perform better than shallow networks. Also, with fewer parameters, the new network has fewer tendencies to overfit the training data.

Abstract: Bone harvesting system including methods and devices for obtaining and/or removing osseous debris from a bone using an auger having a flexible, helical fin projecting from a shaft. In an exemplary method, a leading end region of the auger is placed into a reamed portion of a bone's medullary cavity via an entry site extending into the bone. Osseous debris is driven toward the entry site with the auger. At least a portion of the osseous debris that has passed through the entry site is collected outside the bone. In some embodiments, the leading end region of the auger is deformed by contact between the helical fin and a wall of the medullary cavity, to conform the helical fin in the leading end region to a portion of the medullary cavity.

  • Patent number: 11000566
Abstract: A novel class of embryo derived peptides are described (Preimplantation factor) that were generated synthetically and were tested on peripheral blood immune cells and shown to block activated but not basal immunity, inhibiting cell proliferation and creating a TH2 type cytokine bias, in addition PIF enhance endometrial receptivity by increasing adhesion molecules expression. PIF biological activity appears to be exerted by specific binding to inducible receptors present on the several white cell lineages. PIF peptides, which are immune modulators therefore may have diagnostic and non toxic therapeutic applications in improving fertility, reducing pregnancy loss as well may be useful when administered for the treatment of autoimmune diseases and for prevention xenotransplants rejection.
