Abstract: A cover assembly for an indoor or outdoor item. The cover assembly is moveable between an expanded configuration and a collapsed configuration and includes panels of a textile material stitched together with inside seams and outside seams. The cover assembly receives the selected item within an interior area defined by the panels and the selected item holds the cover assembly in the expanded configuration. The outside seams are biased to close toward an interior area of the cover assembly and the inside seams are biased to close away from the interior area such that, when the cover assembly is removed from the selected item, the cover assembly is biased to close along the inside and outside seams to cause the cover assembly to move to the collapsed configuration to increase the ease of folding and storing the cover assembly.

Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed that remove noise from roughness measurements to determine roughness of a feature in a pattern structure. In one embodiment, a method for determining roughness of a feature in a pattern structure includes generating, using an imaging device, a set of one or more images, each including measured linescan information that includes noise. The method also includes detecting edges of the features within the pattern structure of each image without filtering the images, generating a biased power spectral density (PSD) dataset representing feature geometry information corresponding to the edge detection measurements, evaluating a high-frequency portion of the biased PSD dataset to determine a noise model for predicting noise over all frequencies of the biased PSD dataset, and subtracting the noise predicted by the determined noise model from a biased roughness measure to obtain an unbiased roughness measure.

Abstract: A structural instrument panel member for an instrument panel assembly of a vehicle comprises a cross beam, a steering column support, a first and second HVAC duct, and a first dash panel mount. The cross beam mount has a first surface, a first side, a second side and a first, second, third, fourth and fifth walls. The cross beam mount is fastened to a cross beam of the vehicle. The steering column support extends from the first side of the cross beam mount. The first and second HVAC duct each have a first end and a second end. The first HVAC duct is disposed on the second side of the cross beam mount and the second HVAC duct is disposed adjacent the first HVAC duct. The first dash panel mount extends from the first HVAC duct and fastened to a dash panel of the vehicle.

In response to a selection of any of the personal information items for viewing, content associated with the item is presented in the viewing pane. In addition, in response to an identification of an action group that includes multiple ones of the personal information items, an action menu is presented in at least a portion of a space in the user interface occupied by the viewing pane.

Abstract: Various aspects and embodiments are directed to a precision dispenser that is hand held and constructed and arranged to receive and release a variety of glue cartridges. In various embodiments, the adhesive cartridges include precision tips that provide, for example, flat even bead with little or no spill or drip. Abstract: A system for producing high purity carbon monoxide and hydrogen as well as activated carbon includes a pyrolysis reactor, a gasifier, a combustion turbine, a boiler, a steam turbine, a combined cycle unit and an electrolysis unit. Liquid fuel from the pyrolysis reactor is provided to the combustion turbine. Liquid and gaseous fuels are provided to the boiler. Compressed oxygen from the electrolysis unit is provided to the combustion turbine. Electric power from the combustion turbine and steam turbine are provided to the electrolysis unit. The gasifier includes a preheat region, a gasification region, and a cooling region. CO2 and O2 are injected into the gasifier at multiple injection levels to create an isothermal gasification region to produce CO. The CO2 and O2 are preheated in a heat exchanger using the CO exiting from the gasifier prior to injection.
Abstract: Circuits and systems may be operable to provide improved wireless networking performance in the presence of a high speed wired interface. Filter circuits may be applied to wired interface leads to suppress frequency content that may interfere with wireless home networking. High speed digital wired interface systems on a chip may similarly be altered to suppress interfering frequency content before it leaves the chip. Systems with reduced radiated energy from wired interface circuits in frequencies of interest to wireless networking have improved wireless range and throughput characteristics.
Abstract: A method of making a tank for storing fluid that includes generating a resinated braid layer on an elongated liner having a plurality of successively alternating rigid and flexible portions along the length of the liner. Generating the resinated braid layer on the liner includes feeding the liner into a braiding machine and applying resin to a plurality of fibers during a braiding process to generate a resinated plurality of fibers and generating, over a length of the liner, by the braiding machine, the resinated braid layer defined by the resinated plurality of fibers.

The motor vehicle is operable as a generator to supply power from the at least one power source to an auxiliary load. The motor vehicle also includes a controller configured to estimate a range of the motor vehicle based on a state of the at least one power source, and to command the motor vehicle to stop operating as a generator when the estimated range reaches a threshold range. A method is also disclosed.

Abstract: A vehicle lamp assembly includes, a lamp housing defining an interior cavity and an exterior surface, a circuit board disposed within the interior cavity, the circuit board including a memory device, microprocessor and a connector for establishing a communication link with the memory device and the microprocessor. A vent opening within the lamp housing aligned with the connector on the circuit board and a permeable membrane is attached over the vent opening. Alignment of the vent opening with the connector provides access for reflashing upon removal of the permeable membrane.
