Abstract: Different full screen content is displayed on the same television at the same time from the perspective of the viewer by displaying as the content as two full screen sequential frames. The different full screen content may be provided as a single combined frame signal such as a side-by-side, top-bottom, or checkerboard signal which is then displayed as two sequential full screen frames. Configured glasses such as polarized or shutter are used to view the different content as full screen content where one pair of configured glasses views an initial one of the sequential frames but blocks the subsequent one and another pair of configured glasses blocks the initial one of the sequential frames and views the subsequent one. Shutter glasses have both lenses open during the initial frame and both closed during the subsequent one. For polarized glasses, the initial frame has a polarization matching both lenses of one pair of glasses while the subsequent frame has a polarization that differs from both lenses.

Abstract: An ear-plug device is an in-ear device that presents audio content to an ear canal of a user. The in-ear device includes a body configured to at least partially fit inside the ear canal of the user, and a transducer assembly coupled to the body. The transducer assembly comprises at least one transducer located within the ear canal. The at least one transducer is configured to vibrate a portion of the ear canal to cause the ear canal to create an airborne acoustic pressure wave in the ear canal in accordance with vibration instructions. The airborne acoustic pressure wave corresponds to and is for presentation of the audio content to the user.

Abstract: Methods and systems are described for matching contributor skills to required skills in source code programming projects in order to provide more agility for the project team. For example, to provide more agility, the methods and system track contributor skills and assign contributors to contributions based on one or more of a plurality of skills of a contributor not corresponding to a skill required for the project. The methods and system may nonetheless maintain workflow velocity in the source code programming projects.

Abstract: Methods and systems for a heads-up configurable vehicle dash display are provided. Specifically, a configurable dash may comprise one or more displays that are capable of receiving input from a user. At least one of these displays may be configured to present a plurality of custom applications that, when manipulated by at least one user, are adapted to control and/or monitor functions associated with a vehicle and/or associated peripheral devices. It is anticipated that the function and appearance of the plurality of custom applications may be altered via user and/or processor input.

Abstract: Systems and methods for dynamically concealing sensitive information in a shared screen session of a video conference are disclosed. The system may establish communication with one or more computing devices active in a video conference in which each computing device may switch between a screen share mode and a video mode. The system may determine that one or more articles of sensitive information are visible in a graphical user interface associated with a first computing device of the plurality of computing devices. The system may receive a first signal from the first computing device that indicates a first intent of a host associated with the first computing device to switch the screen share mode which includes sharing the first graphical user interface with the one or more computing devices during the video conference. In response to the first signal, the system may execute one or more privacy actions.

Abstract: Disclosed are various embodiments of a food safety management system, including a web portal for management and reporting and a handheld computing device for checklist completion. A checklist of tasks to be performed in a food service establishment is obtained and displayed on a touchscreen of the handheld computing device. Confirmation is obtained on the touchscreen whether a task has been completed. Temperature readings are obtained from one or more stationary sensors monitoring a food storage environment. Task completion data and temperature data are sent to a server.

Abstract: A computer-implemented method for enhancing an offer included within an online advertisement is implemented by a computing device. The computing device is coupled to a memory device. The method includes storing, within the memory device, a plurality of online advertisements. At least some of the plurality of online advertisements include offers. The method also includes identifying a candidate offer included within an online candidate advertisement from the plurality of online advertisements stored within the memory device, validating the candidate offer including determining that a web site associated with the online candidate advertisement includes data matching the candidate offer, and enhancing the display information associated with the validated candidate offer prior to providing the online candidate advertisement associated with the validated candidate offer.

A plurality of parameters associated with laser irradiation units are input into a user interface. The parameters include an area parameter, a laser irradiation unit density parameter, optionally a discontinuity parameter, and a dye removal parameter. A plurality of laser irradiation units arranged in a pattern area of a user interface based on computer processing of the inputted plurality of parameters is received for viewing at the user interface. The laser irradiation units collectively establish the pattern image for viewing by the user.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates generally to dry inks for use in marking the eye prior to surgery and methods of applying the same to eye marking devices. Such inks can include various accepted inks for use on the eye that can be applied to a marking device using relatively fast-evaporating solvents. In this manner, the remaining ink composition can be precisely placed on the eye marking device, and desirably transfer to the marking surface of the eye without dissolving on the journey through the various membranes above the marking surface. Application methods may include use of charged ink particles that may be advantageously manipulated using magnetic fields to even more precisely place the dry ink on a marking device.

Abstract: Disclosed herein are techniques for displaying images on multiple image planes in a near-eye display system. A switchable optical device includes a first polarizer configurable to polarize incident light into light of a first circular polarization state, and a second polarizer configurable to transmit light of a second circular polarization state and reflect light of the first circular polarization state into light of the first circular polarization state. The switchable optical device also includes a partial reflector positioned between the first polarizer and the second polarizer. The partial reflector is configured to transmit light from the first polarizer and reflect light from the second polarizer, where the reflected light and the light from the second polarizer have different polarization states. At least one of the first polarizer or the second polarizer includes a cholesteric liquid crystal (CLC) circular polarizer that is switchable by a voltage signal.

A transcoder module can receive a FLASH-based content item including instructions to cause a computing device to generate or access a display list comprising display objects. The transcoder module can traverse the display list to identify a class type for each display object. The transcoder module can generate a set of HTML-based instructions based on the class type for each display object. The transcoder module can insert the generated set of HTML-based instructions into an instruction list. The transcoder module can store the instruction list in a data structure. An policy generator module can generate an execution policy. The execution policy can specify an application of a client device to execute the sets of HTML-based instructions in the instructions list based on a trigger condition.

Generally, the buffer zone will change as ambient conditions, location, and orientation of an unmanned vehicle change during travel of the unmanned vehicle along its predefined mission route.
