  • Patent number: 11004170
Abstract: Systems and methods for converting FLASH content to HTML content is described herein. A transcoder module can receive a FLASH-based content item including instructions to cause a computing device to generate or access a display list comprising display objects. The transcoder module can traverse the display list to identify a class type for each display object. The transcoder module can generate a set of HTML-based instructions based on the class type for each display object. The transcoder module can insert the generated set of HTML-based instructions into an instruction list. The transcoder module can store the instruction list in a data structure. An policy generator module can generate an execution policy. The execution policy can specify an application of a client device to execute the sets of HTML-based instructions in the instructions list based on a trigger condition.

  • Patent number: 11005177
Abstract: A remotely controllable antenna mount for use with a wireless telecommunication antenna provides mechanical azimuth and tilt adjustment using AISG compatible motor control units and AISG control and monitoring systems to remotely adjust the physical orientation of the antenna. The mount control units are serially interconnected with AISG antenna control units which adjust electronic tilt mechanisms within the antenna itself. An AISG compatible mount azimuth control unit drives rotatable movement of the antenna through a range of azimuth angle positions. The antenna mount further includes a mechanical downtilt assembly interconnected between the antenna interface and the antenna. An AISG compatible mount tilt control unit drives linear movement of an actuator assembly and corresponding pivoting of the antenna through a range of tilt angle positions.

  • Patent number: 11006353
Abstract: Location access units (LAUs) in a wireless communications system (WCS) for transmitting information to a wireless client device in a WCS for determining location of wireless client device. The LAUs each include a transmitter(s) configured to transmit local wireless communications signal that includes identification information of the LAU, to a wireless client device in the WCS. This identification information can be used to associate the location of the LAU to the client device, because the client device is known to be in communication range of the LAU. In one example, the carrier of a communication session with a client device in the WCS can instruct the client device to scan for local wireless communications signals transmitted by an LAU. The client device returns received identification information from received wireless communications signals transmitted by an LAU to the carrier to associate this location of the LAU to the client device.

  • Patent number: 11005233
Abstract: A low noise, single mode laser includes a semiconductor gain element generating light and having a highly reflective first end forming a first end of a laser cavity. The gain element may be monolithically or discretely integrated with, or distinct from, and coupled to a waveguide comprised of a low loss material with a refractive index ‘n’ greater than 3. The waveguide includes a Bragg grating forming the second end of the laser cavity. A cavity phase control section may be provided between the gain element and the Bragg grating. Two photodetector monitors provide a feedback signal for locking the light from the gain element to a specific wavelength on the Bragg grating reflection spectrum by varying at least one of the cavity phase control section and the gain element bias current. The Bragg grating may have a physical length larger than 10 mm and that occupies at least 50% of the optical length of the external cavity.

  • Patent number: 11003053
Abstract: A thin flash module for a camera uses a flexible circuit as a support surface. A blue GaN-based flip chip LED die is mounted on the flex circuit. The LED die has a thick transparent substrate forming a “top” exit window so at least 40% of the light emitted from the die is side light. A phosphor layer conformally coats the die and a top surface of the flex circuit. A stamped reflector having a knife edge rectangular opening surrounds the die. Curved surfaces extending from the opening reflect the light from the side surfaces to form a generally rectangular beam. A generally rectangular lens is affixed to the top of the reflector. The lens has a generally rectangular convex surface extending toward the die, wherein a beam of light emitted from the lens has a generally rectangular shape corresponding to an aspect ratio of the camera's field of view.

  • Patent number: 11006305
Abstract: A wireless device receives one or more messages from a base station. The one or more messages comprise: first configuration parameters of one or more cells grouped into a timing advance group; second configuration parameters of a time alignment timer for the timing advance group; and third configuration parameters of semi-persistent channel state information (CSI) reports for transmission via a first cell of the one or more cells. A downlink control information is received. The downlink control information indicates activation of a plurality of resources of the first cell for the semi-persistent CSI reports. A semi-persistent CSI report, of the semi-persistent CSI reports, is transmitted via a first resource of the plurality of resources. In response to the time alignment timer expiring, second resources of the plurality of resources that occur after the time alignment timer expires are cleared.

  • Patent number: 11004518
Abstract: Methods for reducing read disturb using NAND strings with poly-silicon channels and p-type doped source lines are described. During a boosted read operation for a selected memory cell transistor in a NAND string, a back-gate bias or bit line voltage may be applied to a bit line connected to the NAND string and a source line voltage greater than the bit line voltage may be applied to a source line connected to the NAND string; with these bias conditions, electrons may be injected from the bit line and annihilated in the source line during the read operation. To avoid leakage currents through NAND strings in non-selected memory blocks, the threshold voltages of source-side select gate transistors of the NAND strings may be set to a negative threshold voltage that has an absolute voltage value greater than the source line voltage applied during the read operation.

  • Patent number: 11004535
Abstract: Apparatuses and techniques are described for reliably storing bad column data in a memory device. Units of bad column data and related units of error detection data are stored in non-adjacent groups of memory cells connected to a word line in a ROM block. A unit of bad column data and a related unit of error detection data can be stored in respective groups of memory cells which are relatively far apart from one another along the word line. This helps ensure that a defect in some NAND strings will not affect both the unit of bad column data and a related unit of error detection data. In another aspect, a unit of bad column data and a related unit of error detection data can be stored using different input/output circuits to further increase robustness.

  • Patent number: 11005014
Abstract: Techniques related to optics formation using pick-up tools are disclosed. Optical elements are formed by pressing a pick-up tool (PUT) against elastomeric material deposited on a light-outputting side of light-emitting diode (LED) devices. Pressing the PUT against the elastomeric material causes a molded shape of the PUT to be transferred to the elastomeric material. This forms the optical elements in the elastomeric material.

  • Patent number: 10999966
Abstract: A pneumatic seed delivery system is provided for use with planter for row-crop planting an agricultural field in which the pneumatic seed delivery system may use high pressure air to accelerate seeds that are singulated from a seed meter to match ground speed when planting. The pneumatic seed delivery system includes an air accelerator arranged downstream of a release location of the seed meter. The air accelerator may define a pneumatic device such as an air conveyor or air amplifier that merges a primary airflow with a controllable supplemental airflow to provide a correspondingly controllable combined airflow that carries and accelerates the singulated seeds so that the seeds can be released with a rearward horizontal seed velocity component that approximates a forward ground speed of the planter to reduce seed tumble.
