Abstract: A wireless device receives a first downlink control information indicating activation of a semi-persistent channel state information reporting. A first medium access control (MAC) control element (CE) is transmitted confirming the first downlink control information. The first MAC CE is identified by a first MAC subheader with a first logical channel identifier for the semi-persistent channel state information reporting. A second downlink control information indicating activation of a configured uplink grant is received. A second MAC CE confirming the second downlink control information is transmitted. The second MAC CE is identified by a second MAC subheader with a second logical channel identifier for the configured uplink grant.
Abstract: A vehicle exhaust system includes an exhaust pipe defining an exhaust gas flow path, a heat recovery device connected to the exhaust pipe, and a diverter valve that controls exhaust gas flow between the exhaust pipe and heat recovery device. The diverter valve is moveable between at least a heat recovery mode where the diverter valve blocks flow through the exhaust pipe and directs flow into the heat recovery device, a full bypass acoustic mode where the diverter valve blocks flow through the heat recovery device and directs flow through the exhaust pipe, a transition mode where the diverter valve partially blocks flow through the heat recovery device and partially blocks flow through the exhaust pipe, and a partial bypass acoustic mode where the diverter valve blocks flow through the heat recovery device and partially blocks flow through the exhaust pipe.

Abstract: Methods and systems are provided for controlling coolant flow through parallel branches of a coolant circuit including an AC condenser and a charge air cooler. Flow is apportioned through each of an air-conditioning condenser, a charge air cooler (CAC), and a transmission oil cooler (TOC) of the coolant circuit to maintain an estimated transmission oil temperature (TOT) below a threshold. The TOT is estimated from a torque converter slip ratio.

Abstract: Provided is a method for implementing skewing in a hybrid homopolar generator comprising. The method includes aligning inductor poles within an axial front segment of a rotor, with corresponding magnets within an axial back segment of the rotor. The method also includes moving, during assembly, the axial front segment and the axial back segment relative to each other such that inductor poles in the axial front segment and the axial back segment form a pattern.

Abstract: A vehicle includes one or more controllers, programmed to responsive to receiving an indication of a destination, select a charger within a predefined geofence from the destination; responsive to detecting the vehicle becoming less than a predefined distance from the charger, calculate a proposed charging schedule based on a current state-of-charge (SOC) and a desired SOC; and join a queue for the charger with the proposed charging schedule.
Abstract: A method of and system for enabling enhanced interactions with a shared screen during a virtual communication session is carried out by enabling display of gridlines on the shared screen. The method may include receiving a request via a first control of a user interface to display gridlines on a portion of the user interface, the portion of the user interface displaying a shared screen during the communication session between at least two participants in the communication session where a first participant shares the screen with a second participant, and upon receiving the request, enabling display of the gridlines on the shared screen of each of the first and the second participants. The first control of the user interface may be an option provided by a virtual communication environment via which the communication session between the first and the second participants is established.
Abstract: According to the invention, there is provided seed and plants of the corn variety designated CV474499. The invention thus relates to the plants, seeds and tissue cultures of the variety CV474499, and to methods for producing a corn plant produced by crossing a corn plant of variety CV474499 with itself or with another corn plant, such as a plant of another variety. The invention further relates to corn seeds and plants produced by crossing plants of variety CV474499 with plants of another variety, such as another inbred line. The invention further relates to the inbred and hybrid genetic complements of plants of variety CV474499.
Abstract: Methods and apparatus for RFID communications in a process control system are disclosed. An example apparatus includes a non-volatile memory to be operatively coupled to a field device of a process control system; and a radio-frequency identification tag to be operatively coupled to the non-volatile memory. The non-volatile memory is to store data received from at least one of the field device or a radio-frequency identification writer via the radio-frequency identification tag. The radio-frequency identification tag is to wirelessly transmit the data to a radio-frequency identification reader. The data includes at least one of maintenance information, diagnostic information, or configuration information associated with the field device. The non-volatile memory and the radio-frequency identification tag to be physically coupled to the field device.
Abstract: The present invention provides methods for treating Parkinson's Disease (PD), e.g., PD associated with a genetic mutation in a glucocerebrosidase (GBA) gene or a leucine rich repeat kinase 2 (LRRK2) gene. The methods comprise administering to the subject a modulator, e.g., an inhibitor, of p53-inducible gene 3 (PIG3).
