Abstract: In various embodiments, the present invention provides a system and associated methods of calibration and use for an interactive imaging environment based on the optimization of parameters used in various segmentation algorithm techniques. These methods address the challenge of automatically calibrating an interactive imaging system, so that it is capable of aligning human body motion, or the like, to a visual display. As such the present invention provides a system and method of automatically and rapidly aligning the motion of an object to a visual display.
Abstract: Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on a computer storage medium, for generating a representation of a trajectory of a target agent in an environment. In one aspect, the representation of the trajectory of the target agent in the environment is a concatenation of a plurality of channels, where each channel is represented as a two-dimensional array of data values. Each position in each channel corresponds to a respective spatial position in the environment, and corresponding positions in different channels correspond to the same spatial position in the environment. The channels include a time channel and a respective motion channel corresponding to each motion parameter in a predetermined set of motion parameters.

Abstract: A mechanism and method for externally adjusting the mid-valve stiffness is described and enables adjustment of a mid-valve functionality without disassembly of a suspension system incorporating the invention. The effect of this adjustment on the damping curve is far greater than either low-speed compression adjusters or conventional high-speed compression adjusters. The apparatus combines the valve-stiffening system of a high speed compression adjuster with the sensitivity of the mid-valve. Externally accessible adjustment members are operatively coupled to the mid-valve components located internally in a fork so that manipulation of the adjustment members causes adjustment of the mid-valve and the damping force created by the mid-valve. The apparatus may be utilized in closed cartridge suspension forks (CCSF) and open cartridge suspension forks (OCSF) and other shocks or suspension dampers.
Abstract: A new apparatus and method within a portable Mudlogging gas detection system that determines the total amounts and various composition of an incoming mix of gases extracted from drilling fluid. The Mudlogging system consists of at least one electronic computing device, at least one infrared interferometer, and at least one other device for detecting gasses extracted from the drilling fluid. The Mudlogging system may switch from the primary gas detection means to a secondary gas detection means upon detection of a non-recoverable fault of the first gas detection means.
Abstract: A method for estimation of relative coordinates between two parts of a linked vehicle system. The system includes a towing vehicle and a towed implement or trailer. A first sensor is configured to measure the movement rate of the towing vehicle while a second sensor is configured to measure the movement rate of the towed implement. Both sensors interact with each other to measure the absolute distance between sensors. Using the known linkage geometry, relative distance between the sensors and relative rotation rates, the relative coordinates between the towing vehicle and towed implement can be estimated.
Abstract: An optical instrument, such as a spotting scope, is provided. The optical instrument may include a range finder configured to calculate or otherwise determine a distance between the optical instrument and an identified object. The optical instrument may also include a display and a user interface. In some embodiments, an operation system associated with the optical instrument may include sensing touchless gestures. For example, hand gestures or eye gestures may be used to navigate a user interface, to actuate the laser range finder, to alter the brightness of a display, or to carry out any of a number of other operational commands.

Abstract: A first user device may receive, from a second user device, a request to communicatively couple to the first user device, and may establish a communication session with the second user device after receiving the request. The first user device may identify, after establishing the communication session, an inappropriate activity of the second user device relating to the communication session, and perform a set of actions based on identifying the inappropriate activity. The set of actions may include causing the communication session to be restricted, and providing, to a trust platform, a score for the second user device. The score may permit the trust platform to derive a composite score, indicative of a level of trustworthiness of the second user device, that enables other user devices, associated with the trust platform, to determine whether to grant access requests submitted by the second user device.

The dispenser also includes dispensing means connected to the electric motor and configured to dispense feed received from the feed outlet when the electric motor is energized. The controller can be configured to energize the electric motor according to a schedule based at least in part on a selection of at least one astronomical event and at least one corresponding offset time.
