Abstract: A hybrid electric vehicle (HEV) includes an inverter control system connected to a transmission such that the connection secures the inverter control system to the transmission during operation while allowing limited pivoting or rotating of the inverter control system relative to the transmission during a frontal collision to modify the translational motion and reduce or avoid loading of rigid objects or components between the inverter control system and the vehicle cabin or occupant compartment. Positioning of an electric cable conduit or connector near or adjacent to the pivot or rotational axis reduces translational force on the conductors to reduce or avoid damage during a frontal collision.

  • Publication number: 20210133153
Abstract: Systems and methods for generating a template directory based on an existing directory using the hierarchy of files in the directory. The system may use clustering analysis to determine similarities between items within the directory or files to generate a profile based on the characteristics of the saved items. The template directory may then be moved to another computing environment and items on the new computing environment may be arranged in a structure the mimics the existing directory. The system may update the profile of files in the directory dynamically as new items are created and saved within the computing environment hosting the template directory.

  • Publication number: 20210133824
Abstract: A system for generating forecast data and optimizing a real-time bid on an impression comprising a user information database and a processor in communication with the user information database. The processor receives input data that is indicative of a probability of a user to purchase or rent real estate from the user information database. The processor generates a purchase window that is indicative of a predetermined time period when the user is likely to purchase or rent the real estate for the user based on the received input data. The processor then automatically adjusts a bid for an impression in real-time based on the generated purchase window.

  • Patent number: 10996203
Abstract: Acoustic transducers generate and receive acoustic signals at multiple locations along a surface of rigid structure, wherein longitudinal spacing between transducer locations define measurement zones. Acoustic signals with chosen amplitude-time-frequency characteristics excite multiple vibration modes in the structure within each zone. Small mechanical changes in inspection zones lead to scattering and attenuation of broadband acoustic signals, which are detectable as changes in received signal characteristics as part of a through-transmission technique. Additional use of short, narrowband pulse acoustic signals as part of a pulse-echo technique allows determination of the relative location of the mechanical change within each zone based on the differential delay profiles. For accurate acoustic modeling and simulation, the mesh size, time step, time delay, and time-window size are optimized.

  • Patent number: 10997334
Abstract: For implementing a logic design, a method encodes a logic design as a linear array that includes a plurality of logic states. The method calculates a combination map for a state transition between a start state and an end state of the plurality of logic states using the linear array to reduce computational overhead. In addition, the method identifies undefined binary input variable transitions for the state transition on the combination map. The method resolves the undefined binary input variable transitions in the linear array. The method generates a final logic design comprising Boolean logic from the linear array with the resolved binary input variable transitions. The method implements the final logic design in hardware by generating semiconductor gates that implement the Boolean logic.
