Abstract: The invention relates to a plate fixed between two bone parts by way of screws engaged in holes formed in the thickness of said plate. The plate comprises an angled member or rib which is inclined according to an angle of between about 30° and 60° in relation to the plane defined by the plate. The angled member or rib has a hole for engaging a screw and is located in the central part of the width, over a determined part of the length of the plate, so that the screw brings the two bone parts into a compressive position.

Abstract: Systems and methods for presenting content are disclosed. One method can comprise presenting an interface such as a content guide comprising a field relating to content. A selection of one or more of a plurality of filters can be received. A first indicator representing first information can be presented if a first one of the filters is selected, wherein the first information relates to the field. A second indicator representing second information can be presented if a second one of the filters selected, wherein the second information relates to the field.

Abstract: The water treatment device is an AOP (advanced oxidization process) apparatus that provides effective sanitation of pool water. The device includes couplings that can adapt to fit various standard pool equipment. Inside the reaction chamber of the main body, there are a nozzle and a metal catalyst. The nozzle creates water jet impinging the metal catalyst, which subsequently creates bubbles. Being entrained in the water, the bubbles substantially collapse and create high temperature and pressure changes. These changes cause water to go through chemical dissociation, thus creating hydroxyl radicals, a highly reactive oxidizer. In a fast rate, the hydroxyls attach to and destroy organic contaminants in the water. The metal catalyst remains chemically unchanged. The apparatus has a long service life and substantially reduces the use of chemicals in a pool.

Abstract: Apparatus and associated methods relate to an online ordering/takeout system for customers to place orders with a variety of merchants, where a customer can let a merchant know that the customer is on their way, and in response, the status of the order is updated in a locker-tracking system. In an illustrative example, a customer device may allow for customers to communicate an in-transit status to the merchant. A merchant device may, for example, allow a customer to gain access to a locker that stores the customer's order. In response to milestone events, such as placing a food item in a locker or the customer indicating they are “on their way,” the system may update a status of the locker to reflect a current status of the locker/order. Some embodiments may advantageously provide confirmation to the merchant that the customer is in route to the merchant's location.

A client device such as a set-top box may receive information associated with a notification, wherein the notification comprises a reminder or action that is to be completed. The client device may output information associated with the notification to a display that is being used to present content to a viewer, wherein the output of information includes an identification of the reminder or requested action. The reminder or action may be associated with a predetermined duration of time within which the action is to be completed. If the action is not completed within the predetermined duration of time, the client device may manipulate playback and output of the content to the display until a confirmation of the action being completed is received by the client device.

A load management system is used to offset the deficit or surplus by charging or discharging energy storage in a manner preventing average power draw within at least a subdivision of a utility billing period from exceeding the setpoint, thereby managing demand charges billed by a utility based on power draw of the site.

The method also includes detecting a given lifecycle trigger to load a given web application component at a specified location on a given page of the web application, the given page utilizing a first web application framework and the given web application component utilizing a second web application framework. The method further includes loading an instance of the given web application component at the specified location of the given page of the web application, and processing interactions between the instance of the given web application component and the given page of the web application via the communication channel.

The mechanism having a first lever with a tab portion for actuation and release of a trigger guard, the lever having a snap fit into a lever region without a separate pin. If a second retention mechanism is used, another lever with a tab portion is positioned so the tabs are stacked, depressing one also depresses the tab behind it, such that both mechanisms are released. Overmolded polymer layers in the holster body provides a softer interior handgun engagement surfaces. The holster body is split forwardly with a threaded fastener for clamping onto the handgun.
