The rotating plate is positioned substantially parallel to the fixed plate. A gear ring is positioned about a periphery of the first opening. An inner retaining bracket is received by the first and second openings and is coupled with the gear ring. An outer retaining bracket is coupled with the rotating plate and defines a channel. The fixed plate is at least partially received by the channel. A washer is positioned between the fixed plate and the rotating plate. A bearing member includes first and second legs. The first leg is positioned between the rotating plate and the fixed plate. The second leg is positioned between the fixed plate and the inner retaining bracket.

Abstract: Interfaces utilize two types of tiles, including boundary spanning type tiles and boundary non-spanning type tiles. The boundary non-spanning tile each have a boundary non-spanning parameter/property that prevent the tile from overlapping a particular type of display boundary and that is operable for triggering a modification of a layout presentation of the canvas by causing/modifying the one or more tiles in the first set of tiles to be automatically resized and/or repositioned within the canvas layout presentation when it is determined the boundary non-spanning type tile(s) would overlap the particular type of boundary in a current/prior layout. The boundary spanning type tiles omit the boundary non-spanning parameter/property or have it set to an inactive state.

Abstract: Some variations provide an automated system for solvent extraction of a feed stock to produce a botanical extract, fats, oils, or other desirable solute, comprising: an extraction reactor; a distillation unit; and a second-stage purge chamber or a second-stage purge process utilizing the extraction reactor itself. The second-stage purge chamber or process receives or holds the solid material along with a heated inert non-condensable gas and/or solvent vapor, to recover residual solvent contained in the solid material.

Abstract: Certain embodiments of the present application relate to a variable frequency drive (VFD) cabin for a pump configuration including a mobile trailer on which the VFD cabin is to be mounted. The VFD cabin generally includes a medium-voltage VFD and a ventilation system. In certain embodiments, the ventilation system is configured to generate an overpressure condition within the cabin to discourage the entry of dust and debris into the cabin. In certain embodiments, one or more components of the medium-voltage VFD are coupled to the floor of the cabin via a vibration damping system. In certain embodiments, the VFD cabin may be directly coupled to a chassis of the mobile trailer without an intervening suspension being provided between the VFD cabin and the chassis.

Abstract: Example embodiments of systems and methods for data transmission between a contactless card, a client device, and one or more servers are provided. One or more applets of the contactless card are configured to dynamically generate an encrypted payload appended to a link, wherein the contactless card is configured to transmit the link with the appended payload to the client device via one or more gestures. The one or more servers are configured to receive the payload from the client device via one or more applications, parse and decrypt the payload after launch of one or more applications, and transmit one or more notifications to the client device based on a status associated with decryption of the payload. The client device is granted access to a plurality of services associated with the one or more servers based on the one or more notifications received from the one or more servers.

Abstract: A device may receive a request from a first user device to access a protected device. The device may verify a user identity of a user of the first device based on user credentials and determine that an authentication code is needed to authenticate the request to access the protected device. The device may dynamically generate multiple codes and transmit the multiple codes to a second user device associated with the user identity of the user of the first device. A first code, of the multiple codes, may correspond to a correct authentication code needed to authenticate the request to access the protected device. The device may transmit a message including an instruction for identifying the correct authentication code from among the multiple codes, receive a second code from the first device, compare the second code and the first code, and selectively authenticate the request to access the protected device.

Abstract: Various systems and methods are provided for exhaust gas recirculation. In one example, an exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) system includes an EGR passage coupling an engine exhaust system to an engine intake system, an EGR cooler positioned in the EGR passage, a recirculation passage coupling an outlet of the EGR cooler to an inlet of the EGR cooler, an EGR cooler recirculation valve positioned in the recirculation passage and controllable to change a flow of exhaust gas though the recirculation passage, and a controller configured to adjust a position of the EGR cooler recirculation valve based on a temperature at the inlet of the EGR cooler.

The first mapping data is from canonical names (CNAMEs) to binding names (BNAMEs), and the second mapping data is from BNAMEs to address information. The method includes using the first mapping data to map a canonical name to a binding name; and then using the second mapping data to map the binding name to corresponding address information.

Abstract: A load transporting apparatus may be steered while transporting a load across a base surface, and the load transporting apparatus may be operated hydraulically, electrically, or by use of an encoder. In particular, the load transporting apparatus may include a track configured to a saddle housing (a support movement for a movement assembly), and a foot that may be connected to the track. During load transport, the pad saver may be maintained in a substantially similar position relative to a frame structure supporting the load, even when the transport movement is not in a parallel direction to the orientation of the pad saver.

Abstract: In one aspect of a reinforced tile, the reinforced tile may be configured for use with a support structure that may be engaged with a top portion of a pedestal. The reinforced tile may be configured with a substrate adhered to a back side of a tile, and the substrate may be comprised of a fiberglass material. A groove may be formed along at least one edge of the reinforced tile, and the groove may be positioned at the interface of the tile and substrate. The support structure may be formed with a generally vertical spine having at least one rail extending outward from a distal end thereof. The spine and rail(s) may be configured to secure one or more reinforced tiles, wherein one or more rails may be positioned within a groove formed in the reinforced tile.

Abstract: An annular combustor is disclosed in which free-vortices are generated which: enhance fuel air mixing, recirculate the air, provide cooling for the combustor walls, and provide low emissions and a substantially uniform exit temperature profile. The combustor is provided fuel and air through a plurality of fuel injectors which atomizes the fuel and promote individual vortices emanating from each injector. The combustor includes an annular prechamber, an annular main chamber, and an annular dilution zone. A first swirler is provided on the inner side of the annular prechamber and a second swirler on the outer side of the annular prechamber, the swirlers causing flow to rotate in mutually opposite directions to intensify the vortices imposed by the injectors. The vortices cause a pressure depression to promote some backflow that enhance mixing to: promote complete combustion, produce low emissions, and provide cooling.

Abstract: A method in accordance with present embodiments includes receiving a signal that a vehicle is positioned on a motion base system; and actuating a plurality of motion bases of the motion base system to actuate independently of one another to cause the vehicle to roll, pitch, or heave. Actuating the plurality of motion bases includes providing a first signal to an electrical actuator associated with a first motion base; actuating a movable deck of the first motion base to move a first distance relative to its housing at a first time point; providing a second signal to an electrical actuator associated with a second motion base; and actuating a movable deck of the second motion base to move a second distance relative to its housing at the first time point.

Abstract: Converting a first format program application, into a second format, which can be presented using a device type for which it wasn't designed. Examining the first format for commands that change screen state, and determining instructions in the second format with similar effect. First, searching the object-code calls that write to the screen, and for each determining those parameters that define outputs in a source human language, which can be altered to a target human language. Suggestions from the programmer can determine such output calls, or which parameters control elements of the source human language, to instead select element of the target human language. Alternatively, second, when the program is organized in a known format, searching for calls to output in the source human language, examining the object-code for parameters that define that output, and altering the program to output in a target human language.

Abstract: The present exemplary system and method relates to a feature upon the exterior of a corrugated package that allows an access secondary to the primary opening feature for the inclusion of sample materials that are added after the package has been sealed at the contents' (e.g., appliance) place of manufacture. The benefits of the invention are reduced unit operations and labor to include sample materials. Additionally, the packaging feature will deter theft of sample materials from the product to the point of sale. The theft deterrence is achieved via a tamper-evident label covering the feature after sample materials have been inserted.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a load assist module for transferring articles onto a downstream conveyor. The load assist module may include a roller conveyor having one or more rollers that together define a conveyor plane, such that the one or more rollers may be actuatable to convey the article along the conveyor plane in a direction of a downstream conveyor. The load assist module may further include a pusher assembly positioned adjacent the conveyor plane. The pusher assembly may include a track-guided vertical popup with a base and a pop-up. The pop-up may be actuatable such that the pop-up extends through the conveyor plane to contact the article. The pusher assembly may drive the track-guided vertical popup toward the direction of the downstream conveyor such that the track-guided vertical popup pushes the article.

Abstract: Embodiments relate to fabricating a display device by assembling strips of ?LED devices onto a backplane instead of individually picking and placing each ?LED device onto the backplane. A strip of first ?LED devices is coupled to a set of interconnections on the backplane. Then, the first fabrication substrate is removed from the strip of first ?LED devices. A strip of second ?LED devices producing another color (e.g., green) is attached to a second fabrication substrate. The strip of second ?LED devices is coupled to another set of interconnections on the backplane. The process may be repeated for a strip of third ?LED devices producing yet another color (e.g., blue). After attaching the second and third ?LED devices, fabrication substrates on the second and third ?LED devices are simultaneously removed by laser based lift-off (LLO) method.
