Abstract: A method for adjusting market pricing terms for a service comprises determining a statistical distribution of schedule availability of a first tier of service providers, the first tier of service providers being selected from a plurality of tiers of service providers. A target statistical distribution of schedule availability of service providers of a service is determined. Market pricing terms charged by service providers in the first tier of service providers are adjusted to adjust the statistical distribution of schedule availability relative to the target statistical distribution of schedule availability.
Abstract: A technology is described for monitoring a task definition. The technology may include receiving a task definition from a customer that includes task details for a task to be performed for the customer. The task definition may then be compared to a predetermined criterion where the criterion indicates that the customer may be entering the task definition incorrectly. A task definition that meets the predetermined criterion can be identified and the task definition may be provided to a customer service representative for review.

Abstract: A sleeve material retaining loop is attached to or looped around a strap of a brassiere to retain gathered sleeve material or other items. One end of the sleeve material retaining loop extends out of the neck hole of the outer garment, and another end of the loop extends out of the arm hole of the sleeve above the shoulder of the wearer. The first and second ends of the sleeve material retaining loop are attached at the shoulder of the wearer to retain the sleeve. This helps prevent the sleeve from interfering with the wearer's movement and improves evaporative cooling of the wearer. A sleeve retaining loop storing mechanism stores the loop. Each sleeve retaining loop may be formed of separate interchangeable pieces that are attached to the brassiere. An additional piece of clothing may also be secured to a fastener on the brassiere.
Abstract: A method for determining a value indicator in a broker-mediated geospatial information service environment includes receiving feedback data at a first system of the broker-mediated geospatial information service environment. In particular, the feedback data is received from a plurality of respondents, and relates to a broker-mediated geospatial information service provided to each respondent of the plurality of respondents. Furthermore, each respondent of the plurality of respondents is a prior requestor of a process-dataset solution for performing the broker-mediated geospatial information service. Based on the feedback data, a value indicator relating to the process-dataset solution is determined.
Abstract: A method and apparatus for measuring stem nut wear in a valve having a threaded valve stem that is positioned to engage the threads of a stem nut. In a preferred embodiment, a tool is mounted on the stem nut, wherein the tool rotates when the stem nut rotates. The tool indicates a measurement of stem nut rotation. An indicator indicates stem movement. The stem nut is rotated and the amount of percent wear is observed. Rotation continues until the stem begins to move. The tool provides a reading when the stem begins to move that indicates an amount of stem nut wear.

Abstract: A modified toner based additive is a mixture of a toner powder and a second material selected from a group including a gelling clay, a reactive agent, an elastomer, a functional filler, a handling and agglomerating agent, a compatibilizer and mixtures thereof.
Abstract: A method of making safety toothbrushes is disclosed. The toothbrush apparatus detailed herein employs a composite head made from a rigid inner polymer material and a softer thermoplastic material surrounding the inner material. The softer material provides safety for prison toothbrush applications as well as elderly and patient care where care givers may brush the teeth of the patient. The solution is importantly devoid of glue due to bonding that occurs during the mold curing process.
Abstract: A gift transaction system with a recipient interface in the form of an interactive gift notification is disclosed. The interactive gift notification facilitates customization of a gift package sent from a buyer as well as providing an interface to exchange the originally intended gift item. A method of operating the gift transaction system includes: receiving a gift transaction to send a gift item to a recipient from a buyer; generating an interactive gift notification for the recipient based on the gift transaction; receiving a shipping address for the gift transaction through the interactive gift notification; and sending a notification to a merchant store to ship a gift package including the gift item to the shipping address.
Abstract: A system architecture of a gift transaction system is disclosed. The gift transaction system can include a buyer interface module, a recipient interface module, a merchant backend interface module, a store front interface module, a curation module, a reminder module, an analytics module, or a media plug-in interface module. A method of operating the gift transaction system under the system architecture includes: providing an embedded widget on a website to determine gift intent to initiate a gift transaction by a buyer account for a recipient account; generating a gift buyer interface for a first client device to personalize a gift package including a gift item; generating a gift recipient interface for a second client device to customize the gift package; and communicating with a merchant backend system to complete the gift transaction to ship the gift package.
Abstract: A gift transaction system with a buyer interface is disclosed. The buyer interface facilitates personalization by a buyer of a gift package to send to a recipient. A method of operating a gift transaction system with the buyer interface includes: determining gift intent of a buyer account to send a gift item in a gift transaction; generating a buyer gift interface to receive a recipient contact entry of a recipient in response to the determined gift intent; generating an interactive gift notification to the recipient contact entry to receive a confirmation of the gift transaction; and sending a notification to a merchant store to ship a gift package to the recipient in response to receiving the confirmation.

Abstract: Technology is described for modifying a task frequency. The method may include setting a task price for a task based on task details and statistical price data. The task frequency of the task can be modified. Another operation can be computing a pro-rata value created due to modifying the task frequency. The pro-rata value can be divided between a service provider and a customer to provide a monetary benefit to either the service provider or to the customer using the processor.
Abstract: A method for providing insurance for tasks comprises identifying a task definition for a task to be performed for a customer. The task has task details associated therewith. A task value is set for the task based on the task details, using a processor. A service provider is assigned to perform the task at the task value, using the processor. A determination is made as to whether the service provider has adequate insurance to cover one or more insurable risks associated with performance of the task. A task insurance rider is requested to be applied to the task in the event the service provider does not have adequate insurance to cover the one or more insurable risks associated with performance of the task.
