    Abstract: A lockout device includes a body, a clamp, and a cover. The body includes a recess and a first lock passage extending from a first opening in an upper surface to a second opening in a rear surface. The clamp is assembled with a clamp retaining portion of the body. The cover is connected with the body and is movable between a lockout position covering at least a portion of the clamp and a release position uncovering the clamp to permit adjustment. The cover includes first and second cutouts. When the cover is in the lockout position, the first and second cutouts align with the first and second openings of the body to permit insertion of a lock member through the first lock passage, thereby preventing movement of the cover from the lockout position to the release position.

The capacitance sensing substrate includes a plurality of key sensors in alignment with the corresponding plurality of key locations. Each of the plurality of conducting members has a first end disposed in a corresponding one of the plurality of barrier panel bores and a second end engaging a corresponding one of the plurality of key sensors.

    Abstract: A lockout device for a trailer hitch coupler includes a bottom member and a ratchet body. The bottom member includes a body, a coupler blocking member extending from the body in a vertical direction for engagement with a trailer hitch coupler, and an extension extending from the body in the vertical direction. The ratchet body includes a housing defining a vertical bore sized to receive the extension, a locking mechanism disposed within the housing, and a lock interface assembled with the housing. The locking mechanism is configured to lockingly engage a recess in the extension when the extension is received in the bore. The lock interface is configured to move the locking mechanism from a locked condition to an unlocked condition to disengage the extension recess thereby permitting movement of the ratchet body in a direction away from the bottom member.

  • Anti-tampering arrangements for pin tumbler cylinder locks

    Abstract: A pin tumbler cylinder lock includes a shell, a plug, and at least first and second tumbler pins and first and second driver pins. At least the first driver pin extends into a corresponding plug channel when the plug is in a locked condition, such that rotation of the plug with respect to the shell is blocked. The lock is configured such that at least the first driver pin is separated from the first tumbler pin by a gap when the plug is in the locked condition. When the first and second tumbler pins are raised without the proper key and the gap between the first tumbler pin and the first driver pin is eliminated, the second tumbler pin extends across the shear line and into the corresponding shell channel.

The body defines an enclosure and includes a body aperture and the lid includes a first lid aperture positioned adjacent to the body aperture when the lid is in the closed position, such that insertion of a padlock shackle through the body aperture and the lid aperture prevents pivoting movement of the lid from the closed position to the open position. The lockbox includes a slot intersecting one of the body aperture and the lid aperture for insertion of an item into the enclosure when the lid is in the closed position. A padlock shackle inserted through the body aperture and the lid aperture prevents passage of an item through the slot.

The locking mechanism is assembled within one of the lock body and the lock bar and is operable between a locking condition securing the lock bar against movement from the securing position to the release position, and an unlocked condition permitting movement of the lock bar from the securing position to the release position.
