Abstract: A thermoplastic elastomer composition, including 100 parts by mass of an ethylene??-olefin non-conjugated polyene copolymer (A), 20 to 5,000 parts by mass of a soft propylene-based copolymer (B), a melting point (TmB) is not observed or is lower than 115° C., 10 to 500 parts by mass of a crystalline polyolefin (C), a melting point (TmC) is 115° C. or higher, 0 to 70 parts by mass of a softener (D), and 0.01 to 10 parts by mass of a crosslinking agent (E), the soft propylene-based copolymer (B) further satisfies the following requirements (b-1) and (b-2): (b-1) 90 to 50 mol % of a constituent unit derived from propylene, 0 to 30 mol % of a constituent unit derived from 1-butene, and 5 to 30 mol % of a constituent unit derived from ethylene, are contained; (b-2) a molecular weight distribution (Mw/Mn) obtained by gel permeation chromatography (GPC) is in a range of 1.0 to 3.5.
Abstract: A bonded body is provided including: a bonding layer containing Cu; and a semiconductor element bonded to the bonding layer. The bonding layer includes an extending portion laterally extending from a peripheral edge of the semiconductor element. In a cross-sectional view in a thickness direction, the extending portion rises from a peripheral edge of a bottom of the semiconductor element or from the vicinity of the peripheral edge of the bottom of the semiconductor element, and includes a side wall substantially spaced apart from a side of the semiconductor element. Preferably, the extending portion does not include any portion where the side wall and the side of the semiconductor element are in contact with each other. A method for manufacturing a bonded body is also provided.

Abstract: An operation relay device for a motor-vehicle door latch includes a base fixed to a door panel of a door, an operation handle pivotably supported to the base, and a link lever transmitting an opening operation by the operation handle to a door latch. The base includes a plurality of fixing parts, and the operation handle is pivotably supported at a position deviating from a center in a front-rear direction on the base, so that a center of gravity of the operation relay device is in a side of the deviating position. The fixing parts except a specific fixing part are respectively fixed to the door panel by a bolt. The specific fixing part is a temporary fixing piece that is integrally formed on the upper portion of the base to be capable of engaging with an engaging hole formed on the door panel.
Abstract: Provided is a method for manufacturing a modified aluminosilicate in which a hydroquinone is highly selectively manufactured by a reaction between a phenol and hydrogen peroxide under industrially advantageous conditions, wherein the manufacturing method includes: a second step for treating an aluminosilicate with an acid; a third step for performing primary calcination of the treatment product obtained in the second step; and a fourth step in which the primary calcined product obtained in the third step and liquid containing one or more elements selected from the group consisting of elements in Group 4 and Group 5 of the Periodic Table are brought into contact with each other, and drying and secondary calcination then performed.
Abstract: This anisotropic electroconductive sheet includes: an insulating layer having a first surface, a second surface, and a plurality of through-holes penetrating between the two surfaces; a plurality of electroconductive layers disposed on the inner wall surfaces of each of the plurality of through-holes; and a plurality of electroconductive fillers filled into cavities surrounded by the electroconductive layers inside each of the plurality of through-holes. Each of the plurality of electroconductive fillers contains a crosslinked product of an electroconductive elastomer composition containing electroconductive particles and an elastomer.

Abstract: An automatic door opening and closing system is provided with: an image capture unit that captures an image of a road surface around the vehicle, including around a door; a door lock unit that locks the door into a closed state; a drive unit that opens/closes the door; an operation unit to which a door opening operation is input; a notification unit that notifies an occupant who has operated the operation unit of information; and a control device. When a door opening operation is input to the operation unit, the control device detects an obstacle present on the road surface around the door using a captured image acquired by the imaging unit. In response to detecting the obstacle, the control device performs at least one of notification of the obstacle detection by the notification unit and invalidation of the door opening operation input to the operation unit.
Abstract: There are provided core part manufacturing method and apparatus for manufacturing a core part of a rotary electric machine. The core part manufacturing method includes: injecting a molten resin from a side on one end surface of an iron core body into a plurality of space portions provided in the iron core body in a state where the iron core body is sandwiched and pressed. In injecting of the resin, a contact surface on an opposite side to a side where the resin is injected includes: a relief portion that is recessed without contacting to the one end surface; and a remaining portion that is adjacent to a non-contact region. The remaining portion is disposed in the contact surface on an outer peripheral side from the non-contact region, and the relief portion is disposed further in the contact surface on an outer peripheral side from the remaining portion.

Abstract: The honeycomb catalyst structure to be used for exhaust gas of a marine engine includes an SCR catalyst supported on a metal honeycomb unit having a shape divided by cell walls into a plurality of cells extending from one end face to the other end face. The SCR catalyst contains TiO2 alone, or contains TiO2 as a principal component and any one type or two or more types of V2O5, WO3, MoO3, SiO2, and Al2O3 in combination. The cell density of the plurality cells is 100 to 500 cpsi, and the slope of a straight line represented by a relationship between the flow velocity and the pressure loss of the exhaust gas passing through the cells is 30 or more and 180 or less.

Abstract: Provided is a kneading apparatus which can obtain, from recovered resin, a recycled resin having a specific viscosity while minimizing the addition of impurities. One kneading apparatus has a second kneader for adding a second resin into a first resin that has been kneaded by a first kneader and kneading the mixture. The second kneader varies the amount of the second resin to be added, according to the viscosity of the first resin kneaded by the first kneader. Other kneading apparatus has a second kneader for adding a second resin and a third resin into a first resin that has been kneaded by a first kneader and kneading the mixture. The second kneader varies the proportion of the to-be-added amount of the second resin with respect to the to-be-added amount of the third resin, according to the viscosity of the kneaded material extruded from the second kneader.
Abstract: Provided are: a multilayer structure having a strong initial interlayer adhesive force, with a decrease of the interlayer adhesive force being prevented even in a case of use in a harsh environment such as exposure to hot water, an acid, or an alkali for a long period of time; a method for producing such a multilayer structure; and a sheet for preventing diffusion of hazardous substances, a landfill geomembrane, and a multilayer pipe, each including such a multilayer structure.

Abstract: A machine learning device that includes a training section configured perform training based on plural training data each configured from oral cavity information detected from a specimen and at least one determination value selected from the group consisting of a probability of periodontal disease contraction of a provider of the specimen or a state of periodontal disease, so as to train the function to decide the determination value. The training section includes a reward calculation section, a function updating section, and a convergence determination section. The reward calculation section calculates a reward for a defined result of the probability of periodontal disease contraction or the state of periodontal disease based on the training data. The function updating section updates the function so as to increase the reward calculated by the reward calculation section. The convergence determination section causes repeated calculations and updates until a predetermined convergence condition is satisfied.
Abstract: A composition for forming a conductive film contains flat metal particles and a resin. The flat metal particles each have a metal oxide layer in the surface portion thereof. The flat metal particles have a ratio of the thickness of the metal oxide layer to the thickness of the flat metal particle of from 0.010 to 0.300. The thickness of the metal oxide layer is from 0.010 ?m to 2.000 ?m. In the method for manufacturing a conductive film, a composition for forming a conductive film is used, the composition containing flat metal particles and a resin. The composition for forming a conductive film is applied to a base material to form a coating film, and then the coating film is irradiated with light to sinter the coating film, thereby obtaining a conductive film. The flat metal particles each have a metal oxide layer in the surface portion thereof.
