Abstract: The invention aims to provide latent curing agents which exert high low-temperature curing properties when used together with ionically polymerizable compounds and which exhibit high storage stability at room temperature. Latent curing agents for ionically polymerizable compounds which agents each contain a hydroxyl-free amine imide compound having an N—N bond energy of 100 to 210 kJ/mol as determined by B3LYP functional theory method.
Abstract: Disclosed is a film having polarization selectivity and diffusibility, and a means for easily producing the film. The polarizing diffuser film is composed of substantially one kind of crystalline resin having an intrinsic birefringence of not less than 0.1, has a total light transmittance to visible light of 50-90%, a transmission haze to visible light of 15-90% and a transition polarization degree to visible light of 20-90%.
Abstract: The process for producing an internal mold release agent for an optical material of the present invention includes a step of heating, to a range of 80° C. to 140° C., a composition including (a) a phosphoric ester compound, and (b) an alcohol compound containing an aliphatic alcohol having 1 to 10 carbon atoms and/or aromatic alcohol, when the total amount of (a) and (b) is 100% by weight, the alcohol compound (b) is included in an amount equal to or more than 2.5% by weight.
Abstract: An aqueous polyurethane resin is prepared by reaction of an isocyanate group-terminated prepolymer with a chain extender containing polyamine. The isocyanate group-terminated prepolymer is obtained by reaction of at least a polyisocyanate containing 50 wt % or more of a non-multiple ring polyisocyanate that does not contain an aromatic ring and an aliphatic ring, or contains one aromatic ring or aliphatic ring; polyoxyethylene polyol; and a polyoxyethylene side chain-containing active compound having two or more hydroxyl groups or isocyanate groups at its molecular terminal and having a polyoxyethylene group in the side chain.

Abstract: A semiconductor substrate thermal treatment apparatus enables excellent heating control in suppressing influence of mutual induction between induction heating coils even when the induction heating coils are arranged in the vertical direction while providing horizontal magnetic flux to susceptors. The apparatus indirectly heats wafers mounted on horizontally-arranged susceptors including induction heating coils to form alternate-current magnetic flux in a direction parallel to a mount face of the susceptor. The wafer are arranged at an outer circumferential side of the susceptor. The induction heating coils are structured with at least one main heating coil and subordinate heating coils electromagnetically coupled with the main heating coil.
Abstract: The purpose of the present invention is to provide a shape retaining film excellent in shape retention, and further having high tensile elasticity and good longitudinal tear resistance. The shape retaining film is composed of at least one base material layer containing an ethylene polymer that has the density of 900 kg/m3 or more, and the weight-average molecular weight (Mw)/number-average molecular weight (Mn) of 5 to 20, and at least one soft layer containing a high polymer material. The ethylene polymer is an ethylene homopolymer or an ethylene-?-olefin copolymer in which the content of a-olefin unit having 3 to 6 carbon atoms is less than 2% by weight, The high polymer material has the melting point (Tm2) lower than the melting point (Tm1) of the ethylene polymer, the tensile elasticity of 10 to 50 GPa, and the recovery angle of 65° or less as a result of 180° bending, test.
Abstract: A laminated stator core 10, formed by laminating stator core sheets 17, each of the stator core sheets 17 punched out from a magnetic metal sheet 32 so as to have a common axis with a rotor core sheet 36 which punched out from the magnetic metal sheet 32 before the stator core sheet 17 is punched out; the stator core sheet 17 including a thin section 24 in a magnetic pole shaft piece 20; the thin section 24 formed by pressing a part or a whole of a magnetic pole shaft piece 20 in a thickness direction, and elongating the same in a radially inward direction; and further the thin section 24 having a thickness within 50-95% of that of the magnetic metal sheet 32 and a radial length within 30-100% of that of the magnetic pole shaft piece 20. This enables a magnetic pole piece 19 to be elongated to form the thin section 24 without adverse effect on magnetic characteristics thereof, and improves caulking accuracy and dimensional accuracy for blanking both of the core sheets 17, 36 from one magnetic metal sheet 32.

Abstract: To reduce cost of chemical by reducing quantity of foaming agent used when removing unburned carbon in fly ash with wet floatation and to prevent decrease in activity index of the fly ash. In wet decarburization of fly ash, the solution comprising the steps of: adding water to fly ash to generate slurry; adding hydrophobizing agent and foaming agent to the slurry and agitating them to generate bubbles; and adhering unburned carbon in the fly ash to the bubbles to float them to remove the unburned carbon in the fly ash, when sedimentation component at wet floatation separation is solid-liquid separated and liquid phase obtained by solid-liquid separation is reused for another floatation separation for new fly ash, the quantity of foaming agent added to the slurry is adjusted such that concentration of the foaming agent in liquid phase is in a predetermined range.

Abstract: A solar cell encapsulated with an encapsulating material which is a non-crystalline or low-crystalline ?-olefin-based copolymer or its composition (I). The composition (C) can contain 50 to 100 parts by weight of non-crystalline ?-olefin polymer (A) which meets the following requirements: (a) the ?-olefin having 3 to 20 carbon atoms is not less than 20 mol %, (b) practically no melt peak as measured by a differential scanning calorimeter is observed, and (c) the Mw/Mn is not more than 5, and 50 to 0 parts by weight of crystalline ?-olefin polymer (B) (the total of (A) and (B) being 100 parts by weight). The non-crystalline or low-crystalline ?-olefin copolymer may also have a crystallinity of not higher than 40% as measured by use of X rays.
