Abstract: Copper powder is provided, which, while having fine granularity and resistance to oxidation, does not lose either resistance to oxidation or balance in conductivity, and furthermore, copper powder for conductive paste in which variations in shape and granularity are small and having a low concentration in oxygen content. The copper powder for conductive paste contains 0.05 to 10 atomic % Bi inside each particle.

Abstract: A raw material supply device (105) includes an introduction pipe (152a) which introduces a carrier gas into a raw material vessel (151), a transport pipe (152b) which transports a source gas fed out from the raw material vessel, a supply pipe (155a) which is branched from the transport pipe and supplies the source gas to a film forming chamber (101), a circulation pipe (155b) which is branched from the transport pipe (152b) and returns the source gas to the introduction pipe (152a), an introduction valve (156a) which is attached to the introduction pipe, a supply valve (156b) which is attached to the supply pipe, a circulation valve (156c) which is attached to the circulation pipe, and a controller (157) which controls opening/closing of the valves. The controller controls the supply valve and the circulation valve to be in opposite open/closed states. The source gas can be supplied more stably while suppressing the waste of the raw material.
Abstract: Provided are a shape-retaining film which has excellent adhesion to inks and other functional layers while retaining high shape-retaining properties and a process for producing the shape-retaining film. The shape-retaining film comprises an ethylene homopolymer or an ethylene/?-olefin copolymer having a C3-6 ?-olefin content less than 2 wt. %, the ethylene homopolymer or copolymer having a density of 950 kg/m3 or higher and a weight-average molecular weight (Mw)/number-average molecular weight (Mn) ratio of 5-20. The film has a tensile elasticity modulus of 6-50 GPa and has either an angle of recovery from 90 bending of 8 or less or an angle of recovery from 180 bending of 65 or less.
Abstract: [Object] To provide a fluororesin molded article having a lowered concentration, of eluted fluorine ions subsequent to molding, and to provide a method for producing a fluororesin molded, article, a fluororesin molded article, and a fluororesin composition whereby the concentration of eluted fluorine ions is lowered. [Means] A method for producing a fluororesin molded article in which fluororesin is melt-molded in the presence of a fluorine ion lowering compound, the molded article obtained thereby, and a fluororesin composition. Ammonia, urea, nitrogen compounds that generate ammonia, and alkalis are preferred examples of the fluorine ion lowering compound. The present invention also offers a molded article formed from fetrafluoroethylene/perfluoro(alkylvinyl ether) that has a fluorine ion concentration of 1 ppm or less.
Abstract: A sealed function element obtainable by sealing a function element, for example, a liquid crystal display element, an element such as an organic EL and the like, and an organic function element such as a sheet like luminous illuminant, an optical device and a solar cell, reliably by a convenient step, particularly it provides a thin type sealed function element having a long life. The sealed function element comprises a substrate layer (W), a function element layer (X) and a laminated film for sealing (Z) wherein the substrate layer (W) and a heat-sealing thermoplastic resin layer (E) of the laminated film for sealing (Z) are adhered and unified by heat-sealing. The laminated film for sealing comprises the heat-sealing thermoplastic resin layer (E), a water-absorbing layer (F) and a gas barrier layer (G) which layers are laminated in this order.

Abstract: Propylene glycol is produced by a method of producing propylene glycol, the method including: obtaining propylene glycol by performing catalytic hydrogenation of glycerol in the presence of a catalyst, the catalyst containing zinc oxide and at least one of copper and copper oxide, and the catalyst, after being reduced at 180° C. to 230° C. in the presence of hydrogen, showing a half width of from 0.4 to 1.1 of a peak having a peak top at a position at which a diffraction angle (2?±0.2°) is 43.1° in an X-ray diffraction pattern obtained using CuK? as a radiation source.

Abstract: A die assembly having a guide rod that includes a lower rod which is fixedly placed on a stripper plate which guides a punch for engagement with a lower die and an upper rod which is placed removably on the stripper plate for engagement with an upper die. When punching a material for punching, the upper rod is removed from the stripper plate so as to put the upper plate and the stripper plate in a disconnected state, i.e., so that the stripper plate is made free to move backwards and forwards relative to the lower die by the lower rod. When the material for punching is not punched, the upper rod is attached to the stripper plate so as to put the upper die and the stripper plate in a connected state by the upper rod, so that the stripper plate is held on to the upper die.
Abstract: A solventless laminating adhesive comprising a polyisocyanate component and a polyol component, both of which are free from polyol components exhibiting crystalline properties at ordinary temperatures. The adhesive exhibits an initial viscosity of 500 to 1000 mPa s three minutes after mixing of the polyisocyanate component with the polyol component and a viscosity increase of 100 to 350% based on the initial viscosity 20 minutes after the mixing. In a coater which is provided with a pair of opposed rolls and in which the rolls rotates in the directions contrary to each other at the opposition site, the adhesive is applied to a film passing between the rolls.

Abstract: The present invention provides a spunbonded non-woven fabric having excellent productivity, stretchability, touch and fuzz resistance without adhesion thereof on a roll and the like just after fiber deposition during the production. The spunbonded non-woven fabric comprises long fibers of a thermoplastic polyurethane elastomer (A) containing ethylene bisoleic acid amide and/or crosslinked organic fine particles and having a hardness of 75 to 85, and the spunbonded non-woven fabric comprises the long fibers of the thermoplastic polyurethane elastomer (A) and long fibers of a thermoplastic resin (B) other than the thermoplastic polyurethane elastomer (A). The present invention also provides uses thereof.
Abstract: In order to avoid a vehicle door hitting the ceiling or wall when the door opens, it is necessary to provide an open-limiting device for holding the door at any open angle. The door is opened with a gear in the open-limiting device. In the open-limiting device for a vehicle door, a ratchet engages with or disengage from the gear by an electric actuator, so that the door is held at any open angle. When the ratchet engages with the gear, the ratchet is capable of disengaging from the gear only if the door is closed, but the ratchet remains in engagement with the gear if the door is opened. So the door can be closed manually by a small force.

Abstract: A door is open and held by engaging a latch with a striker of a vehicle body. The door has a release actuator connected to the latch. The vehicle body includes a power drive and a control module. An operating unit instructs the control module to close the door. The control module instructs the release actuator to disengage the latch from the striker. After the control module instructs the power drive to start closing of the door, releasing of the release actuator is stopped by the control module at a door position determined by actual voltage of a power source.
Abstract: The invention provides a resin composition which develops excellent flame retardance after curing in spite of its being free from halogen-containing compounds and antimony compounds, which are liable to cause environmental load, and which can give a film meeting the recent sever demands for higher flexing resistance and insulation reliability. Specifically, the invention provides a resin composition which comprises (A) a polyimide precursor and (B) an adduct of an organophosphorus compound represented by formula (1) with a compound having four or more (meth)acrylate groups. It is preferable that the resin composition further contain (C) a phosphazene compound.
